Oh, where do I begin with my recent escapade to the newly renovated Jack in the Box? Let's just say it was an experience like no other. The service, I must admit, was absolutely fantastic—almost enough to distract me from the bewildering state of the facility. As I sauntered into the dining room, I was immediately struck by its charming resemblance to a "trap house." Ah, yes, the ambiance was so unique and unconventional that it made me feel like I was on an exciting adventure rather than just grabbing a quick bite to eat. The chairs, or what was left of them, seemed to be engaged in an ongoing competition to determine which one could fall apart the fastest. The missing ceiling tiles added a touch of rustic flair, truly showcasing the establishment's commitment to the "shabby chic" aesthetic. But the real showstopper was the lively congregation of knats. Oh, how they danced and darted about, performing their aerial acrobatics for all the unsuspecting diners to behold. It was like a nature documentary come to life, right in the middle of my meal! And let's not forget the restroom—an enigma wrapped in mystery, sealed with a kiss of eau de uncleanliness. I wisely chose not to venture in, fully aware that the restroom air was eagerly awaiting its next victim. Now, the true mystery of the knats was revealed to me as I gazed upon the out-of-order freestyle machine. Yes, the soda dispenser that promised a delightful symphony of flavors was sadly in a state of disrepair. It was almost as if the machine had become a secret breeding ground for those tiny winged creatures. Quite the ingenious plan, I must say—a living, buzzing fountain of refreshment! In conclusion, my dear friends, I strongly recommend bypassing this extraordinary Jack in the Box location. If the dining room is any indication, one can only imagine the astonishing wonders that await in the kitchen and food storage areas. It's a veritable adventure in every sense of the word, and if you're in the mood for a surreal dining experience complete with unexpected guests and questionable ambiance, this is the place for you. Bon appétit! (Or should I say, bon voyage?) They are missing several food items and condiments.

Waited in drive through for 15 mins with only one car ahead of me. My drink was watered down by the time I got it with most of the ice melted already. Ordered the #11 and noticed a black hair in my chicken sandwich about halfway into it. Upon further inspection the hair was stuck in the grilled chicken patty and was curly. After almost throwing up I went back to the location to notify the manager and the lobby was locked with the lights off. The lobby was dirty and had a table with an open pizza box with crust on it. I Knocked on lobby door and a crew worker came and said they closed the lobby because it was just two of them working. I asked for a manager and and a he called for his other coworker. She then came to the door and I showed her my chicken burger and she offered to make me another sandwich. I explained to her that I was disgusted and had lost my appetite so she then offered my money back. She returned my $8.25, but never said I’m sorry or apologized once. Well this is another reason to not eat fast food and to never eat Jack in the Box again.

Took well over 29 minutes to get my order and to be missing half of my food. Staff takes way to long. Food wasn't even fresh for waiting so long. Then when I try to explain to the employee the food they gave me was wrong after showing her she asked what is wrong with it? I said I ordered chicken strips not nuggets. She said I need the food back. I handed over the nuggets. Then to wait another 9 minutes. Finally I get that bag with my chicken strips and she says is that it? Then laughed. No one was rude with the employees, but this doesn't seem right. I totally get that some places are understaffed, but what ever happened to great customer service? I feel like $70 worth of food for my family is down the drain. I feel bad because they haven't had Jack in the box in years and this experienced ruined it. Management needs to step in and fix the problems with the staff, time and food. Employees need to be praised for their hard work at times as well when they do good.

Not so friendly staff, no smile or greeting. Very clean restaurant, but not a good thing when there's no cold water in the women's restroom. We waited over 10 minutes for our food, my stuffed jalapenos weren't cooked throughly. My grandsons homestyle ranch burger looked nothing like the picture the lettuce was white core pieces, the tomatos need to be cored. Just because I ordered my food for dine In it wasn't wrapped up or in its container. I will not ever order dine in again, I want my food in its wrapping or box so the food doesn't get cold. I don't know if this is a franchise thing, but this isn't right. You are a fastfood restaurant not a full service restaurant. I have never been to a Jack in the box that did this. I will call corporate to find out if this is a normal procedure nowadays. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the hot food and cleanliness. Never ever would I go back.

went yesterday around 1am. no one took my order or the car behind me as well. Jack in the box is a 24 hr restaurant including holidays. IF YOU HAVE A 24HR SIGN UP AND LIT IS IT SHOULD BE 24 HRS. I have been a manager at 3 different jack in the box locations so I know cleaning doesn't start until 3-4am and systems do not reboot until 4am so there should have been absolutely NO reason for the workers on shift to not take order. Not to mention that me and the car behind me were the ONLY cars in the drive thru line. Computers were still up and running cleaning supplies was out. so my only guess was that the workers simply did not feel like doing the job they were hired to. I will be calling the general manager AND district manager because it is unexcepable.

Horrible! Had to make two trips to the store after my initial food purchase. It's purchase, after I got home , unpacked food to find it not being fresh, it was cold, and very greasy. I ordered tacos, egg rolls, burgers No 2 and No 7 (large). All the food was cold but the tacos and egg rolls were very greasy and cold; weren't freshly made. They did not provide me with a receipt. I called the store 3 times with no answer so I drove back to the store. Again got home my food was not any better and the egg rolls were cold as if they came out of the refrigerator, are you kidding me!!! The tacos were cold and burned so I didn't I and could not est the food!

I walked in after placing my order online the prep employee was preparing my tacos with his bare hands I brought up to the manager and she took him to the back he then came back with gloves prepared 15more tacos never gave me my order until I asked the manager what was taking so long if he had enough tacos she then said she was going to wash her hands and put gloves on to bag my tacos the tacos that had been touched by the prep with his bare hands were on the heating unit waiting to be resold I told the manager she then went and talked to another manager and then she threw them away. The managers also didn't have on hats or hair nets I was so disgusted I lost my appetite. Poor food safety when it comes to prep don't eat here.

I love Jack in the box cheap tacos, wish they would put a little more meat in them, and less lettuce. The reason I gave three stars is because at my location at 1604 and Bandera road, Helotes Texas, the building needs some major upkeep. It is a very busy location, but it has been neglected, I'd hate to see them close it. Behind the counter, the lights have no covers, a register credit card machine is broken, half of the menu is missing, just blank. The chairs have lost their wood covering, and pinch to sit in. The floor is clean, the staff is nice, the workload is too much to handle sometimes with the amount of staff they have.

Honestly, we stopped eating Jack in the Box because of all the trouble this location has caused. On several occasions they have closed early or flat out ignored us on the drive thru. On one visit an employee literally said to me "please keep your order under $20 because there are only two of us working right now." Lucky for them it was just me ordering; however, as a business how can you tell people to keep their order under a certain price. What if I was planning on buying food for my family? I'm not sure, but I guarantee we will not be eating here ever again. Don't waste your time and money at this establishment.

This location saved the day. I'm from out of town and went to the Jack in the box by my hotel 3x times unable to get a sausage croissant combo?!! No croissants, then no sausage, then just unable to make it? I went a few miles to this one and on the fourth try got what I wanted. It was great at this location. I wish I had one in Alabama. Hardee's is the only fast food option with fried egg breakfast sandwiches there.

I spent $30 on food here hoping for a quick dinner. There was only 2 cars in front of me and they asked me to park in the parking lot and wait for my food. I waited for at least 20 mins while my baby was with me crying in the car! I finally get home and my food is cold, fries were too salty, and they did not give me the sauce I asked for to go with my food! For as long as I waited, food was not fresh at all! Chicken from the sandwich was tough too. I came to this location a couple months ago and they messed up my order. I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt this time, big mistake! I will NOT be returning to this location ever!

Update: Jan 2022- service was better today. Drive through was speedier and lady at window was courteous. Hopefully this location is getting better. Previous review: I enjoy jack in the box when I need a quick bite. And this busy area is convenient to me when I am running errands. This location has problems with speediness in the drive through especially during peak hours. At lunch time there is a friendly older woman who is courteous but the speed was subpar. In evening time a girl was unhappy and not courteous at all. I would compare her attitude to the unhappy cafeteria ladies when I was in school. Don’t have a problem with food.

I pulled up to drive thru 1- person at window & 3 cars ahead of me to order. After over 15 minutes I finally got to order. I ordered southwest chicken salad. On the screen was some chicken sandwich I told them I wanted a salad no response! I drive to window & girl repeated sandwich order I corrected her & stated I wanted southwest chicken salad- she just sat there with a deer in headlights look on her face & said nothing! I finally said forget it & drove off without food! I think they were doing one Oder at a time which is why our wait was so long. Only one car at a time pulled up to window to pay & get food. This is totally wrong!

We waited 50 minutes in the drive thru line past the time the order was due to be ready in the app. They must have been really short staffed. Once we finally got to the window the employees were still friendly and courteous even though they had to be pretty stressed. There were six more cars in line behind us.

Picked up food through drive thru. Order number #175. On 4/21/20 Was pulled up had to wait , and food was still expired. Put together sloppy Fries were cold and stale. I attempted to call this location. Several times and no one picked up the call. This food tastes awful when it's old. This is why so many jack in the boxes have closed down. Save your money do not support a location. Who will knowingly serve expired food . Save your money for an establishment that follows health codes and cares for their customers. This is the worst experience I've had with out food.

This is the worst fast food location I have ever visited. I loved jack in the box in Ft Worth, but when I moved here several years ago I had to come here. Dirty cooking oil and half cooked stuffed jalapeños. All those black spots on the fries are from old dirty oil. And the peppers were stuck together the entire 2:00 minutes they have to fry so they did not cook properly. Did staff catch this? Nope. Does anyone care? Nope. Don’t come here. People should step up the quality of the food they eat, and the people that cook and serve it to them.

She’s in slippers!!! We have been waiting for our food for 48 minutes now!!! Only for 4 orders of tacos. It doesn’t take this long! Come on! This woman walking around in slippers like she has all this time in the world. And this poor guy at the front counter has been standing at the front counter for over 10 minutes. Bless his soul. Where is the owner to this location? Corporate? Come on!! This store makes Jack In The Box look worse than it is! Update: As I type this we just got our food and it’s not even fresh! WHAAAAT?!? This is service has us shocked.

The last THREE times I’ve been here, they’ve been consistently out of products on the menu or soda in general. Tried to order a burrito? They’re out of tortillas. Want the sriracha burger? They’re out of sriracha sauce. You wanted the combo? Sorry, we are out of curly fries and regular sodas, only diet soda to offer. Not only that, but it wasn’t that busy and it took 25 minutes just to get to the speaker to order. I only write reviews like this when it is a constant problem. Don’t waste your time at this location. I will not be coming back again.

The manager that is on duty this morning is very rude to the customers and to the employee. She has an attitude problem when you're asking for items that you requested before pulling up to the window. She's just gives you a very ugly look and a smart remark to the employee making them feel like they're not doing their job properly and also making me feel uncomfortable as a customer in the Drive-Thru window . Also I'm missing an item that I ordered been calling the location several times within the last hour and nobody is picking up the phone.

This Jack in the box always slow very slow I don't know lack of management. But there is one employee in her personal phone put orders together who knows if she put right stuff in the bag.. That's is very wrong when line of cars goes around and taking at least 15min to 20min drive thru I am very disappointed hope someone upper management will see this post because next step will be corporate office. And evidence of this crew was handling the drive thru. Clean your act and give better service to your customers supporting your business.

I ordered a salad which I admit probably doesn't see much action. But even so, I ordered the southwest chicken salad. The chicken was one whole big piece instead of cut (so I had to gnaw at it from lack of knife), and the corn was FROZEN SOLID. Also asked if they had any low fat or fat free dressing and they said no, so I ordered balsamic. They gave me ranch. So I asked again at the window and they gave me the balsamic (which says on the package low fat lol) but my boyfriend said his sourdough jack was amazing.

Im really aggravated with this store! I've driven to this place since its the closest and I've been coming in the morning betwewn 3am-5am. And ive had different excuses. Rhey either have the grill been "cleaned up at the moment" , "their system is down and been restart for maintenance purposes " "their register is not qorking and cant take any payments at the moment" . You're getting paid to do one job and thats to make money not loose money and be on your phone and have an excuse to not make 1 order.

Food was burnt to a crisp. The worker said there were no churros left, so they gave us cold cheesecake. Which is not a fair replacement for hot churros. The mozzarella sticks where burnt to a crisp as well, yet freezing cold on the inside? That’s confusing and at the most appalling. The service was slow and the food was bad. There should be no correlation between those factors. That will be my first and last time at this jack in the box. I don’t no recommend. EVER. Not even worthy of one star. Yuck.

When my family and I went we were about to order until the person up front said “come to the front” so we drove to the front they asked “what would you like to order” we started ordering and we were interrupted with the BOY up front by saying “we’re out of service” if your out of service why would you leave the place open? Are you trying to get paid extra without caring for others?! Last time I went I had a better experience. Another blonde boy, he was very sweet we got our orders perfect and hot.

It's Jack in the Box, for goodness sake, not club 51! But for fast food this one does well. Almost all my stops are for breakfast, so limit the following comment to the 6am to 9am time: over half the time I am handed a well cooked warm breakfast sandwich, and a non coffee for my coffee. In the past 3 trips my large coffee cup held watered down coffee, stone cold sitting-in-the-pump too long coffee, and today a mildly warm tea with some coffee in it. My bad, should have checked before I drove off.

Dang it! Why did I come here? They continue to mess up orders and they never answer their phone so I can get my order fixed. They are good at charging you money for bad quality customer service and food quality. Please save your money and go somewhere else. NEVER coming back here. I suggest you do the same...... From 3 years ago....Whoa! Very soggy and greasy food here. I know it's a cheeseburger and it's suppose to be greasy... but that was something else. Probably won't go back.

Online says their open, they have their open sign up, the times on the door say till 10. I got in the drive threw line at 9:00pm, at 9:20pm when I finally got to the menu to place my order they guy says “na we’re closing already, that last order was our last” I let him know I was in line for 20 minutes already, he said “yeah we’ve been closing early this week”. Also they don’t have a extra lane so I had to then wait for them to serve the line In front of me to be able to leave.

Orders are rarely quick and more likely they'll get it wrong. Always new employees who seem to want to be anywhere but there and the managers look disinterested and have as poor an attitude as the employees. You can come up with a thousand reasons why this is but ultimately it's a good product that has allowed these stores to stay open and poor service that will keep it as a final choice that you might as well go to rather than you want to go to.

I left my bad feedback directly with the website so going to now return the favor and give them 5 stars for their customer service after a bad experience. Received a call next day from district manager explaining the situation and offered refund with money back. Spoke with the regional manager Leo at this location and he took great care of me and made my food fresh with all the previous missing items. Great job on making me a believer in JITB!

This is the third time I have been to this particular Jack in the box and never fails to make me wait over 20 minutes, get my order wrong and not apologize after I bring it to their attention. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that came out with pink eggs and a hamburger patty, wrong drinks, wrong size fries, wrong kind of nuggets. I understand this is fast food but there has to be a line for what you give someone to eat with their family.

Ashley was very friendly and remembered to put the sweet and sour sauce in with my egg rolls. Unfortunately, neither of my #7's didn't come with any bacon and the curly fries were so burned they were hard and mostly crumbs. (See photo) Wish I could say I'd come back but might have to drive to another location. Sorry, just really was in the mood for my curly fries and these burnt things weren't even curly :(

I hate this jack in the box location. When it is open it seems like one or two people are running the whole place. The website says 24/7 but they close at random times. They leave the drive through light on when it’s closed. The food is horrible also. I just go because it’s close to the house. I hadn’t gone in a while, then I went again. It reminded me why I quit going. I don’t know how it stays open.

We have been here sever times and it has always been a horrible experience. We tried to give it a chance but will not come again. One....they take over 20 minutes every time, 2...they always forget something, 3...the person who takes the order is so rude and wants to rush the order ( I'm sure that's why they get the order wrong). 4...they are rude when you say your missing something. No thank you!!!

Drive thru orders are always tricky here. Either items will be missing or food will be old. Last night's order was the latter. Fries were cold and hard. Burgers tasted as if they too had been sitting for too long. The mini tacos were fresh and great. I never have high expectations for this place so wasn't disappointed.

If I can rate 0 stars I would! For being the northwest side, this is the worst restaurant aside from Popeyes! How do they run out of tacos!!!! Today they were out of fries... I think they just don't want to work. Someone really needs to manage this restaurant correctly. I never had this problem in the south side! Food was always ready and available! Fire everyone and get on Chick-Fil-A's level!!

I work for DoorDash and each time I’ve had to come to this location they take forever to make the food. They claim it’s because there are only 2 of them there and if that truly is the case then management needs to add some more workers to the night shift. I waited over an hour for 3 items, one of which they forgot to put in the bag and I had to go back around to get it. This is ridiculous!

So bad I wanna give this place a 0 but that’s not possible so I give them a 1. Ordered through uber eats and half of my order is missing, got the wrong drink as well. To add salt to the injury, I’ve called them abt 13 times to figure something out and whenever I call, they either don’t answer or they pick up and don’t say anything and then proceed to hang up on me. 10/10 DO NOT recommend.

Staff is great, but it's got to be tough to constantly tell customers we are out of bread for this sandwich, out of onions for this sandwich, out of eggrolls, out of lemonade, etc. Management/ownership ... You have got to do better for your employees and customers.. smh Btw, four stars is for the staff... Everything else....

I always enjoy coming to Jack in the Box!! I wish there were more around. Sadly just like a lot of businesses they are short staffed so unfortunately the drive thru lane does take some time to get through. I truly applauded them for letting me know that they were short staffed and for thanking me for my patience. Thank you Jack in the Box employees for trying your hardest :)

So, I know at the moment there's a whole lot of "social distancing measures" in effect right now. That taken into consideration, I still spent about 15 minutes waiting in the parking lot from the time I was charged until receiving my order. Yes the burger was satisfactory, and the curly fries are awesome, but waiting almost 15 minutes in the parking lot isn't awesome.

Ordered through the app but when I got there they told me they had no record of my order. They had me waiting a very long time and when I showed them my order's confirmation screen on my phone they didn't even apologize for the trouble or for their mistake, just said they'll start making it. When I got the food most of it was cold and the fries seemed stale.

Looking at the reviews I noticed the owner(I think) replying to the reviews. Fantastic! Alot of owners lost that pride in their business. Even with the low star rating this business has the owner still cares. So I'm rating this before I go there. Even if the food is bad... The 5 stars Is for the owner for caring about his/her business and the customers!

I want to give the ONLY GUY WORKING 5 stars, because he was working by himself after he said his only coworker walked out on him, but I’m annoyed that Jack in the Box thinks it’s appropriate to only schedule 2 employees on a Saturday night so they just get 2 stars. Even after this he was still so kind and worked quickly to get our order out!

This is the nearest location to me. I usually like Jack in the Box, as far as fast food burgers go, but this location is bad. Service is slow, seems understaffed and disorganized, and the food often seems over cooked and dry. The diner is poorly cooled, so it's always really hot inside. Drive-thru only, if you have to eat here.

Me and a buddy of mine went there today. It took 10 minutes for them to take our order with no one in front of us. Once we paid, they parked us and we waited another 15 minutes to get our order. When the guy brought out the order he had no idea what was in it. I have never seen a more clueless fast food restaurant in my life.

Looks like the employees gotta bring the ingredients from home or somebody is trying to save a buck. Ordered cheesy bacon wedges and got the saddest portion that has ever been photographed. Hurry up and shut down so something better can take your place. Also your employees are garbage, get some people that want to work

Terrible never fails I'm over Jack in the box it's unhealthy greasy but once in a blue moon it's ok but the service is Terrible the hours are Terrible your paying your employee $8 hr you really can't afford to stay open 24 hrs blows my mind but it's fine tacos palenque is open 24 hrs and was delicious and more Healthy.

I ordered an online order at this location. The order went through . when i went in person to pick up my order no one was there. I waited almost a hour which is ridiculous. I have not received my refund for my order and when i try calling the store no one picks up. The drive through is supposed to be 24hrs.

I got 2 sourdough combos with a coupon for $10.99 for both but when I paid it was $11.79 plus tax that's a 7.28% extra. They told me it was because I paid by credit card. That's absurd! No other restaurant charges extra for using credit card PLUS the credit cards fee should be no more than a 3.5% charge!!!

Major sanitation issues. Cant get an order correct. Employees dont seem to care. How they are still running i dont know. The air conditioning system is filthy. edit: tried this location again. same issues nothing has changed. the managment really needs to step it up. NOBODY here cares about anything.

So incredible slow, I’ve waited 20 minutes before in line at the drive through and once your in line you can’t get out so your stuck. Always budget a lot of time if you really want this food. They are pretty consistently out of things as well.

This is the better jack in the box I have found. Normally I stay away because of how all the others are run but this one was fast and the food was fresh so hot I had to let it cool off. The young men at the window were polite and helpful. I’ll drive the extra distance to come to this one instead.

Ordered tacos and regular fries on the way home from work at about 12:30AM. The tacos made for a decent late night snack. The fries, though!!! WAY too much salt! I don't understand how someone can salt them that much and then serve it up like it is cool. The answer is obvious, of course.

This was the worst experience at Jack in the box we have ever had. The burgers were lacking (all bun and half the ingredients) and the fries were served cold and over done. This is the first time that I have ever had a bad experience at Jack in the box. We will not be going back.EVER!!

Place looks ok. We went through the drive through and our order was wrong. The gentleman was nice though. Food was fresh and hot nicely served I must say. Though wasn't a huge deal they just added bacon which we wanted nothing on it but cheese. Hope next time they get our order right.

Food came out good! However, the service needs improvement. We waited 45min in drive through for simple $10 dollar order. Staffing levels need to be reviewed and management needs to be prepared for calls outs to avoid impact of overall service.
