Ever been to a bar that just feels like home? This is that place for me. I walked in and was blown away by the amount of seating, the pool table in back, the cheap drinks, and the warm atmosphere. The bartender was slinging drinks faster than I've ever seen, along with a side of banter and good cheer. The drinks were great, well made by someone who definitely knows their craft. The other patrons we're all super respectful, cheerful and looked like they were having a great time. Lots of people taking up the daily drink specials! Oh and there's some snacks and such for sale too. I'll definitely be back, between the fantastic vibes, great prices and feels-like-home atmosphere. Cheers!

Visited Saturday August 12th. Bartender ignored me while I was standing at bar asking him for a beer for 15 minutes before last call. I kept asking and asking and he kept ignoring me. At 1 am I asked again, this time he acknowledged me to swear at me about last call. Even though he knew I had been waiting. I understand alcohol can't be served past 1 am, but you can acknowledge me and acknowledge that I had been asking for service for 15 minutes. And swearing at customers is extremely unprofessional. Will not be returning due to this unprofessional bartender. Do not recommend.

We've been there many times and the service is Fantastic! ! Michael is so very curtious and a friendly Bartender and really knows what he's doing.... We always feel so comfortable when we go there. The owner Sunyin is So Friendly too . She always make you feel so appreciated to be there and it always feel like old home week.... A Really fun place to go !! I Recommend it Highly! !!

I have never been to a fiber establishment. I am so grateful for the jackalope, it has contributed to ever positive I have ever associated with Salt Lake City. I trying do not think I have ever been happier than sitting at a booth in the jackalope. The people are kind, my friends friends are kinder. The jackalope is my place of refuge in Salt Lake City any day of the week.

Just been refused service here because I “am from Saudi Arabia with a British accent” . I do have a British accent because I’m from Great Britain. I have a Saudi visa because I have worked there. Do not go to this bar. Clearly they only survive because it a hang out for like minded racist, xenophobic clientele and staff. Honestly, I hope it burns down.

Was in town for a concert. Swung by after. Hit the men’s room. Guy in there called me a homophobic slur three times and I realized he was cutting up cocaine with a knife. Seemed like a cool bar based off Google but that was my 10 minutes inside experience. Got a beer right away though.

Small bar with great staff. $3 Mickeys and a cool atmosphere. Personally my favorite 'dive bar' in salt lake city. Only one pool table but the usual crowd is really good about cycling out and sharing the table. Definitely worth checking out with a small group of friends.

This small bar is a hidden jewel. It is a bar. No food is served here, just cold delicious beer and other drinks like whiskey, tequila and the like. There is a quarter pool table. The bartender was awesome! Drinks are cold, served quickly and cheap! Nothing else needed!

Friendly, cozy, and relaxed are words that come to mind when describing Jackalope Lounge. The bartender from my visit (5/23) was hospitable and accommodating! On your next crawl. Start or finish at Jackalope Lounge. Great location and atmosphere.

Best bar in town for more than a decade, and run by the sweetest lady in the valley. Always something interesting on draft, and sitting at the bar.

My kind of for being an "out of towner". If you like a place to socialize & have a normal conversation without having to yell & repeat yourself, this fits the mold. Definitely plan on coming back here again. Cool staff & patrons.

This bar is so chill I love it! And you can’t beat $5 Miller High Life and Jaeger (or Jim or Fireball if Jaeger’s not your thing). The service is super friendly and the bathrooms are somehow always clean.

Not a bad bar at all, reasonably priced drinks and the staff was very friendly. Nice spot for a quick drink. The only drawback was the TV looked like it had rabbit ears with no signal, not a huge deal.

I am so picky with my margaritas and let's just say they make a "real" margarita and that is soooo hard to find in Utah! We had Amber as a server and she was absolutely amazing!!

19 July 2022: Not military friendly. Liquor prices were great. Locals were aggressive toward military. Female bartender ignored hostilities and catered to the aggressive locals.

I absolutely love this place and if you want to have some great beer for a good price a long with a great social lite/atmosphere. . You better come here and check out!!

Definitely a dive bar. There's a pool table and sports playing on the tvs. Went there on a weekday and there were four other ppl there. Felt kind of intimate lol

Great dive bar. Where else downtown can you find hop rising for $5? Outstanding service and good bar conversation. Much better service than Trolley Wing Co.

We were in town for one night, looking for fun place to watch Super Bowl. We’re not disappointed we stopped into the Jackalope. Thanks Rhett and crew!
