I think I have to stop believing Google reviews. This 4.9 rating is definitely a lie and a HUGE scam. There is no way this place can have this much of a high rating with such horrible service which is extremely slow and the food is so mediocre and average it is unbelievable. First of all, I don't understand why the staff were wearing Jerusalem shawarma shirts. Secondly, they stole the name Jaffa from the real Jaffa Shawarma, which is located in NW Calgary and is a million times better than this. I got a Shawarma and it was breaking and falling apart in the 10-15 minutes we were sitting. Never seen that happen SO quick at any other Shawarma place in the world. The platter presentation was great but it literally took 30 minutes for them to prepare it. Everyone else got their food before that and they were done while the person who ordered the platter was the last one eating. They gave no Pita with the platter, didn't have any small cups to share drinks...gave us tiny Tea cups instead. The list goes on and on. Never seen a front end cashier area so disorganized in my life. My advice...go to the real Jaffa in NW Calgary or go to Jimmy's A&A. Avoid this place!

The food and the service was amazing , this is the best " Jaffa" Jerusalem Shawarma, (Jaffa) located near country hills . I have been here multiple times and it never disappoints, I love this food ! I love this location, it is so new , the staff is so friendly. I tried the Fallafel wrap and it was delicious. Today I ordered the regular Poutine and it too was delicious Thank you! It was my first time trying this restaurant, and omg.. We walked in and were welcomed with sweet authentic hot tea. The quality of the beef in the authentic wrap was mouth watering. You can tell how the beef is of a high-quality standard. It tastes homemade, and I couldn't get enough !! My kids devoured it!! We also were given samples of desert that hit the spot Thank you so much for being near me first of all. This place would have never popped up on my radar but I happened to be on this side of the city and the hubby and I were craving some good Shawarma. Seeing the ratings and everything that's said, we figured we should check it out. They didn't disappoint! You are welcomed immediately by friendly staff and offered a taste of their delicious tea. We were then enticed to sample their baklava and tasty potatoes. So hospitable and kind of them to offer before we even get our order in. We both ordered the Chicken Shawarma that is well portioned and has plenty of chicken. The amazing flavour comes from the unique way they warm the shawarma and trust me it makes this stand out from many others we've tried. If you're in the area or up for a jaunt it is so worth it! We will certainly be back.

The overall food experience was positive. Rice was flavored with some veggies, good quality long grain rice is being used. Salad: lettuce had its crunch and was not wilted, a combination of grated carrots, beets, etc., tastes good. The tangy sauce and the crips on top of salad were a nice add-on. Hummus was perfectly smooth and creamy. Potatoes were the best I have tried so far, full of flavor. The meat: not chewy and excellently flavored so as not to overpower other flavors. The hot sauce was really hot . I will revise after the next visit to see if consistency is maintained. We also bought the Tea, it is awesome.

First time coming to this place and it was amazing! The service and the calibre of the cuisine amazed me. The staff was very helpful and service is top notch. Reda and Mohamed served us and they were great, smiling all the time. My family and I needed a good lunch out, Reda did a great job serving us. He was really kind and courteous to us. Good work! On those days, all we need is optimism, and he definitely has a lot of it. Please do not let him go. Mohammed is energetic and very knowledgeable of the menu. I'm sometimes a picky eater but he made a fantastic Juice and meal recommendation. Great service, and great food. I intend to return soon to have the same amazing experience once more. They also brought tea which was amazing!

I usually don’t eat out much but when I do I’m very picky with where I choose to eat. Today I decided to go to Jaffa Shawarma. I was served by Mohammed and Abdul today, and their customer service is beyond excellent. They were friendly and welcoming as soon as I walked in. They also prepared my food very quick. Their food is also amazing and delicious, I’m pregnant so right now I’m even more picky with what I want to eat. Today I was craving donair/shawarma wrap, and the food I got today totally satisfied my cravings. The atmosphere and place was also very clean which is a plus!! Great job guys!! *I want to also mention they have the best sauces too! You have to get their garlic sauce and hummus!!*

Amazing place! The food itself was fantastic, everything was very well seasoned. they have very generous portions and you can add any sauces that you want (which I highly recommend you do, as they are all delicious). The hummus and garlic sauce are both smooth and fluffy and have incredible flavour. The falafels are the best we’ve tried to this date! Beyond that, though, this place deserves fantastic praise for their customer service alone. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They will give you a fantastic meal at fair price and an incredible experience all in one sitting. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Jaffa Shawarma was amazing! Fun restaurant with quirky booths and lots of food options. They all look amazing! The staff were very hospitable and they gave us free tea and falafel while we waited! I had a mango drink and chicken shawarma and I would go back in a second!

The staff at Jaffa always go above and beyond. My husband lost his wallet outside of the restaurant and they drove to our house just to bring it back! I’ve also watched the staff open doors for women with car seats… next level service! Their food is also superior to any other Shawarma place in the city. The gf and I tried this restaurant out the evening, and ordered the Mixed Shawarma Plate and Lamb Kabob Plate. Amir provided great customer service for our first time here. Our experience with this restaurant was incredible. We got the Arabic Shawerma Platter for 3 and the Bbq Platter for 3 and the quality was amazing, plus the portions were very generous! Such a nice place to eat. Friendly and polite. When we walked in we were given samples of sweet tea and falafel. The tea was delicious and the falafel, one of the best I’ve had. It was so flavourful and crunchy I had to order some to take home. The portion sizes are LARGE! Our take out containers would not close but, we stayed to eat enough and brought the rest home. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely love this place. They give you a ton of food. The mixed platter with beef and chicken is actually too much food for two of us, and it’s a great price. The salad (particularly the pickled cabbage), potatoes, garlic sauce and hummus are especially notable. The service is great too, so friendly. We’re only in Calgary for a week and I will definitely miss this place once we leave.

I had a disappointing experience with a beef donair wrap from this restaurant. The flavour was bland, the presentation was sloppy. It was overpriced for what I received. It doesn’t taste good as I couldn’t eat all of this. I would not recommend it.
