Upon entry I saw all of the cables I had needed... but not wished to pay 90$ for at the time. Others I had never seen, and were pricey. I've been in a few time's, and the owners knowledge and skillset is profound....simply, profound. I had been working on saving an old lapdock collecting dust after my bionic droid had been lost; while I was working toewards a way for it to work, a quick conversation with the owner was all it took to get a satisfactory result. The cord/adapter combo was indeed pricey, but I didn't need to wait until I got it in the mail piece by piece and best of all....it worked so much better. He saved me time, money, and at the end offered to hand make me the cable necessaryto not overload the mini PC I was using. to this day that lapdock runs and I'm scared to have a day where a man this skilled with product inventory as exclusive as his doesn't exist. You're my hero!

My advice would be to call far, far in advance to see if the owner will actually be present and the store will be actually be open. I generally support small businesses. After waiting for the store to open repeatedly, each time coming from the east mountains and calling to no avail, I just bought what I needed from Amazon. I understand health issues and life making other plans, but if you can’t be bothered to hire help, or at the very least inform the public that your hours are fiction, then please don’t expect people to buy anything from you. Bottom line? Stay away and save yourself the trouble.

Took this man a product camera real that he repairs for other people. He told me he could do it. 2 years he had it. Went several times he never fixed it. My wife wen to pick it up. He tells her oh well its the same way as I left it. 2 years??? Really??? Also when my wife as picking mine up another gentleman was having the same issue. Sad thing is I was reffered to him by someone else who us in the same proffesion and his stuff has been fixed several times since mine was in there. Not sure if its a competiton thing? Or a racist thing???

My LG OLED TV lost it's sound, and after hours of frustration, I thought I had to bite the bullet and buy some new HDMI cables. Talked with JAKE, and over the course of 5 minutes, he gave me the one suggestion I hadn't thought of! And, it worked! I didn't buy cables yesterday, but I've done so in the past. And, this great place is my ABSOLUTE go-to place for cables and GREAT customer service! Thanks, big guy!

Friendly, knowledgeable and just the right part that no one else could help me with. I would recommend this place to anybody. Jake took his time to help the customer before me. Then he gave me the personal attention I didn't get at the big box stores. AND he was the only one who had the part I needed and saved the day. I will definitely come back again and again!

Been buying hard to find and just about every other general-use cable from Hallmark for more than 15 years. Jake is a treasure trove of information - need to find an obscure connection for a discontinued NVME SSD? No problems! Jake's been there and done that, and has the t-shirt to prove it! A not-so-hidden gem for Albuquerque's Tech Community.

I Have been dealing with Jake, and the previous owners (Jake bought them out when they retired) for 20 years or so. This should be your first stop when you need an oddball cable, or a good deal on quantity (like cat5 jumpers for a server room). I have also had them make up some custom cables, and never a problem.

I game and stream my game play I was down for two days and after a failed attempt to get a connector for my headset online and hunting all over town I was referred here. Jake took care of me himself and now I have a perfect working custom cable for my gaming thanks for getting me up and running my friend.

I needed a special adaptor for the interface between a power supply and a blood pressure monitor. Didn't have much hope of finding one but decided to give Hallmark a try. In two minutes he came up with the right item at a ridiculously low price. Very happy there is such a place in Albuquerque.

It is now 10 AM and this business is still closed. One of the few places that carries the cables I need, but they can’t seem to make it to work on time. Guess I’ll just start ordering my cables online.. Maybe the owners should think about who they hired to open the store in the mornings.

This place is amazing and unique. A geek's fantasy land. I work with advanced audio and computer setups, and I haven't come across a cable of connector that they don't stock. The owner is super nice, personable and really knows his stuff. I recommend it to everyone in my field.

Wednesday 10:30 and it is still closed. Door says 9-5. Called "this voice mailbox is full". No one likes hobby businesses, if you cant be open when you say... should you even have a business? Find a hobby where people dont depend on you to be open, like painting rocks.

Always super service and Jake is very knowledgeable. Might pay a few bucks more but it's worth it for the quality and supporting a local business. Stop for a sandwich at Relish next door when you're done at Jake's - delicious and you've doubled your local support!

Went there a little after 11am on 11/20/2018. Sign on the door said "closed for lunch". Went to Best Buy and got a USB to SATA cable as well as a 1tb SSD. $150.00 to a chain store because no one could cover the "lunch rush" at Hallmark the cable place.

Showed up at 9:10 on a Friday, not a holiday. Not open even by 9:20. Might be a good business, but if you can't have the discipline to hold to your posted hours, I can't trust you on anything you say about your products.
