A friend of mines told me to try this place if I was looking for authentic Jamaican dishes close to me so I did. I got salmon that was bland almost absolutely no taste just a light smoked flavor, rice and peas that taste like it was cooked in a dirty pot, cabbage which was probably the best part, and a side of rasta pasta that I could have gone without. I tried this place last week so every time I ride pass it I get angry again which is why I'm leaving a review today. Instead of going to Spices I decided to opt for convivence and it was a complete inconvenience. Not to mention the the prices for the small portions. I had more of the dirty pot rice on my tray than anything. This place is a hard NO! Save your money and time

The service was good but the food was not up to par. The jerk chicken was good just a little dry, the rice and peas did have a funny taste, and the pasta just was not good. I looked up the reviews prior to trying them out and saw they were mixed so I decided to give it a shot and try them for myself. I found them on Instagram and saw they are fairly new so I hope they will figure it out. It wasn’t horrible but it was definitely not what I was looking for. If they can get the food to match the service they might have a good thing on their hands. Also a location change could go a long way.

I ordered the Oxtails dinner and I must say my plate was HEAVY HEAVY, fresh and soooo freaking good! I am super picky with food especially ordering thru DoorDash, however my bag was tied, wrapped, taped and was very much tamper free and I can appreciate that so much! I’m still overwhelmed at how much food was on my plate.. I ate some and don’t feel like I made a dent! I most definitely will order again for sure and try the other items as well! Thank you for a pleasant and tasty meal that was much needed!

Hopefully they make it because hey this is America but Not my cup of tea. Definitely won’t be back. I tried the goat and it had a weird flavor for curry. The rice has a weird taste and flavor profile that I don’t like. I spent $20 and threw away the whole box a food after the 2nd bite. Same for the Rasta pasta and the jerk chicken. Even the natural made juice was terrible. They won’t beat me out of my money for a 3rd time. Just because u can sell food don’t mean you should.

I found this place at 904Pop up a few weeks ago, me and my girl have been back twice since! The jerked Salmon and Pasta are AMAZING we are obsessed! Prices are more than fair for the food and custom service has been top notch!

5 stars are for the food quality, tenderness and flavor! 4 stars because it's a food truck and the service was from only one man running and cooking at the same time! Overall a good food truck experience Had the jerk chicken with peas and rice and cabbage. All were delicious

I had their curry chicken yesterday and boy was it good Rice was cooked just right. The chicken juicy and tender. The owner Omar was very nice and attentive to me and my friends. Definitely going back there without a doubt ☺️.

OMG! This food was so good! I had the oxtail and Rasta pasta. It was seasoned to perfection! The portions were huge so you get plenty for your money. This is my new go to for Caribbean food!
