    "NEVER BUY FROM JAMES LANE! They have terrible quality and customer service! I bought a stone table from them and they promised delivery three times and rang on the day saying they couldn’t deliver cause there is no room on the truck even though the delivery date had been booked for weeks! After finally receiving my table it came damaged! Consulted with the service team and they organised for a replacement and again messed me around with delivery for it to then finally come and not make it off the truck as it was damaged again! So final result is for them to collect the original damaged table and when collection came got messed around again as they didn’t inform the delivery people of the size of the table so not enough men came out so now left with a dismantled, damaged table in my dining room! DO NOT BUY FROM JAMES LANE!"

Glad I stopped here before I got done by another major retailer with aggressive sale’s antics, Cherie was most helpful and we never felt the pressure of the other high end retailers with Cherie she was refreshing to meet and made us comfortable. What an asset absolutely no BS straight to the point inviting explanations were great with our questions and when unsure she gave us the time to find out she never put a pitch on and had a guess, please don’t ever let her go James Lane Penrith I’ve found my new furniture store. All your staff are awesome, Penrith store you should be proud of the way your staff treat your clients. One small issue NOT THE STORES FAULT but hey Cherie come straight in so I guess it wasn’t an issue because Cherie didn’t make it one all sorted in about 2 minutes. The quality and service will meet any retailer at the finish line, don’t hesitate to jump on board with these guys, right down to prompt delivery the most polite guys you will meet place your furniture where ever you request them too and a huge range you will furnish your whole house here. Thanks for the pleasant experience we will be back for the rest of our house. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The worst experience with James Lane. I brought a bed and picked it up from the Penrith store, came home to find half the bed was missing and the base of the bed was the wrong size. Called the store and they said they can only email customer service to sort it out and will have to wait to Monday for an answer, called them Monday for an update and said the same thing. I googled the warehouse phone number and spoke to them my self. They told me it can only be delivered a week later or ‘pick it up my self’. James Lane staff customer service is horrible and disgusting in store and at the warehouse. The way they speak to their customers making them feel likes it their fault that the warehouse stuffed the order and not helping or working around the customer to fix up their mistake. Will not shop at James Lane again

. I don’t normally leave reviews but after seeing a lot of negative comments on this company I wanted to share my experience. I went to a few furniture shops to purchase a couch, when I went into James Lane Olga was very helpful and helped me with all my questions. She organised everything with great ease and it was such great service. The 2 guys that dropped off my new couch were very polite and professional. They called me 40 minutes before arriving and they were spot on with there timing. Very professional crew. Will definitely buy from this store again!

Great customer service, Very comfortable buying from here. Mitchel helped me find what I was looking for even over the phone, with honest opinions. I Drove a fair bit even though I have the Bankstown store in close proximity to me. Bankstown store were rude and not bothered to really help. Definitely worth the drive to Penrith to see happy, honest smiling faces. Thanks guys

I've had a really good experience in the PHL store in Penrith. Jo who served me was so honest about the glazing on the beautiful urn I purchased. She is an asset to the team. Ordered my reading chair and had it delivered in the morning as the helpful store assistant predicted. I'm just pleasantly surprised I didn't have to wait at home in the afternoon wondering when it will arrive - thanks guys and thanks to your deliverymen

Reasonably priced, decent quality furniture. Do drop by if your budget is modest but you want better than budget/Ikea/Fantastic quality. I was served by a very friendly gentleman when I was here.

Rude delivery. They were asked to be careful of the sleeping baby in the bassinet next to the bed. Mattress was thrown onto the bed and then just ran off. Wife was left shaken!
