When my father recently passed away I had no idea how to organise a funeral. Their website said they were open 24/7 and arriving home from the hospital at 11.30 pm I really didn't expect an answer, but a lady did indeed answer and took a few details and said a funeral director would ring back in the morning. True to their word someone called me a 9 a.m. I spoke with Kim and arranged to call in later that day. My father had never spoken of his wishes or had even a burial plot pick out, but Kim organised everything - the plot in a cemetery I know he would have liked, the flowers, the hymns, the singer, the cars, the priest, the notice on RIP, how to collect the death cert, the coffin ( which they leave you alone to choose so no pressure to buy the most expensive one). They explain the finances, so no hidden fees at the end. All this was done in a professional but kind manner. They even called the day after the funeral to check that you were satisfied with everything. As I said before when my dad passed it seemed like a daunting task to organise everything especially when you're grieving but thanks to Kim and Jennings Funeral Home they made it all so easy and would have absolutely no hesitation recommending them to others. We chose Jennings Oscar Traynor Road for our mother's funeral last month and we simply couldn't fault the service we received. Having never planned a funeral before and deep in the midst of our grief, the service we received from Brian in particular and the sympathetic and sensitive manner in which he dealt with us was second to none and greatly appreciated by us as a family. The facilities itself on Oscar Traynor Road are beautiful, calm and very peaceful to be in. Brian dealt with everything from the grave plot tonarranging the mass and singers to the flowers and limousines and more. Everything was dealt with so we didn't have to worry about anything. Mam was laid out beautifully. She looked at peace. I mean this in the nicest possible way but i hope we don't have to use Jennings again for a very long time but when the time comes, I would not hesitate to use them again for funeral arrangements or recommend them to others in such sad times. Brian thank you for everything. You were nothing short of brilliant.

We could not recommend Jennings funeral home on Oscar Traynor Road enough. We mainly dealt with Brian and i have to say he is fantastic at his job! He really made us feel at ease. He was polite, courteous and professional. He explained each step very clearly and gave us some excellent advice in regards to details. Our relative did have some particular requests and nothing was a problem. Brian just sorted every detail seamlessly even, if it was the last minute. He gave us the space to process everything in our own minds. He looked after our relative with respect and dignity and it felt as if he gave her as much care as he would his own family or friend. From our very first emotional phone call with Jennings until our final interaction it required very little effort from my family. The whole team in Jennings Coolock made such a difficult time for the family that much easier. They took the lead on everything and left very little for the family to arrange. They're true professionals and really made the family feel at ease. The celebrant Gearoid held a wonderful and very personal service. He was open to what ever the family required and offered helpful suggestions. A big thanks to Liza and Brian in particular who were extremely helpful, thoughtful and somehow made us laugh throughout. From the moment we placed a call at 10.30 p.m. the night our beloved mother died we received a prompt, compassionate response to every question and concern. Brian himself called the following morning to introduce himself and began the arrangements immediately. The facility was immaculate and welcoming. Drivers and cars were a very high standard. All other vendors were faultless too. During an emotionally sad time, it was extremely helpful to have everything to do with the funeral managed from one point of contact. We felt in safe, knowledgeable and caring hands throughout the entire funeral process.

The morning after my Dad passed away I contacted three seperate funeral directors, I had never planned a funeral before so I hadn't a clue where to start. Brian took my call in Jennings, and I instantly got a great feeling about him. He was incredibly kind, very genuine and reassuring. He helped our family make every decision and made the whole process effortless. He was straight up about the financial end of things, there were no hidden costs. Lisa and Brian who dealt with the family, are highly professional, sympathetic and provided us with many options and alternatives.
