I’m hoping this was all just a misunderstanding and I wish I could have actually gotten a chance to eat here and enjoy the atmosphere all the other comments speak about. I’m from the US and my phone was dead so I thought I’d come in for a drink and a bite and maybe I’d be able to charge my phone or just ask if I can call my ride so they would know where I was. So I went in and asked the lady there (not sure if this is Jenny or not) if I could charge my phone enough just to make the phone call. She told me no. And I asked if her concern was that I was going to sit there. I understand businesses being worried about nobody buying anything but I intended on being a paying customer anyway and she just kept telling me no and to ask the guy next door. I’m hoping she thought I was saying I was trying to buy a charger and that’s why she kept directing me next door to the cellphone shop because I can’t imagine why she’d want me to be completely stuck on Dundas, nearing nightfall, without a way home or a way to call a ride. At any rate the cell phone shop next door let me charge my phone and I did that and just ended up waiting for my ride and going straight home. I’m disappointed because this might have been a good place to check out and revisit when I come back to Toronto but I hate that that experience sort of left a bad taste in my mouth.

Favourite local hole-in-the-wall pub! Jenny is an amazing women and dedicates herself to amazing service. Excellent price for drinks. There is a jukebox so you can play great music to amuse your friends. Great cozy local feel with some regulars and a chalk board wall where you can write your name or messages. Jenny's also has a couple games, like Go, which you can play with your friends or try to defeat the unbeatable Jenny herself. There are also TVs there so you can watch sports.

Such a great little gem of a place. JENNY is the cutest thing in the world. The prices were the best I've ever had in Toronto. The bathrooms you would worry about based on location but when you get down there its a actually not bad at all. She only offers a small variety of food so outside food is allowed which is awesome. She has 2 big screen tvs Great music No credit but you shouldn't be at a bar if you need to use credit anyways. Check it out for yourself!!

There is an intangible vibe about Jenny's that comes from the owner herself. She is one of the purest souls imaginable and that seeps from the service onto the bar's walls themselves. Her energy is positivity and love and that's why the locals are absolutely under her spell. As a result i've had many entertaining encounters and games of crib with people I hardly know. I'm proud to be one of said locals.

Jenny is delightful, and her bar is welcoming and lovely. I'm not sure if food is served here, but i want to give this pIace full stars regardless. I definitely recommend coming here, especially if you're a commuter at Dundas West or the UP looking for a quick drink, like I sometimes find myself. Jenny is a sweetheart, so come by her bar!

The lady Jenny that served me was very nice and polite and very upbeat it was good, the guests were very friendly and we had fun playing some music on the jukebox. They have these cool writings and poems on the wall which I saw and thought was really interesting.

This is By Far the Best version of Cheers,that I have seen here in Toronto,I arrived in the summer of 1969 with a few close Buddies,as we all wanted to see the New CN Tower! We weren't disappointed as ,Saskatchewan was our home and Regina our Capital! Great memories abound from our Prairie life ! That's something for the Archives !!

One of the best places if you just want to chill with a few friends, or take some time out with just yourself. Jenny is an amazing and welcoming person, the place is calm and relaxing. I’ve become a regular. Also, definitely try the fried dumplings along with your drinks. 10/10, Highly recommended.

My favourite bar in the world. Jenny is the best: an infectiously warm and generous host who makes you feel right at home in this supremely cozy & comfortable space. Cheap drinks, dumplings, and a jukebox! Also make sure to ask for the cribbage board Jenny keeps behind the bar should you wish to play at any hour.

Jenny is the sweetest lady on planet earth. A gift to this world, seriously. My friends and I stayed at an Airbnb down the street and stopped by on a whim our second night, ended up coming here every night of the trip for at least one drink and a song on the jukebox. Such a warm, wonderful spot <3

Nice place hosted by Jenny. Has a regulars crowd, who are great 'working class' real characters from the neighbourhood. Food is limited, but you are good to bring your own, as Jenny is solo. Small w. TV's, music is the norm. Open windows give a patio feel. Good place to hang.

We had a great time at Jenny’s last night. The bar is very cozy and has a great neighbourhood vibe. If you are ever in the Junction, I would highly recommend it. Jenny is sure to make you feel welcome. The jukebox with its quirky musical selections is a true party starter!

My fiancé was visiting Canada and the bartender wouldn’t let her charge her phone. She was waiting for her ride so she could get home. Offered to buy something if that was the issue so she could charge her phone Bartender gave her a lame ass excuse.

Met Jenny!! Her dumplings are plump and juicy Mmmm! Price is totally reasonable! You can chill and play a game of cribbage while your enjoying a beer and dumplings! Thanks for the pit stop it was definitely worth it …

I stopped by due to previous comments and thought I'd check it out. I've been in Toronto 4 months and checked many bars. This is by far the most friendly. I had a fantastic evening and will definitely be visiting again.

Cheap beer, and great service from Jenny. Everyone here was friendly, this is a great place to meet new people. But try to avoid the bathroom haha.

Just an absolutely fantastic dive bar in every possible way. Unpretentious, cold beer. Jenny herself is a sweetheart who remembers her guests and makes them feel at home. Just relax, come here and have a drink.

Jenny's is a great little hole in the wall pub, cheapeat prices in the area and an interesting eclectic crowd. Jenny herself is the barkeep and is always welcoming and engaging.

Almost no food. Only cash or debit. Almost always music over any sporting event. Otherwise a cozy place, with earthy people.

Proprietress is great. Wonderful and gracious. Lovely little pub and eatery without the nonsense of some many establishments
