I have been seeing Jenny Li for a number of years now, primarily for sports related issues but also for other issues that have come up that impacted my ability to live a more active and healthy lifestyle. I could only describe her expertise and treatment work as excellent and the outcomes I have seen have been nothing short of life changes. To give a specific example, I had suffered with groin pain while playing hockey for years and I had resigned myself to that just being the status quo for the rest of my life. I had already been seeing Jenny Li for other issues so decided to discuss the groin issue to see if there was anything that could be done to limit the pain I was having or to devise some strategies so that I could continue doing the activities I enjoy but with a reduced capacity. After a few active physio appointments and a month or two of at home exercises not only was my pain eliminated, but my mobility in those joints was restored back to where it was 15+ years ago. Jenny Li is an excellent care provider who I intend to see as I develop new or old issues. She is attentive, listens, and really takes the time to understand the activities and issues that I am having. She is also just great to have casual conversations while trying to distract your mind from some uncomfortable massage/needing working :D. I could not recommend any physiotherapist higher than her if your trying to achieve and maintain an active lifestyle.

I saw Jenny to treat back and hip pain that was impeding my ability to move and walk at times. It took a few sessions to figure out what exactly was going on with my back, but once Jenny nailed it down the exercises and therapy she provided fixed me up quickly! (I had a back x-ray done at the request of my family Dr after my last session with Jenny, just to rule out any other issues and the x-ray showed that I have compressed L4 and L5, which was exactly what Jenny determined was the cause of my pain without any x-ray!) I love the app that Jenny uses, I can never remember all the exercises and techniques that are talked about, so the personalized app with video instructions were perfect for me. Jenny was always running on time, which made squeezing appointments in over my lunch hour a breeze. Lots of parking on the street, the parking lot for the complex is a bit tight and usually full as there are a few business in the same building. An added bonus is that Velvet cafe is next door and they have delicious sandwiches and coffee!

Jenny is far and away the most experienced Physiotherapist I've had the pleasure of receiving treatment from. I was really struggling with chronic high hamstring tendonitis which developed after another physio misdiagnosed a hamstring tear. She was able to get me back on track with a very focused approach that restored the strength in my hamstring and from there we have been able to bring the pain from the tendonitis way down and I expect it will be fully healed very soon. Jenny's background and training from the UK have proven to be a huge asset in my recovery. One of the best things about her treatment is that she offers an app on your smartphone that has all the exercises that she wants you to do at home. The app provides reminders and video tutorials which are very helpful with the homework. Speaking of which, do the homework! I am very grateful to my massage therapist for recommending that I see Jenny and getting me back in action. I am also very grateful Jenny takes on weekend appointments.

I couldn't believe it, the first time I visited Jenny. I had been dealing with chronic low back pain for years, throwing it out several times. I had tried chiropractor and acupuncture, and although both made me feel a little better, I walked into Jenny's office unable to reach down to my knees without horrible pain in my back. Within 10 minutes (no joke... 50 reps of an exercise she helped me with), I was able to touch the ground with no pain. Jenny gave me several exercises to do and the schedule to do them, and over the following few weeks I was back to 100%. In my last appointment, we finished early as my back is back to normal, so I tossed out a shoulder mobility problem I've had for as long as I can remember. She tried a few exercises with me, and AGAIN, within 10 minutes, I had full mobility back in my shoulder. The Mckenzie Method is no joke, it managed to sort out long term chronic problems I have had in less time than it takes to eat dinner.

I was really stressed out and worried I'd done myself in. I reached out to my friends for referral and couldn't believe my luck when I was recommended Jenny! She was very supportive and able to fit me in on short notice (although it wasn't easy) and get me back to work within the time I needed. She's so knowledgeable and comes with a load of experience, she's always finding the right spots and then some, taking the time to work the knots out. She also provides suggestions to prevent more issues and improve yourself. She provided me with a link to a PhysioApp I can use to prompt me to excercise and displays the correct posture and actions. I wished I'd done this for myself earlier to avoid the emergency, but now I know the signs, and have my go to Physio/massage therapist. She's the best!

Jenny was fantastic with how she helped me. I suffered a hockey injury leading to bursitis and an inflammation in my supraspinatus (shoulder & back) which caused severe pain, no strength, and decreased mobility & range of motion. It was so bad I couldn't play hockey, walking caused shooting pain, and I could not sit and be comfortable. I noticed an incredible difference after the first couple treatments and after a summer of following her program and regular visits, I am back to hockey and everything else I enjoyed without doubling over in pain. She has given me the tools and exercises I need to maintain this recovery and mitigate the possibility of a future flare-up. I still plan to visit monthly for a while for minor tune-ups and to ensure that I am doing the right things to keep my shoulder limber and pain free. Thanks Jenny!!

I have gone to see Jenny for a variety of different issues. It has been issues with my shoulders (bursitis) and elbow tendinosis. One thing I can say is Jenny spends time manual working on the areas, does some ultrasound if needed. I have been to other physiotherapists and they have just put you on a machine and show you a few exercises. Jenny has always spent more time with you and the issues that really need the work. You are still given some exercises, but Jenny definitely spends the full 45 minutes working on those areas that need care. I recommend Jenny to anyone who has issues and she will always be my go to before any other clinic (believe me I have been to a different clinics) as they have just put a bandage on the problem instead of actual spending the time to work on the issue.

I cannot stress enough how amazing Jenny is. I've always been a very active person but hit a wall of pain that completely altered my workout routine and lifestyle earlier this year - I could no longer workout, lift anything...even sleeping was painful. My doctor wanted to give me cortisone shots but Jenny really encouraged me to avoid those and to find the root cause of the pain. I had very little hope that things could change and the process was slow, but after 10 months I am virtually pain free, back at the gym and sleeping normally. I would highly recommend Jenny to anyone but you have to take responsibility and do the exercises she recommends (which can be time consuming) but totally worth it.

Jenny is very knowledgeable and helped me rehab my broken wrist, after the cast came off my surgeon gave a prognosis of 90% mobility return! Well w Jenny’s help and exercise regime (very helpful video app that demonstrates the movements) I am happy to report a 98% mobility in my wrist! Jenny has also helped me my recent diagnosis of osteoporosis which is daunting but she explained the importance of specific exercises to help me strengthen my body to cope with the changes of getting older. I would highly recommend her services which are very professional and I felt very safe with all the COVID protocols in place.

I've had great experiences working with Jenny over several years for a number of different short-term and long-term musculoskeletal injuries. She helped me with chronic neck and back pain, recover from a fall on ice, and most recently, to recover from a concussion. I've done in-person appointments and due to COVID, appointments via Telehealth, and she is excellent over both types of appointments. She gives you a tailored set of take-home exercises, modified and updated after every appointment; if you do them, you will make incredible progress!

Jenny is a phenomenal Physiotherapist. She ensures that she addresses your issue, not just treats your symptoms. I had been living with chronic neck/back pain for almost a decade and had seen multiple physiotherapists previously where the pain would get better but only temporarily. I have seen Jenny for a few years now. Initially, it was for a whiplash neck injury due to a car accident. Jenny's technique is gentle and highly effective and makes me feel much better each visit. She has helped with injuries such as ankle sprains and arm injury from a fall, as well as neck and shoulder stiffness from stress and desk job. Jenny is the best physiotherapist I've seen so far. I highly recommend her treatment services.

Jenny is no non sense and here to help you get better. Once we reached a point where she thought I could handle things on my own she let me know, instead of continuing to book appointments. She really was able to get my shoulder and elbow working better again and hopefully I can keep myself on track now. I’ve been coming to Jenny for over 3 years now. Jenny is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. She really helped with my back and neck issues developed though sitting too much in office. I do have to keep up with my exercises to stay pain free unfortunately, but I don’t think there is other ways. I highly recommend Jenny.
