love this place! we have always been frequent comers to the south common location, but recently found out about a new one much closer to home. of course, i would be willing to drive 20 minutes just to get a taste of this restaurant, but this is so much better! the place is BEAUTIFUL! (i didn’t get many pictures of the building, but too bad i guess) all of your food is made fresh. they have a buffet style selection of toppings/ingredients for stuff like wraps, bowls and etc. you are also offered tea for free, and it tastes very nice (in my opinion!) i was also offered falafel for free (it was fresh and it tasted amazing) i usually order basic stuff off of the menu (a simple rice bowl, garlic potatoes) but they have a lot of delicious options that i have tried! their drink selection is great too, ranging from common companies, to their own brand and other soft drinks! the staff are simply amazing! they are great to talk to, and will always give you a reason to smile or laugh. we didn’t get to dine in, but if you have the time, please do! the place is absolutely beautifully done. i would love to just take it all in on one afternoon. love to see this restaurant grow! thank you for everything!

We went into the Windermere location for lunch a few months ago, since we live in the area and had heard that the food was amazing and the service was excellent as well. We were not disappointed. We had a delicious lunch and everyone was very friendly. The portions were a good size and we had some leftovers to take home. We enjoyed the experience and the food that we decided to place a catering order for delivery for our daughter’s birthday lunch at our home last weekend. The service I received from Sana and everyone I dealt with was amazing and when I called in to confirm the order the morning of delivery Sana assured me that everything was good to go as I had placed the order a few weeks prior I had wanted to check in. My daughter really enjoyed the complimentary baklava Sana gave her, when we went in to pay for the catering order. It made her day. The delivery was on time and our guests really enjoyed the food and would not stop raving about how delicious all the dishes were. We ordered BBQ for 30 and Veggie for 5. We had some leftovers that we enjoyed that evening for dinner. We will of course be going back.Thank you for the great service.

I’ve had Jerusalem Shawarma at each of their locations and the food is always phenomenal and the service is always amazing. Abo Elabd was so kind when we opened the door, he immediately gave us refreshments and dessert, and the new restaurant is just so lovely. Abdul was so sweet when giving us and making our food, even when it was so so busy inside and the pressure was high! (I didn’t get to give you a big enough thank you for the extra garlic sauce — but thank you so much!) Overall all the staff is always so kind, inviting, and smiling. If you’re looking for Shawarma, this is without a doubt the best place in the city! I couldn’t recommend this place more! The variety of food, refreshments, and desserts is top tier, and the quality is just unbeatable. There’s even Vegan/Vegetarian options which is amazing for my mom. Thank you for always treating us so kind!

We had the best dining experience at the newly opened Jerusalem Shawarma restaurant in Windermere. The food was very delicious; it arrived shortly after we ordered and was all freshly made. What made this experience incredible & outstanding was the friendly and warm greetings, hospitality and grace of Abo Elabd. He welcomed us with the biggest smile and served us several rounds of complimentary tea and plates of delicious Bakalava. Great shopping center, having Jerusalem shawarma at that plaza will definitely drive up a lot of traffic and will add up value to the plaza. Their grand opening was last Thursday, and it was packed, and the lineup was all around the building, this tells you how great they are. The food is super good and fresh. You can see the food process step by step while waiting on the line. They are so fast and professional. I have never seen such an amazing service in Edmonton. There is a guy with a traditional outfit. His only position is to welcome you with a warm smile and give you a free delicious baklava along with a cup of tea. Those guys are the best, and they will change the game of shawarma forever. I differently will recommend everyone to give it a try, and trust me, your money is invested in the right place.

We ordered the Shawarma mix family platter for 4. It's was very good food, tasty and good portion enough for 5 people actually! It came with chicken, beef, rice, salad, potatoes, garlic sauce, hummus & pita bread. Love the staff, super friendly, warm and nice! Great atmosphere and space. Highly recommend it! A wonderful place! We went for the 50% off all items day, and the service was impeccable. Although the wait for the food was quite long, it’s not their fault as they were so busy! The food was a bit inconsistent compared to the south common location, as the rice was less flavourful and more pale than the south Edmonton location. The garlic sauce was also less flavourful but we assumed it was because of the high demand. They still served free lemonade, baklava, and tea to those waiting in line to order or waiting for their food which was consistent with their other location. Overall, it’s still a great place to go to!

Good location and parking. Very friendly staff. Very large seating area. Need more people cleaning the tables; the one poor guy was busy running around by himself the entire time we were there, it would be nice if he had some help. Had a lot of issues with our order in terms of missing items. Lack of communication between cashier and those completing orders. They forgot to make one of our plates and had to wait an additional 15minutes for that to be completed. So happy of this location near our house. Abo Elabd is an amazing host and very friendly. He took care of everything. We keep coming here as it’s near our house. Now the new amazing host Abdellah that treat us well and I am so happy that he speaks French.

Go here!!! So good and good prices. My partner and I can even share a jumbo wrap together. It's SO TASTY. Their falafel is flavourful and crunchy. Their sauces are . The only thing is that their fries aren't my favorite..nonetheless, you're guaranteed to have a good meal here. The staff is super nice and fast when making your order (with just the right amount of sass). They also do platters which would be great for company lunches or other events. You can also buy tubs of hummus.

Tries this place yesterday. 10/10 experience! The place smells good and is kept neat and clean. This was my first time coming here as I live close by and was very excited for a new place to open in Windermere. I gotten the BBQ mixed plate and couldn't stop eating. It was fast and delicious. We were given hot tea and chocolate covered strawberries for free while we waited for our food. The juices are exactly that! Pure fruit juice! Worth it! They were amazing also. Highly recommended! Sometimes I get suspicious when restaurants have really good reviews, like it seems too good to be true . Let me reassure you that the reviews here are legit! Update : ordered take out and both food items turned out to be disappointing, the shawarma wrap was burnt and falafel plate was tasteless to say the least. I grabbed the platter for three and was able to feed a family of 5 with alot of leftovers. Theirs so much variety and bang for your buck. My favourite parts were the garlic sauce,hummus, crunchy bits in the salad and the beef, but it comes with so much variety. There's chicken, beef, countless pickled veggies, potatoes, rice. Alot of options to eat from. Second time I had the beef wrap and it was good. Light, pita was thin, used a yogurt as a dipping sauce. Fries were old school costco style.

Went for the first time and I can definitely say this place lives up to its hype. The food was amazing, tried a lot of things and there wasn’t one thing that I didn’t like. Everything was 10/10, quality, portions. Even better than their food was their costumer service, it was very busy when I went and they still gave amazing service, I asked for extra hummus and the guy happily put extra hummus in my plate. This was our first time trying this location previously having gone to South Common. This location is definitely smaller but we found the atmosphere just as nice. The food was just as delicious and we really appreciated the free tea and baklava given. We did have to wait a really long time for the lamb which was a bit frustrating since so many other people that arrived after us got their food first so probably wouldn't order a lamb dish again.

Everything was bad. The tables were dirty, no one greeted us and customer service was at its worst, while you always expect in middle eastern places a friendly vibe! The chicken on the shawerma bowl was dry and tasted really bad. The lamb chops were almost tasteless. There were just bunch of guys cleaning and not caring about customer service. I wanted to bring family here, as it has a really nice and big environment, but it won't happen.
