I recently had the pleasure of going to Jessie for a haircut. From the moment I completed my new client form to leaving her studio space I was beaming with excitement. Jessie has a thorough initial consultation where you share photos of your current hair, photos of haircuts/styles you like and info on your current lifestyle and routine. As a busy mom this is key to have a style that works for my hair, looks good and fits my current lifestyle. When arriving to her studio space we had an in person consult about my hair and then she started her work - the appointment started with an oil scalp/head massage!! She recommended adding a bond rebuilder as my hair was dry. She was very upfront about the price of the add-on, total cost for both services and asked if I’d like to add it or not. No worrying about ‘how much is this going to cost’. During the haircut she had me stand to cut the length just right and her cut was quick but very precise. When it came time to blow dry she had me bring my Dyson airwrap and show her how I’d style my hair, then she gave me tips on how to maximize volume…how practical!!! She finished off the service by styling my hair all while sipping on a Nespresso. It was a great experience I can’t wait to go back and I’ve been raving about her ever since. Also, a week later I got a thank you card in the mail with a sample of shampoo and a referral card. If this review has convinced you to see Jessie let her know you won’t regret it

I have been going to Jessie for several years now. I have crazy-to-deal with curly hair and finding someone to trust with it isn’t easy. Jessie knows how to cut curly hair which is a big deal considering how many stylists have told me they could, only for me to find out they actually don’t. She is also really good about answering my questions and offering her opinions on what I am looking for. When I first started seeing her I told her my goal was to grow my hair long again after several years of bad experiences. With her help (including some strategic cuts in the early days and regular trims) my hair is longer and healthier than it has been in years. I completely trust her with my hair and my style and I’m happy to have found her! Ok - my hair isn’t curly in the pics, but trust me, she’s awesome!

Full disclosure: I hadn't been to a salon in almost a year. With COVID and working from home, it had been a mix of not feeling comfortable and just not really worried about what my hair looked like when I barely saw anyone. Seeing Jessie and having her take the time to help me pick a cut that would look good as it grew out and suited me, plus looking so cute when she styled it at the end of the appointment made me feel great, and was just what I needed! Plus I just love her salon space and it feels so cozy and private. I don't live in Calgary but I'll always go out of my way to try and see Jessie whenever we're in town. I can't recommend her enough! PS no colour today, but she totally rocks blondes when she does my highlights.

Jessie is a hair goddess! There is a reason why I continue to go see her even after making the move to Edmonton. She is professional, listens to what her clients wants and takes really good care of them throughout the appointment. She always achieves the perfect colour and cut for me based on the Pinterest photo I show. It is always hard to achieve an ashy blonde look on darker hair. The fact that she nails it each time without it being orange, brassy or dried out makes her a magician. I highly recommend Jessie for all of your hair needs!

Jessie is incredibly talented at what she does. For years she’s the only person I have trusted to cut my curls. The salon is welcoming and cozy, and she makes you feel safe talking about any concerns you may have around hair and scalp health or general styling knowledge. I would absolutely recommend you get on her books and experience for yourself!

Jessie’s salon was very professional looking and comfortable. The coffee was a great touch. Her services were excellent and I walked away with exactly what I wanted.
