I do not leave a lot of negative comments about places or products but when I do it is because it is absolutely obnoxious and unbelievable negative experience. A sandwich was ordered for delay delivery (for the next day) to a corporate building. There were instructions on who would pick it up and also the buyer's name. The courier called and told me he would be there in a minute. I send a person down. About eight minutes later of calling back and forth with the person waiting downstairs I finally tell her to come back up. I call the courier and he already delivered the sandwich to someone name "Brittany or something"- not even close. I told him he gave the sandwich to the wrong person and his reply was "Well, when I told you I was going to be there in a minute I really meant it." So apparently it is my fault since I could not get down into the lobby quick enough. He continued to argue with me and I hung up and called the manager. The manager didn't seem like he wanted to be annoyed with complaints and was not listening when I had to repeatedly correct him with names and addresses. When the courier called again he had an attitude and argued with me AGAIN! Called the manager to let me know what happened, again, and he seemed to be not happy to hear from me again and wanted this conversation over. This "be there in one minute" thing turned into 30 minutes of debacle and wasted time. Not ok.

One star because Jimmy Johns is supposed to be "FREAKY FAST" but i waited over an hour for delivery only to be told "We don't deliver to that area" Why isn't that on the website? Why was I charged? Not to mention that the driver was completely incompetent. Couldn't follow simple directions and when trying to instruct him in the most respectful way possible he hung up on me and stopped answering my calls instead of answering and telling me they don't deliver in this area. Which is literally a 3 minute drive from the freaking store. I ordered online because I can't leave for lunch. I ate NOTHING so THANKS. Even after calling the store, they didn't communicate the fact that THEY DON'T DELIVER TO A BUILDING THAT IS 3 MINUTES AWAY! Same zip code and all. Shame on you Jimmy John's south tryon employees. I will not order from this location ever again! Booooooo.

Very unpleasant experience! I was greeted as if I'm disturbing the employees. I asked for a #15 combo w/ bacon. Then I was asked again, then asked again by another associate, then....you guessed it, asked again to be charged $17.00 for this lunch. I asked the young lady, how much was the combo she told $12 and some change which I thought was a bit high to add some cold bacon!? Then I get a cup slammed on the counter in front of me?? Bottom-Line here I have been to this location about 4 times and honestly feel as though the associates their are NEVER focused on the customers or customer service. Thanks you!

This place is to be avoided. The past few times I have ordered the food takes around an hour to get here...freaky fast, more like freaky slow. I will just get off my butt and walk to subway or jersey mikes if I really want a sandwich...I could be there, eat, go get a coffee and still be back quicker than it would take my one sandwich to arrive. Tack on the extra $3.00 for a delivery fee and their awful customer service when you go in person...I gave them a second chance after they kept leaving my food at the front desk(unmanned..just an empty desk that they thought "I should leave food here") but I wont be giving a third.

Can I get a #17 with cheese?! Yum! These are just great sandwiches. I wish the place were a tad bigger. Of course at lunch time it's tough to squeeze by to get to the cash register to order sneaking past the people waiting on their sandwiches. There is absolutely no seating here. This is a pick up and go location. I also wish I didn't see the crazy bike delivery guys come close to mowing people over on the street while out on their runs. I do think they're getting better in the latter department, but still more work to do imo. Anyways.. grab a sandwich and go find someplace outside to eat. Enjoy

called to ask for delivery validation, was told they delivered to my business, advised ill call back and view menu to place order, called back to attempt to place order was told didnt deliver to my location but would still honor his word- 40 mins later called back to check status on the order being as though they typically deliver fast, the man who answered very rudely stated we just couldnt come bc we dont deliver to that address and basically oh well maam... being a business owner find a better way to communicate and correct the mistakes... i will no longer do business with your company

Delivery guy had no change for a $20 on an $11 cash order. He just grabbed the $20, turned around and began to walk off like he earned it. I stopped him and asked for change. He offered to take the sandwich with him while he returned to the store to get change. Uh. No! Not with that entitled attitude would I trust the sandwich when he returned. So I told him to keep it and enjoy a big tip (I was tired and didn’t want to deal with this any more). Add in the soggy lettuce, and this is the last time I shop at this location. The one plus is that they were sorta fast.

Food is delicious but the workers have a bad attitude and give off bad vibes. Lady did not read ticket number correctly and then proceeded got an attitude with me when I didn't understand. She read the number of the sandwich on menu - not ticket number. I'm not a common customer to Jimmy Johns so I don't know sandwich number off top of my head. Y'all need some grace in your attitude please.

Walked in and there was nobody in the front of the shop. I could hear a video playing in the back room so after a few minutes of waiting I shouted “Hello?” after the third time asking if anyone was there, I called the shop. Stood there and watched the phone ring, nobody came out. At this point I almost walked back there to see if someone was passed out on the floor. After the fourth shout, a girl finally came out and just asked what i wanted to order. My sandwich had the least amount of meat i’ve ever seen on a sub.

Purchased a sub around 2p. No one greeted me everyone look so annoyed they have to do their job! Cashier was very rude and rushed me taking my order. Was talking to the other employees while I’m ordering my food. Got a combo and all the sodas was flat. Sub was rushed made. This location looks very dirty. I will never return. This location is located in a high volume area clearly they just hiring bodies

Let's just say best service ever ;) we were at the Charlotte Convention center and didn't know our way around and Tiffany actually rode her bike to us to help us get to the restaurant best service ever i highly recommend this Jimmy John's on s Tyron street in Charlotte and meeting a new friend is a blessing Thanks again for the best service .

The service today was terrible! I ordered expecting it to be freaky fast but it was freaking slow!!! 53 minutes passed before my order was delivered this is after I called An was told to expect it I’m 10 minutes after having already waited 15 minutes. I feel like management needs to look into this issue and address it. I was given 1 hour 15 minutes today during a class for a lunch break and had to rudely eat during my speakers presentation due to the service.

Received a random call asking if my sandwich had been delivered yet, it was maybe 20 minutes after I ordered it for delivery. I told them I hadn't received it and the employee told me they would make me one fresh and get it to me ASAP, after about 5 minutes from the call, it was delivered. Another 10 minutes go by and the fresh one was delivered, the driver told me they made me another one and added free chips and a cookie. Great customer service!

Don’t order delivery - waited an hour, called, said on their way… waited 3 hours.. never got it. No call/message or refund, just never delivered. I was 3 blocks from the store but trapped at work.. so that sucked. On-site ordered food is ok - I’ve had better jimmy John food, but I’ve def had worse from other stores. Will totally go back. This location turned a potentially negative situation into a very positive one. The delivery took about ~45 mins, but when I called in, they explained that they got hit with a rush of orders, and offered me a free sandwich the next time. The driver even offered to bring a fresher sandwich back if mine was at all soggy from the longer travel time. Really appreciate them going the extra mile to guarantee a positive experience.

This store us so very clean the aroma was freshly cooked bread and fresh condiments and meat...The staff was awesome building my #9 to my specifications just wonderful I was in and out in less than 5 minutes so fast I thought I forgot something

I had not ordered a delivery lunch from Jimmy John's before, and I made a mistake on part of the order resulting in a large additional expense. I was so pleasantly surprised that the manager, Abby, worked with me and allowed me to void the part of the order we did not need so we could avoid the expense and waste. Incredible customer service! Can't thank Abby enough :)

Went to Charlotte to take a visit. Stopped at Jimmy John to get some food. We ordered our food getting ready to pay. The workers tell us they don't accept $50, only credit or debit. They didn't even have a note on the door before entering saying anything about they don't accept $50. We only had cash! No debit or credit cards! We just went somewhere else to eat.

We ordered catering and our lunch was late by over an hour. Items were not prepared accurately. For example items ordered with no cheese had cheese, items with added ingredients were missing those. Sandwiches weren’t evenly cut so some people ended up with tiny quarter sandwiches. Terrible service and poor attention to detail. Won’t cater from here again.

Their bread is good, but they are so cheap with the amount of meat they give you. They go crazy heavy on the lettuce though. I feel like I'm eating a lettuce sandwich with a thin strip of meat on it. You have to order extra meat for it to be a real lunch. But true to their word they do put those sandwiches together freaky fast.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR CATERING. Go to Newk's or other areas for catering in town. As you can see from other reviews they all relate to delivery. TWO DAYS IN A ROW they messed up the order and were late. They delivered the wrong items or not at all. I ordered $37 worth of water and they forgot it in the order.

Omg when I tell the worst ever !! Today this young man threw my receipt on the floor because I didn’t have any change to tip ( which I always do ) this was my favorite location but isn't anymore although the manager I spoke to was very nice and understanding but I almost beat dude ass ..

Do not order delivery from them. The last two times it has taken over an hour to get the food ordered, which was just a sandwich and chips. This review has nothing to do with the quality of food. It's delicious but I am going to have to stop ordering from them due to the delivery.

Absolutely awful. I ordered a sandwich.. The driver "left 5 minutes later" but somehow didn't deliver the sandwich for an hour. I had to call several times. The driver "got a flat" but we were never notified until the 3rd time I called. I'll never order from this location again.

The staff would prefer you not to bother them. I used the mobile app. They placed my bottled coke in the bag with my sandwich and it was not cold anymore when I picked it up. I don’t normally leave bad reviews.

So slow. The appeal of Jimmy John’s is the speed of delivery. I ordered an hour ago am still waiting. It’s been ‘out for delivery’ for the last 40 min. I live less than a mile away. Any other delivery service gets here faster. Grubhub, dominos, etc. Freaky slow.

This Jimmy Johns is amazing, I always order from here when I'm waiting in line for concerts at the Music Factory and they always deliver in a very timely fashion and my order is always correct, I even had a sandwich delivered in the pouring rain!

Freaky fast, and normally freaky wrong. Even though they mess up my order every single time, it's still a good place for a sandwich and a pickle. I just wish they could figure out how to cook bacon or add dijon to a sandwich.

I ordered a Turkey Tom Sandwich and when I got home to eat it they I notice they left off the TURKEY!!! I don’t understand how you can make a turkey sandwich and not put any turkey on it.

LOVE all the sandwiches. All the staff are are super friendly and welcoming! Tip: get the day old bread for 50 cents a make garlic bread with your dinner! It’s wonderful and super easy!

Fantastic subs. If you need something quick and want something relatively healthy, this is your place. This location is very small though, so you may need to take your food to go.

I ordered 35 sandwiches for a swim meet and Simon, their catering manager, was awesome an very pleasant to work with! Best Jimmy John's service I've ever had for the team!
