I was excited to see a Jimmy the Greek in the food court as I was craving some chicken souvlaki and greek salad! As a result, I asked if it was possible to get the chicken souvlaki meal but replace the rice with more salad. The employee was kind in replying that he'd be happy to do so. Unfortunately, my low rating is based more on the quality and portion of food. The size of my salad was really the same as if they hadn't "replaced" my rice, just "discarded it". The potatoes were also very wet/soggy almost, compared to the slightly crisp and drier potatoes I've tasted at every other one of their locations. The chicken itself was dry, and had definitely been overcooked. Lastly, (not the biggest deal for me as I love tzatziki), they just slap on the sauce onto the chicken and potatoes whereas every other location I've been to will have it nicely packed in a condiment container, so you can dip as you choose. Personally, the food still tasted decent but being a frequent customer to Jimmy the Greek, I was able to compare this location to others' standards and it just really did not match up. During my recent visit to this restaurant, I found a foreign object in my food which appears to be metal, raising serious hygiene concerns. When I alerted the staff, they unprofessionally deconstructed the evidence without consent, leaving me shocked and disrespected. Their actions displayed a lack of professionalism and care for customers' well-being. A complaint letter has been forwarded to the management of Square One, Peel Public Health and Director of Operations at Jimmy the Greek. I am closely following up with the parties above on the resolution of this matter. I would also like to bring to your attention that I have video and audio recordings of the interactions between myself and the employees of your restaurant. The statements from two male employees in these recordings confirm the existence of the foreign object in my meal. At this time, I reserve all my rights for future actions, including but not limited to demand letters, etc. This incident did not need to be escalated this way, but the unprofessionalism from your employees contributed to it.

Awful service and quality of food! I love jimmy the Greek and often go to the Mapleview location but because I go to school by Square One, I go to grab lunch there. My group of friends and I were rushed to order even though nobody else was behind us in line and they were not busy. Second of all they had pre made the salads for take out and eating in...which in my opinion will turn customers off because it isn't "fresh" or what if someone had allergies to the tomatoes or cheese? I didn't even have a chance to say no rice because I was rushed through so quickly! Lastly, because the employee had slapped on my food so quick in the take out container, it was packed messy and my hands had already gotten dirty before I even started eating. I asked for more napkins since I was only given ONE.. and she said "you have one there that I gave you, and here is another one" and gave me ONE more. I usually don't do these type of reviews which says a lot, but I cannot comprehend how awful the attitude and service/quality was! Never going to this location again.

I ordered from Jimmy the Greek through DoorDash this date. I was completely disappointed. I will never order from Jimmy the Greek again. For 17 and change dollars the meal was not worth it at all . it was the chicken souvlaki meal that I ordered. there were three very small pieces of chicken on a stick that were not marinated well and was mostly disappointed in the chicken at the portion size. I was also disappointed in the portion size of the Greek salad which was extremely small with approximately only 1 tablespoon or less of feta cheese. No pita bread or sweet honey sticks were offered as other Greek places give automatically.. I’ve ordered many chicken souvlaki‘s over the years and this was the most disappointed I’ve been. C and Dubbs which is a hamburger place off of Dundas In Mississauga isn’t even known for Greek food and yet their chicken souvlaki meal is 10 times better than Jimmy the Greek‘s.

they’re VERY cheap with their portions, and it’s THEIR location because the Jimmy the Greek at Sherway gives waaay more, as it should be! the square one location use yellow onions instead of red. they always have the salads on plates (prepared ahead of time) which isn’t fresh by the time i order. the older lady is very rude, always has an attitude. seems like any form of work is a major inconvenience. i would also sit in-front of the shop to eat and notice the same kind of attitude from her to other customers. i stopped going here yeeears ago. i go to the one at Sherway, where you get way more food, better quality and better service. this location is really making the Jimmy the Greek franchise seem horrible. you can’t be cheap when you own a restaurant. use the proper ingredients, give proper portions and provide proper customer service. there’s a reason why it’s 2.3/5 stars.

The older lady that works there is so disgusting. First of all let’s start with the fact that I paid $20 for a meal and I got 3 tiny potatoes, half a scoop of rice and everything was watered down because she literally added 4 scoops of the potato water into everything. I asked for 4 containers of tzatziki and she offered it to me in the container directly on the food so she put one small scoop and I asked for a little more( it was barely anything) she got mad and said no that’s all I get for free so I said I would pay for the extra and still wouldn’t add it on so I asked for 3 containers on the side and she gave me the most disgusting look and attitude. Wish I read these reviews before I ate here zero stars for sure. Go to any other Jimmy the Greek (Oakville place is amazing) but this one, they give Jimmy the Greek a poor rep. Rice and potatoes had zero flavour, gave you about 3 pieces of lettuce, maybe 3 bites of chicken…what a waste. I asked for no dressing on my salad and when my server wasn’t looking another lady dumped dressing all over my salad without saying a word. Rushed us through when there wasn’t even a line behind us. Staff was lazy and inattentive especially the older lady which we see from other reviews is a trend. Wish I had said something in the moment but was astonished at how horrible they were. Old lady is so damn rude and shouted at me because I wanted a little extra potatoes on my VEGETARIAN MEAL. She ended up dumping some of the rice to give me 3 small pieces of potatoes and proceeded to say it was too busy and she didn’t have time for this… I was so hungry but I ended up losing my appetite after this encounter. worst experience ever. i ordered 2 chicken soulvlaki meals (as i always do at other jimmy the greek locations such as masonville) and they gave me half the box portion than they normally do, but still charge me the same price. the staff was unbelievably disrespectful and rude. the guy preparing my meal put sauce all over my meal when i asked for it on the side. i told the cashier i didn’t want the one on the side and they gave me extreme attitude. the cashier rudely asked me to “move out of the way” so another customer can pay. once i was ready to pay i politely asked to pay with debit and the cashier stood there doing nothing. he then yelled at me and asked if i was ready to pay yet. i’m extremely disappointed and i won’t be returning.

Horrible customer service. I was with my my toddler and infant, the last thing on my mind was asking for a bag in advance and the cashier never asked. Once I realized I didn’t ask she had an attitude. I was still willing to pay the price for the bag but only had my credit card and she said they have a $5 minimum. The other worker proceeded to say it was my fault for not asking in advance (I was engaging with my baby) and in the most degrading voice the other worker says, “you don’t have 10 cents on you?” On top of that, food tasted stale.

There's a reason, out of all the fast food restaurants in the food court, you never see a line up at this location. It's an ordeal to order at this place and every time I've been here. The service is horrendous. Don't be shocked if the one old woman is either extremely rude or laughs in your face; everyone who I've spoken to about my experience says the same thing. I have have been eating at this location for years and never had a problem until my recent trip. Last week I visited this location and told the lady what I wanted. I asked for extra sauce and she thought I mean extra meat. I quickly told her thats not what I wanted and she started to get annoyed, threw her hands up and started giving attitude. Then she proceeded to gossip about me in front of me with another worker. For a simple misunderstanding this reaction was not necessary and completely unprofessional. Reading other reviews, I can tell i'm not the only one who has had an unpleasant experience here.

I have been subjected to racial slur sin this location of JTG while we went to show them the quality issue (there was strand of hair) the only concerning thing was the owner of the store was there nearby who told us that you cannot do anything about it, where will you go to complain it seems, the quality of food was worst. We tried to take a copy of the bill where the owner was scared later on if we complained. Unfortunately had to call the security and he helped us with issue. This should not happen with anyone else.

This Jimmy the Greek location just gets worse and worse… asked for extra potatoes and the guy working there said “it only comes with three like the picture, for another potato I will take one spoon out of the rice I put for you in your plate” UNBELIEVABLE!!!! These people just get cheaper and cheaper. How about you lower your prices for a plate since you’re only giving half portions. The rice barely made a full spoon and the salad was already pre-made. Thanks I’d like to pick my salad rather than having it placed on the counter for God knows how long.

Lousy unfriendly staff working there. Asked to put tomato and onion in a separate container and the Kid behind the counter refused. Even though there was a small container which I pointed out. This location is stingy and the staff is mouthy too. I've been to his location twice and I work at the mall. Mainly because I never have a good experience here. First time I came here I asked if they may have Cesar dressing and the staff said "well it's a Greek restaurant so no!" And this time they were stingy on the salad, when I asked for a little more she said "well I gave you rice and potato"... well rice and potatoe is part of the meal right !? All these comments are true. I don’t know what it is with this location and the portion size… it’s almost half the size as the one at Bramalea city centre. The salad for the chicken Slovakia meal is pre put into the container aka it’s warm and sauggy and BARELY ANYTHING! It’s hilarious actually. Like I swear 25 pieces of small lettuce and 1 half a tomato slice LMAO! I asked for a bit more and they said no.. I said I could pay for a bit more lettuce and STILL NO LMAO!!! Very odd. Stick to other locations.

Avoid. Overpriced, stingy portions of poor quality food. Chicken skewer on salad came out cold, so I brought it back (to be clear, I was eating in the food court, so the chicken was cold in just minutes). They reheated the chicken for a few seconds and returned it to me, still cold. I was then offered a rude explanation of how my chicken was cold because of the dressing on my salad, even though I hadn't added dressing and the chicken skewer was sitting on top of the salad. Not a good location.

The food is subpar compared to other Jimmy the Greek. The people serving are also rude. The portion size is really small and they put the white and hot sauce on the rice instead of on the side. I was here on April 22nd and I am not coming back.

DON'T EAT HERE! I cannot believe they're still up and running despite how awful they treat their customers. They've been this way for years; way before the Square One renovation. Every single time I ordered from them, they would intentionally not add olives in the salad, add one less potato; skimping at its finest. I felt like I was being scammed. Additionally, the employees had no sense of customer service. I would rather drive to a further location than eat here.

I usually get the roast chicken leg from Jimmy The Greek. The staff is nice and always asks if we need any toppings. They give us a good-sized chicken leg and put a great amount of veggies and toppings on it. Of course, the portion size decreases a bit because my hubby doesn't feel full and still wants to eat dessert. But overall, I think it's alright and it tastes fine to us.

Good Food, reasonable price for Canada, I'd say too expensive compared to the United States, but at least it's good quality, the Lamb Shank is so tender, falls off the bone, the salad is good, I asked for no rice, so they added more salad and extra potatoes for me. the Sauce on the potatoes was yummy, I'd say the customer service could use more improvement otherwise I would've gave them 5 stars rating.

I tell this old lady named aura or Maria (not sure heard 2 names) that works here my chicken is cold before I even pay and she tells me it not so I touched the chicken and It was cold. She said why'd I touch it. She's so bitter and it's not worth it to deal with her or eat here. I told her I don't need to eat here and she tells me "I don't care".

We LOVE them. Me and my family eat there often. I like the fact when you eat their food is more like homemade than something really quick and "fast-food" like. Excellent halal food. Their food is very good and there portions are good. Their chicken feels fresh just like the rice and salads. I'd go there again if I was in the mall. I prefer it much better than other similar options in the mall. They're clean and they're friendly. Recommended if you're in the mall and want something filling.

Customer service is terrible, and more often than not, they “forget” to give you olives. Each time I go I have to remind them olives are essential to a Greek salad. Very unimpressed.

Worst location indeed. The taste of the food is not standard with Jimmy the Greek. It taste so bland, like eating plain salad with no sauce. The garlic sauce taste like light mayo with light I don't know what. It is a horrible experience and definitely a misrepresentation of Jimmy the Greek's name.

Terrible place to eat here at the mall. Cheese pastry pie was very very dry. Complained but was denied a fresh pie. Also portions were smaller and not cooked right. Go spend your money somewhere else.

Giving a 1 star review is me being generous. The lady that works at the front is probably one of the rudest people ever. We asked for a side of salad dressing and she refused even after we said we would pay. The portions are a JOKE. This place has ruined it for me.

Very bad quality and service. The employees need lots of training, especially the rude man at the counter, who screams at you if you ask for extra taziki. Unbelievable how they are still in business with this attitude. No wonder their Google ratings are miserable.

If your looking for the closest thing to prison food in the food court this is where you should come. Slop on a plate is basically what it is. Tzatziki is like water slopped all over the salad. Zero finesse. This should be a disgrace to any greek person.

Today I was at the Square one mall and decided to have Jimmy the Greek. I experienced one of the worst Jimmy the Greek food ever. Salad was stale, the amount is so much less than what I normally get. I wont get food from this restaurant again.

Won't eat here again. We ordered two chicken souvlakis. As others have said, small portion size for what you pay. No vegetables other than tomatoes and onion. No lettuce and no feta cheese. Tasted good but it was more like a snack than a meal.

I really like the Greek Food and I find JTG are all fairly consistent in good quality. Unfortunately they are also consistently cheap and this location is no exception. If you order Chicken or other kabobs you get near exact as anyone

Seems like shrinkflation is very well implemented here at Jimmy’s. The take away box is smaller now, with less of everything, rice, salad, chicken too and not to forget , water drowned potatoes.! Not going here at-least anymore.

I have had their chicken roast meal a few times and didn't like it every single time. Chicken tastes disgusting. Rice portion is so little as to only satisfy a toddler. Potatoes tastes garbage. Don't bother wasting your money.
