As a past student I can honestly advise that you do not send your children to this school. This school made the worst 7 years of my life. I attended from kindergarten to year 6, I hated every second. The teachers were horrendous, they were absolutely rude and cruel. They were very bitter people. My sister was called dumb and bullied by one of the teachers who was supposed to be improving her reading because she was struggling to read in year 3. If your mentally disabled it seems you get away with hurting other students, at least that's what I had witnessed and some teachers enforce bad habits such as waiting to go to the toilet for hours till class is over. There was nothing in john purchase I looked forward to. Every day I dreaded the thought of school more than your average kid. I'm not alone on this. Every student I was in school with felt the same way about the teachers as I did. So I strongly advise you find somewhere else for your child to go. Oak hill is a lovely school.

I have been a student at this school from kindy to year six and I must say, it’s a wondrous school!! I liked every single teacher I’ve had and looked forward to every day at school. The staff are helpful, the students are fairly nice and the teachers are the best I’ve ever seen! The school is large and has many playing areas so you never feel too trapped! Education is also very good in JPPS. I remember one year, we had three people in top 1% of the Math Olympiad program. It wasn’t easy leaving John Purchase and I definitely recommend this school!!

As a past student of John Purchase Public School, the school lacks the motivation to enshrine the many cultural backgrounds of the student body. For example, many Indian students attend the school, yet the main emphasis on the school is on Christmas, rather than the more popularly celebrated Diwali. The school has an irritating love for giving out awards, rather than actually genuine events, like the school’s Harmony Day. In addition, the school fails to maintain it’s toilets and COLA.

this school is pretty good. the play areas and classrooms are absolutely giant and it is in a quiet setting where learning is not disturbed. most of the teachers are nice and all the students are friendly. one downside it's not really an ideal school for high achievers in academics but the facilities and area is good.

JON PERCHASE IS MY CITY although the secondary principal from 2016-2017 was absolutely #### her name was susan young i was in jpps since kindy and in year 5 moved to kings. I am hapy at kings now but will neveer forget my old memeories of jpps. Hopefully not damaged by that susan young

This school is good and has pretty nice facilities, however I feel that they need to understand that some people that have done things wrong for the first time should be given a second chance rather than allowing those who do many wrong things get away with it.

I attended this school from kindy and now I am in year 10. I love this school so much. This school had the best teachers. Thank you Mrs. Warner, Mrs. Mugridge, Ms. Foster, Mrs. Brooks-Smith, and Ms. Moore for making learning fun!
