This is where you go to when you just want to have a drink/beer in a place where people know your name! Play a song on the jukebox take a photo in the booth, it's real not digital. This is a real community place, there are only two TVs, a must for anyone who just wants to play a little ping pong while they sip a tasty beverage. Overall the staff is friendly, the drinks are stiff, price is right and you just might make a new friend in the seat next to you. Cheers!

I had 5 stars before because it was always a good place for me to go after work to relax. I frequently went during the week and the bartenders always cool and friendly. Great service and all. I went this past Saturday and a bouncer I hardly see told me I couldn't go in because of my Raider jacket. I thought he was kidding. He told me that I had to take it off in order to go in. I told him I wasn't, so I went next door to the York. Disappointed.

If you're trying to impress a date, keep in mind that their bar stools are a little odd to balance on; choose wisely because you will be wobbling the whole time. This venue is always crowded and loud due to the people and the games they play on their jumbo-screens. However, parking has never been an issue because they have their own parking lot and it's easy to find free parking on the neighborhood streets.

Great dive bar with top of the line bar tenders. Security is very friendly and overall the experience every time I go is completely family oriented. Highly recommend. Local dive bar. A real gem in the ever changing neighborhood. Good drinks and a vast selection of beers. The bartenders are very knowledgeable in the beers they serve and can help find related drinks to appease your pallete! A cozy place where your treated like family. Hands down the best bar on the street

Local watering hole. Non pretentious, at least before nightfall, in the midst of a changing street. The beer selection is great, tab and bottles, full bar, jukebox, darts, bar seating and lounge couches. Catch a dodger game, bring in food from the lunch truck's outside, and relax.

My first time in this cool place. Came in afterwork for some brew. Pictured is my delicious Allagash. They have an outside patio which has a lot of shaded spot with fans adding in some cool breeze. Also, I met the friendliest kitty hanging around….. Really cool. :) …

Great atmosphere, very clean and service is great. It gets a little crowded as the night goes on during the weekends. But that's because people love coming here. Of your looking a for a bar to just relax and have some fun at Johnny's Bar is the place to go just for that.

Great staff and awesome spot for getting together with friends or making new ones. The inside is set up really cool with little tables all along the wall and mirrors just above them. Excellent place to chill and have a good time.

Best neighborhood bar! I love this spot, it can get a little weird sometimes but if you’re not into that- don’t go to HLPs staple bar. Great bartenders, reasonable drinks, right next to Charlies tacos. What’s not to love?

Classic LA dive bar! This place has a lot of old school entertainment. The jukebox is from the 80s and there’s an old photo booth that spits out real photos. The drinks are great and affordable and the staff is fun!

The owner and bartenders are amazing, the service is fast and fantastic. Alex is the best bartender I’ve ever had! If I could give them 10 stars I would! If you’re in the area you should go!

If your a local you know all about Jhonnys. This place is amazing they have DARTS, and amazing bartenders. Timmy is the OG and can prepare you anything. Must go !!!

Advertises as a sports bar, without a single screen showing a sport. Maybe it was once a sports bar. I moved on because I wanted to catch a game.
