Very disappointed with my experience with Johnny’s Furniture. Purchased the Paige chaise lounge, 2 seater lounge plus ottoman. Boxes that were delivered on the 14th of July were very damp and appear to have mould. My husband opened up one of the damp boxes, the lounge has a very musty mouldy smell. Contacted Campbelltown store which was the point of purchase, relayed the issue to them, was then contacted via email by the claims department asking for photos. Sent through photos, an hour later the same person from the Campbelltown store called informing me that the best solution the claims department can do is have my replacement lounges swapped over on Sunday the 17th of July. In the meantime I am stuck with these mouldy boxes and lounges for 3 days until they are swapped. I’d just like to point out though, the sales people from the Campbelltown store have always been extremely helpful and courteous, and my service from them can’t be faulted it’s the way in which the warehouse and claims department has completely let me down as a customer. I am completely confused and frustrated that this has occurred but most importantly how this is not being dealt with in an urgent manner. I have never before been in a situation like this and I am very disappointed that as a consumer my expectations were definitely not met and will not be a return customer.

VERY RUDE AND CONDESCENDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! I visited this store today (Easter Monday 2022), looking for a nice lounge for our home. My wife and I, sat down to trial if the lounge was comfortable or not - which it was not comfortable and was not for us. The sales “lady” who approached us around 11:30am (looks Indian decent) and didn’t get her name but was very rude in her comment to my wife. My wife just said it wasn’t comfortable and her response was “there must be something wrong with your pants, it’s your pants not the couch!” she said this in a mocking manner and also the remarks were more than once. The company needs to train their staff properly or she is most likely trying to sabotage the business. Because of this “sales rep” we didn’t want to look around for other furniture options as it made us very uncomfortable (even more so than the couch) this is NO way to treat your customers.

Bought a couch a few months ago advising they were happy to keep for us until we are able to move into our home which is currently under construction. We then received a call saying we need to pick it up within 2 weeks. I told them we were not able to store it safely just yet. I called back a week later and suddenly they tell us they're moving warehouses and we need to pick up asap. Horrible communication given we werent advised this prior. I asked why werent we advised prior and they we unable to give me a straight answer or any compensation for the short notice. Just thinking if we were overseas or uncontactable before they moved what would happen then?? We then had to pay for delivery and inconvenience our family to store this before we are ready to move in. Giving 2 stars for the furniture but would give zero for the sub-par service.

I bought a sofa lounge in mid June 2019. Been told the delivery will require 6-7 weeks which was the first week of august. Just before that week I received a sms saying there was a delay with the container and delivery will stretch until the end of August or early september. Okay!!!! I held my patience until today which is almost mid september and still no news or what so ever. No one answers the phone even after leaving a VM for a call back. This has started to look like a bit dodgy now with such a poor customer experience considering everything being already paid. If you are purchasing anything from this place, just get it straight away from the stock as these guys do false promises with zero commitments.

Bought a 3 seater sofa from here with my wife. When we got there we were greeted by one of their furniture specialists, she along with another salesperson who is a top bloke helped us pick which sofa best fitted what we were looking for, would be the right size for our living room and getting to our apartment and was within our budget. Also met the store manager who helped with getting us a reasonable price for the sofa. Since getting the sofa it has been great, doesn't have any unusual sagginess in the coushinig or any stitching coming loose or any other common problems. Would definitely recommend seeing the team there on Blaxland Road. Very helpful and great to chat with

Johnnys furniture hasn’t been true to their price. They first advertised the lounge on February for RRP$1399 and recently they up the price to $1799 that’s not included special discount. Which is the correct price?? Why put up false advertisement thinking you giving shoppers cheap price!! Is it because you see shoppers admiring the item and thinking Why Not up the price few dollars more. You’re business mind ain’t that bright Everything all wrong in that department price keeps going up and down Ridiculous for factory seconds.

There was a dining table I was interested in so I enquired beforehand to check if there were any dents/scratches before I made the 1 hour drive over. I was told there weren't. When I arrived, I noticed the big dent immediately. The sale person's response was that the reduced price reflected it. I would rather pay a fraction more (the discount is really not that significant) to get a brand new dining table. Also, I arrived with 15 minutes to spare but the sales person rushed me because they wanted to close shop and start their weekend early.

SHOP ELSEWHERE. We ordered a lounge in July 2023 with a 4- 16 week wait time (already this is a ridiculously broad window). After having to chase it up 3 times we are now on our 3rd delayed delivery, a month after the first expected arrival date, with absolutely no accountability or explanation from the company, and no faith it wont get pushed back again. No compensation offered. They even told me to keep calling to see if its in- when its their company and they have eyes on the stock coming in or not?! So lazy! The most awful experience!

I purchased a lounge in April and was told it would be 10-12 weeks delivery. Fast forward to mid August and I still have no lounge and every time I call i get a different answer. First time was there was an delay in ordering. Next I was told there was a new ordering system. The third call i was told they had no explaination, but it is now due mid August. I called again today and was told it might be in by 20th. I will never deal with this company again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Cant recommend Johnny’s Furniture Campbelltown store highly enough . I saw a coffee table online but couldn’t see it in the colour I wanted and rang them and within seconds I had a photo sent to me and did the transaction over the phone and organised pick up the next day . Their customer service was second to none and the prices are excellent. This will definitely be my 1st go to store for furniture from now on . Thank you again from a very happy customer

Today I met the lovely Nat who served me at the car park sale. I went there after I had received terrible service at the penrith store and wouldn’t return to that store. I knew exactly what I was after which wasn’t in store. Nat was super helpful in providing me with exceptional service and ordered me exactly what I was after. She went above and beyond what was expected. It was nice to see that good, friendly, professional service still exists.

I have purchased 2 sets of lounges from this store Jan 2019. I should say 3 star is for their competitive price. Their customer service is very poor. One of the lounges delivered was incorrect and the store did not take any responsibility to replace it. They offered a call back form "service team" but did not provide a contact number. I am yet to be contacted by their service team after 3 days follow up and will update this review accordingly.

These guys are great. The customer service is far better than anywhere I've bought furniture before. Mainly because the guys Angel and Diego really know their stuff and don't do the typical sales pressure stuff. Just honest open communication and they try to get you the best deal. Recently bought a sofa from them. Once it was delivered, noticed stain on it. Upon further investigation, I found out that they sold a used sofa to me with stain. They must have very bad quality control procedures where a stained sofa is sold to a customer. Very dissatisfied with the purchase and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy any furniture from them :(

Initially, we purchased Lunar Sofa for a great price, but the delivery got delayed due to few reasons. However, store manager Natalie was lovely and helped us to swap for another sofa that was coming sooner and we really liked the way how they treated us :).
