I had a bad experience with a lady working at Granville. She was pretty rude on the weekend and ensured we weren’t going to buy anything. Been thinking about this today after it come up in conversation and wouldn’t recommend the company. This is because they said they had a piece in stock at 730 on Saturday night then told me it was gone before 10am on Sunday. No one bothered to contact me even when they knew I was coming in. The only info I got was being called out to half way across the shop saying it won’t be in til January then told it would be February then told that it must of sold online and she shrugged her shoulders. I genuinely thought it must have been a mixup and they put it aside so I showed her the text messages. She just repeated what she said. I said there’s got to be a mistake I spoke to someone so late on Saturday so I tried to call the number but it called to her phone and it was her number! She had not mentioned that we spoke at all and this was after she had just seen the messages on my phone. So possibly she didn’t admit maybe she had just made a mistake. However, there were no other options suggested to me on furniture and it was really awkward and I left feeling lied to (either she lied as she didn’t want to sell to me or she lied about making a mistake). I feel disappointed to read other reviews of good experiences with the owner or other staff possibly at other stores. There was no one in the shop when we visited so it wasn’t as if they were busy and couldn’t have called or when in the shop discussed other options

I highly do not recommend anyone going to this store. This is the first time I have ever given any review to any page like this. This store compelled me to do this. Not because of bad service but will say a worse. They do not value your time and money and frustration they just say they know nothing. Later December I ordered a couch with them and they didn’t had in stock the sales man said it will arrive at end of January or first week of February but Today I saw the note in there system they had written mid February clearly but they just tricked me.Today is 1feb they again told me my couch will be delivered by mid March. Have no couch at my new home since month. I asked them to give me offer for another couch which was just 100 dollars more which they cannot compromise. These people freezing my money for months and months and months and not giving anything also nothing willing to give refund. I asked them for refund and they said head office will decide and they are not too sure if my money will be refunded. Refund is hassle in this store even though you have no fault. But salesman don’t know how to assure. Guys do wise business. My few dollars won’t make you billionaires. Kind words can win better and learn to assure customers their rights will remain safe.

Johnny's Furniture does have some good products. The staff in the Parramatta store is really good as well, specially Apurva. We purchased a 5 seater Watson couch in March 2023 along with a Von Daniken dining table. 1) The couch delivery process was real pain in the a**. After waiting for months, it was finally delivered in August with one part missing. We were asked to pick up the missing part from their warehouse in September. Product: 1999$ Delivery: 148$ Insurance: 299$ 2) I have never come across a dining table with the top being way heavier than the legs. That’s a design flaw. The base should support the top. While installing, it took us combined efforts of 3 people to lift the dining table. Within a few months the wood on the bottom of the legs has started to develop splinters. No support provided by the Claims team. Product: 899$ Delivery: 148$ I would have loved to pick up more stuff from Johnny’s but after the experience I am not sure if I would consider investing in a piece of furniture from Johnny’s ever again.

One of the best customer service and delivery/assembly team we have EVER encountered. The whole process of selection and purchase was made extremely easy and enjoyable because of Dipti at Johnny's Parramatta branch. She is just so nice and was exceptional with her knowledge and expertise to help us through our journey - to the extend of selecting feature wall color to accent the sofa sets :). It is probably because of her that we ended up buying most of our home furnishings from Johnny/Ashley. The delivery and assembly was made seamless with Ricky and his team. They arrived on time, ensured none of our walls got damaged/scuffed whilst bringing in the furniture and assembling it. Took time in assembling the tricky pieces like extendable dinning table and lift-top coffee table. Even moved the Tall boy to a couple of spots until we were satisfied!!! And all this with a smile on their faces :) Best experience ever!!! Thank you Dipti and Ricky - you are both amazing!!!

We bought a 3 seater Paige couch with an ottoman 6 weeks ago. From the first day we noticed a squeeky sound coming from the base. We then contacted the store, the manager took our details and advised that someone will contact us from the claims department. The day after we received an email with a case number requested us to take pictures and videos of the fault, which we emailed on the 2 April 2022. 3 April we received an email requesting that we take more videos of the fault, which we sent on the same day. 8 April I sent a follow-up email because I have not heard back from them. I then called the Store and spoke to the manager and he assured me that someone will contact me with solution. I waited for 3 days for someone to contact me back but no one did, on 12 April i followed-up with another email and still have not heard from anyone to this day. Trust me do yourselves a favour, pay the extra money and buy from a retailer with a better warranty.

If I could put no stars , I would. Biggest money hungry business I’ve ever come across. Don’t be fooled by their customer service and their warranty guarantee. Johnnys does not handle any warranty they send it to a 3rd party who won’t reply and when they do they don’t do anything , even though you’re eligible for warranty to replace. The couch zipper broke 2 months into owning the couch in 2021. It’s been 2 years and it hasn’t been fixed. The last reply I got from Zoe was 5 months ago. Jack the salesman is a liar. Said the couch will be replaced if any spill occurs (wine). Also said the couch was easy to clean but it leaves spot stains. I’ve heard rumours this company will go into liquidation very soon so please don’t waste any of your hard earned money on these frauds. I have also been told johnnys and Ashley’s are run by the same people. I should have called fair trading ages ago.

Johnny's Furniture at Parramatta This was an amazing shopping experience I had in a long time. Not only me and my friend bought our furniture from here but also witnessed great customer service with an in house designer at the store, Dipti. She will help you with picking all the right pieces and genuine opinion to make your space look great. Worth visiting. Previous furniture shops that we visited, we were hardly approached by the staff and if we were attended, just looked so mechanical and robotic. I also bought a gem from there, my cofffee table, lift top coffee table to be precise. Love it, as it also works as my dining table and work table too. My friend bought a lounge, a recliner and she is super happy with it. Thank you Dipti and team. We will be back soon

The worst customer service that I’ve ever received. Rude and condescending salesman. Still waiting for our couch, ordered 17 weeks ago. On June 28, 2020 we put down a deposit on the Elona couch of $675. At your Auburn/Granville store. We were told when we ordered this it would be a 8 week wait. It’s now 17 weeks since we ordered the lounge. That is an unacceptable time when we were told 8 weeks. We have called twice following up on where our order is. The last time we spoke with a man by the name of Angel, he was exceptionally rude and condescending. We then asked for a refund as this is too long to wait for a couch. He said he would get someone to call us on Tuesday 22nd of Sept or Wednesday 23rd Sept. We are still waiting for that call.

Terrible customer service. Stay away from Jack, he only cares about getting a sale. Had some issues after purchasing from him but he was no longer the nice salesman he was before the purchase. He made every excuse not to help us and wanted to charge every possible fee he could think of. The quality of the furniture was definitely not worth the price and had some sharp pieces sticking out. The furniture also did not fit together right so some pieces can't be locked into place. I wish i read all the other negative reviews on here before deciding to purchase from this place because they are 100% accurate when it comes to the quality and after purchase service from this place.

I’ve been wanting to put a review after I’ve purchased and furnished my house from Johnny’s Furniture. I was looked after by Angel at Parramatta Store and his customer service was outstanding. He helped me to find the right pieces of furniture I ended up buying more then 7 items of furniture with great deals he offered me. This level of customer service is very rare these days. I will definitely be back! As he will be sending me more offers and items that he would get on the floor in the future Johnny’s Furniture has great furniture that suits everyone I recommend shop there first and you’ll get top deals especially by Angel he’s a great guy

Very frustrating experience! People please be aware! I ordered a couch on 16/09 with no clear indication on the website that the couch was on pre-order. Then I got contacted by the company to say that the wait time will be from 4 - 16 (!) weeks. Then I asked for a refund because it was taking too long. I got advice that they charge a 20% fee for the order cancellation - for something I will never get. I decided to wait longer and the original estimated ETA was 15/11 now the estimated ETA on the website is 08/12! Also, I am unable to reach out via email. I feel like they just want to get your money and you will never get the product you purchased.

We are not much of posting reviews or anything, but after the great experience that we had at Johnny’s Parramatta I think is worth it. Erick helped us with the selection of the lounge, table and everything that we brought home, he showed us different options and also guide us with the stylish of our space (from pallet of colours to styles). Since we visited the store, the staff was very friendly and keen to answer all of our questions after few moths finally we set up most of our rooms and we wanted to share some photos for future references. Thank you Erick, the house looks amazing and we will come back for sure Linda & Sang Tran.

We ordered a sofa and a king size mattress. Everything was fine until…. The delivery was $230!! The sofa didn’t fit up the elevator and staircase wasn’t big enough. The mattress on the other hand they didn’t even try. We ended up spending 10 minutes taking the sofa all the way to the garage and 20 minutes to get the mattress to fit in the elevator. Although this is the delivery company’s fault when we turned on the light and looked at the coffee table it was covered in scratches. THEY USED A BUFFER! Worst store ever. Don’t buy. Haven’t opened dining table yet. Hopefully we get at least one good thing.

Great understanding and attention to details on your needs from material, look, design and space. We just bought our first house and needed pretty much everything to get it furnished, so had lots of questions !!! Dipti is a great experienced sales manager who’s a wealth of knowledge and patience to give you and provide the right advise. We had a very good experience here at Johnny's. Deepti was so helpful in guiding us through selecting the styles that match our home colour scheme and space. She was patient with us for the entire process and answered any questions we had. One of our lounges we booked was bigger than the space in our room, but Johnny's were helpful to change the lounge at no extra cost before delivery. Booking and delivery was smooth. Assembly and rubbish removal comes for extra price but definitely recommended! We would definitely go back for quality and the friendly service!

Upon arrival we were greeting by a gentleman named Angel. He assisted us with all our needs, we have never experienced such great customer service like this. We had no intentions of buying anything as we were just browsing around but we saw some cinema chairs which Angel gave us a price we could not refuse. We then immediately sat down and he explained the quality, usage and longevity of the chairs. We’re very happy with Angelo & we certainly recommend coming here for great prices & good quality furniture & accessories!.

Do not use this company they do not comply with Australian Consumer Law. I had not been able to receive my delivery due to the item being too big to fit into the building. I had made a phone order and was told it was a 3 seater. They had attempted to deliver and charged me a delivery fee in cash only although my item was not able to be delivered. They then refused to give me a refund. This is against ACCC guidelines. They advised their Terms and Conditions allow them to breach the law. Stay away!

Angel was so helpful and so curtious to us . He answered every question we had with kindness and sincerity. He greeted us with the upmost respect and kindness, showed us all the lounges that was within our budget and didn't try to sell us just anything. We will definitely be comming back to this store for anymore furnuture needs and will be telling our friends and family to come here from now on. If you want professionalism. Go and see Angel. Had awesome experience. Dipti was highly knowledgeable not only on the products but also on stocks available, delivery and other things. What I liked the most is that they didn’t make any false promises and also kept me updated in case of any changes. I would highly recommend. They also had all sorts of products from cheap and best to high quality furnitures. I liked their combinations and designs too. Price was reasonable too. Overall had an excellent experience.

While the products are amazing and pricing is great. Please be aware of their policy on refunds, warranty on displays and general warranty policy. Read their invoices as they often try to void consumer law so make sure you know your rights as a consumer prior to shopping here. They are not bothered with keeping the customer happy but more on closing the sale and getting customers to sign the invoice without explaining anything (eg: warranty and refund policy).

Only good thing was person giving us the deal, almost everyone gave different price, took so long to have items listed to be purchased, then delivery was piecemeal, warehouse staff was like cant be bothered, they use external delivery agent which is so bad.. it costs extra per time unlike other furniture places having one delivery cost for all items you purchase. Warehouse is actually far away from their show room. You lost me after that experience sorry.

Unfortunately, wrong shop to go. I was expecting a good quality products that they sell but found out that $3000 worth of launge received with faulty in the front of the lounge. Management expecting from customer to stay cool and deep breath and asking the customer to follow up with the warehouse not part of their job, unfortunately Management service and product not good and will end me up with no in.the guests launge during the Easter period.

Happy with the couch I was sold by Johnny furniture, NOT happy with the "Product Insurance Care" they provide. I purchased a protection spray product that was explained will give me insurance if anything accidental was to happen to the couch. Well it did, and there's been a lack of support from product insurance care so id suggest don't pay for the extra insurance product with your new couch its an extra cost that's not worth it.

She was very patient with all of the questions and inquiries and guided us through the process very smoothly and happily. 1 star only for the sale people. Paid for new furniture came faulty and damaged from delivery date. They don't want to replace they won't even consider my emails on this matter. They are very hard to deal with and do not want to sort it out and offer replacements but instead offer a voucher for 100 dollars when I paid more than 4 thousand. Essentially they took the money, left me with damaged furniture and don't care.

I purchased a dining furniture at Johnny’s Furniture. The furniture is alright but the delivery process is something that will give customers a headache. They asked me to hire two additional removalists to bring the furnitures upstairs on top of paying them extra fee for every flight of stairs there is in my building. I’ve never had such horrible experience to any furniture company except to this store.

Johnny's furniture in Parramatta Road is one of the best places for sofas and bed frames. They have amazing deals most of the times. They accept zip, latitude and go mastercard installment payments in here. Dipti who's a sales agent here helped us with the entire process and also helped us with all the details in picking the furniture. They have amazing customer service. I highly recommend this place.

We bought Dining Table which is solid wood and really good. Johnny furniture was not able to deliver because warehouse was closed but we pick it up. IT was really heavy and it took us some time to move it. Build quality and packaging was awesome and We like it. We felt delivery charges too high compare to other stores for heavy items, Even though we didn't pay it as we picked up from ware house.

Recently bought a sofa from them. Once it was delivered, noticed stain on it. Upon further investigation, I found out that they sold a used sofa to me with stain. They must have very bad quality control procedures where a stained sofa is sold to a customer. Very dissatisfied with the purchase and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy any furniture from them :(

Ok product but really bad service when it comes to insurances. I bought one for my leather sofa as they are partners with Product Care Insurance and they offer it as part of the sell. I've been waiting 5 months for a resolution of either replacing a cushion or giving me the money back. Still waiting. Go buy somewhere else - this is not worth it.

It is the worst place no one help we got a coffee table it was defect and the nail not go on the right place we talk to them after waiting for 2 and half month then we call them no one help at all they stole our money and said we can’t help they lies dishonest not recommended at all the table for $1000 really bad and disappointed.

Had a very average experience here. The furniture looks ok, but most things are not available as they only ship it from China after you have paid and placed your order. This could take 6-12 weeks. Also, the store was understaffed. They only had two people working but with many potential customers wanting to ask questions.

Ive been trying to replace a TV unit that is faulty and under warranty for the past 3 months and they have done nothing but give me the run around. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a little bit of false advertising though as the Google search says cheap when the furniture was not cheap. The store actually had some very nice and unique style of furniture. The sales staff are prepared to make a good discount.

Poor quality Couches. We bought our couch from them for $2000 but in two years, the stitches are coming apart and the faux leather is peeling. I wish we invested a little more and bought a good brand one
