Dr.Kozak has been the most reliable, informative, sensitive, kind hearted Doctor I have ever met. It was Devine intervention one winters night at the Fruitland vet I noticed a new clinic as new residents from Alberta with chronic pain issues and newly developing and extensive medical needs. We walked in and his wife Cindy was so warm and flattering with a maternal like persona that made my partner and I feel that we were going to be taken in like (descriptively speaking) FAMILY! I love Cindy and her husband and can’t say a single negative thing about them. Paula, some may not know her but she does all the back end and at the same time always checks in on our wellbeing. Cindy is the same, she senses a bad day and has a way that turns it around with even just a light hand gesture and soft voice “are you good?” and DR KOZAK !!(can’t find a word to describe) if he was a Diamond he would be a VF virtually flawless right from the mine. I’m not scared to say that mental health is real and stress and trauma can cause serious harm to one’s wellbeing mental and physical health. He like his wife senses these things and one day Dr. Kozak pretended to hand me a card and said “put this in your back pocket, if things get too much…. Pull that card and without question I will snatch you out of that situation whether it’s work or anything and everything it takes” Tears and relief knowing that I had a life line gave me strength to push through for months. He is always putting his patients situation whether physical or mental first and seriously. He fights/supports/stands by his prognosis and evolves his prognosis as more testing comes in (in which he will send you for testing, specialists and everything in between for years until he is satisfied and monitors it thru to the end. He is calm confident very informative on the whys and hows and what’s and dos and fonts while being quick acting and won’t quit until your health, well-being, mental and physical health is PS: they work hard and if anyone knows what that means, it means that anyone who gives less than 5 or 10 stars if you could, just think about the hours that are put in to running that clinic with only one doctor one receptionist his wife who handles a lot of medical procedures and Paula who is counselling and running all the forms and financials and business and probably 99% more that I don’t even know of. While I have had only good experiences with Dr Kazak, I believe the current front desk admin needs to be looked into, she is extremely rude and impatient! Imagine your first point of contact in a clinic telling your clients “I have over 1,500 patients” so she can’t give me a piece of information… and eventually hung up on me, how can this be a place where lives are being saved, this is an all time low as I have never had such an experience in previous clinics I visited, is this clinic only about money or are you also interested in the wellbeing of your patients? There should be a way to communicate your point “if valid” without all that rudeness like you’re there to do me a favor and able to cut me off whenever you dim fit!

Went into this location was hoping to find a new doctor very desperate. Was very upset that day ..expressed my concerns to the blonde haired lady with glasses at the front which was a waste of time. She told me that I would get a call soon and I filled out new patient paperwork. I never received a call from anyone from this location. Why then advertise accepting new patients? Was also told this Dr tries to lean people off certain drug medications...and doesn't like to deal with WSIB patients. That is enough to deter me. Also have heard from numberous patients this doctor will nickel and dime you for everything. Thanks for not calling me because I wouldn't want to be a patient here anyways.

Dr Joseph Kozak and his whole team is perfect match of true professionals taking care of patients in their clinic. I have been to few other Doctors but Dr. Kozak takes time to investigate and provides best care for his patients. Many times, when I have any health issue, Dr Kozak gives a very satisfactory solution and answers to my concerns. If need be for any specialist appointment, Dr Kozak Clinic staff will take the time to get you specialist appointment quickly. Dr Kozak long professional knowledgeable experience is an Asset for his many patients. All I can say is that Dr Joseph Kozak really means a person you can discuss your health issue for a very satisfactory solution.

A very good doctor surrounded by the Worst possible staff. Both front ladies are most non courteous, extremely rude & ruthless. They’ve created quite an unhealthy-stressful atmosphere . Sadly this experience is shared based on multiple visits. It is understandable if someone is having a bad day. But they have been constantly unpleasant with least compassion or respect for Dr Kozak’s patients. I, on one of my previous visits, witnessed a mom-creating scene at the way her daughter had been talked to for losing a prescription & again witnessed Dr’s wife being rude to another lady patient today. I have had a real rollercoaster of experiences with Doctor's since immigrating to Canada. I hate to say it, but male physicians especially have really done a lot of damage to my trust in G.P's. The total opposite can be said for Dr. Kozak. Between his lovely, accommodating team and the good Doctor himself, you could not wish for a better experience. He listens. He validates. He CARES! For anyone in doubt, his reviews speak for themselves. With Dr. Kozak I feel completely heard and validated. He will even discuss more holistic methods as well as the usual Rx. You could not wish for a more compassionate, dedicated physician.

My boyfriend and I became new patient’s of Dr. Kozak back in November 2021. We are beyond happy with the care we are receiving! We love all the staff members as well. They have been so kind, sweet, and extremely helpful to us! We are currently on our fertility journey and because of that there are a lot of follow up calls and extra communication required. They have been so eager to support us through a situation that can be difficult at times. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE AT DR. KOZAK’S OFFICE!!!

Dr. Kozak is a very knowledgeable and a highly professional doctor. I've been to many doctors and to be honest some of them didn't even know what was wrong with me. Dr. Kozak has always figured out the root cause of my problem and followed up with the best way to treat it. My experience with him has been nothing but great and stress free as he always knows what he's doing. Ever since I came across him he's been my family doctor. Would highly recommend you go check him out.

This doctor needs to be cloned if possible, he actually listens, gives feedback to your comments, and calls you himself with test results rather than dragging you back into the office... and still does... get ready for this... house calls, to elderly patients where he recently closed his practice of many years before moving it to Stoney Creek. What a gem of a man, and his philosophy of caring extends to his wife, Cindy, his medical technician, and receptionist, Carolyn.

Worst Doctor I've been to. He doesn't wear a mask, he didn't follow up with my doctor, he made me wait for an hour for my appointment, which was 17 minutes long. He sent me home with a handful of pills without listening to my concerns. He didn't listen to my symptoms, didn't wait for me to finished explaining my mental health diagnoses, but then prescribed me with anti-depressants, which would have affected my other mental health conditions... Don't waste your time.

Started off with bad service with the receptionist when I tried to transfer my file from a previous Dr. Was put on antibiotics for a stomach infection before my blood work for the infection came back. Realized I was pregnant, Dr said antibiotics were fine to take. Got a second opinion and the second Dr said to stop imidiately as the antibiotics were advised against taking while pregnant. Dr was nice but I went back to my original Dr

I am one of the first patients of Dr. Kozak. I was looking for a doctor for myself and my family as our previous Doctor had retired. Let me tell you that DR. KOZAK is heaven sent. An exceptional doctor who is passionate about treating and caring for his patients. Dr. Kozak sets the bar of excellence very high and would be hard to beat by the other doctors who herd their patients through their office like cattle. Bravo Dr Kozak.

He has been my doctor since, has it been 40 years? He's always attentive to my concerns. And his advice / medication / treatment has always proven effective. When I heard he was moving to Stoney Creek I determined that I would make the 45-minute extra drive so that I could keep seeing him. Worth it.

Dr Kozak leaves on vacation does not inform patients that the office is closed for extended holidays. without telling patients that does not see him other the phone call. meds are empty and no one can call in prescription

These folks really care about how you are and how your treatment goes. I always feel it’s completely personalized and very friendly. Dr. Kozak is unlike any other doctor I met. They listen. They care.

Dr. Kozak is a decent doctor who is nice and personable. The lady at the front is so rude and unprofessional that I decided to no longer be a patient there.

You can't find Doctors like Dr. Kozak anymore, he's amazing. He truly is knowledgeable, passionate, and sympathetic towards about his patients.

Dr. Kozak has been my general physician for over 30 years. He has a busy well-staffed Clinic, but is always quick to help.

FYI he has moved his practice to Stoney Creek as of October 2019.
