This little gem resides in the Energy Cooridor area. Booking was so easy and I was able to do it online. The Salon itself is really clean and I appreciated all the privacy screens in between all the customers to allow some privacy to talk to my own stylist. I read countless reviews and it seemed like every stylist was going to be a winner. I ended up choosing Abigail and I absolutely LOVED her. I came in really nervous about cutting my hair from a previous haircut elsewhere. I also was wishy washy with what I wanted to do and relied on her to help me make some of the decisions. Abigail was so patient and gave me lots of input/advice to help me make a decision without being pushy. I trusted her completely and she gave me the haircut of my dreams. One thing I want to mention is that Abigail did something that I really appreciated. I came in wanting to cut off 8-9 inches. To be sure that that was what I wanted...Abigail's first cut was wasn't as short as I originally asked because she wanted to make sure that I was okay with the length before the point of no return. I really was grateful for this service because it allowed me to confidently cut off the significant amount that I wanted. I went into work today and got over 20 compliments. I have already shared the salon and her name to anyone and everyone that has asked me about my new hairdo. You will not be disappointed with Abigail!

If I could give them zero stars I would. They have no clue what customer service means. You don't advise a customer mid-service that their price has gone up 250% because the new technician doing your color got a promotion. They failed to advise PRIOR to arrival. I was literally in the Shampoo area lying down with my color applied on my hair processing when Front Desk decided to come over and let me know that my service would be 250% more than previously billed. WHAT?!?!?! Don't think for a second -- they wouldn't do this to you. They had plenty of opportunities -- when they contacted me to schedule the appointment. When they called to confirm the appointment. I mean don't you think a customer should know if you are going to charge them more -- PRIOR to service being rendered? When I asked for a Manager - they said, "Oh they're not here - I will call them." When they came back they offered a very small dollar amount off. And that's only after they realized they wouldn't be able to finish blowdrying me because the person who booked my appointment failed to block enough time for my finish. So I walk out with half wet hair and paying hundreds of dollars more than what I should have been charged. Ridiculous.

Crazy times, but even so our appointment was very disorganized and rushed. I finally made it to the salon after being called same day TWICE to reschedule. No big deal, I’m pretty flexible these days so I rode through it. At the salon with two appointments one for me and one for my daughter at the same time but my stylist is “stuck in traffic”. Unprofessional to say to a client. So they find me another stylist but this person is in a higher price bracket so I end up having to pay extra to wait longer past my appointment time for them to figure it out, and for a stylist who tried but was in a hellacious hurry because I’m guessing from a few context clues that I was stealing this person’s lunch break. My cut ended up being very good and I bet I would love the stylist if I got an actual scheduled appointment and my daughters appointment seemed really good but we didn’t end up doing anything together or near each other so I’m not entirely sure. Pretty disappointed that our very first mother daughter salon outing ended up so disorganized and rushed. I wasn’t expecting that after so many years of consistency but I haven’t been in probably over a year so it’s been a while.

I recently had my hair styled by the talented and professional stylist, Patricia. From the moment I walked into the salon, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Patricia took the time to listen to my needs and concerns, asking thoughtful questions to ensure she understood exactly what I was hoping to achieve. Throughout the styling process, Patricia provided clear and helpful guidance, sharing her thoughts on the best cut and color for my hair type and face shape. Her attention to detail was impressive, and I left feeling confident that my new style would look great from all angles. Perhaps most importantly, Patricia was an absolute pleasure to work with. She exuded positivity and enthusiasm, making the styling process feel like a true collaboration rather than a transaction. Her energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and I left feeling not only satisfied with my new style, but also uplifted by the experience as a whole. Overall, I would highly recommend Patricia to anyone looking for a talented and professional hair stylist. Her skills, attention to detail, and positive energy make her an absolute standout in her field.

I am so disappointed at this place. I booked a 45 min massage and a 60 min facial. I started with the massage and then I went for a facial. The lady took 15- 20 doing me the actual <> and the rest she was just doing a massage on my face, my arms and my shoulders (the same massage I had before). And then I was like maybe I made a mistake while booking. But no, I went to the front desk and guess what they told me !That next time tell them to focus on face. It’s <> where else are they supposed to focus on? So if I get a body massage I should tell them to focus on my body? And then she told me I should have told her on the consultation prior to the facial and told I did not get a consultation (I guess they forgot). If I knew the rest of the time she would do a massage I would have just booked a 30 min facial. I was so excited to go there as a treat for my birthday. Because there were customers around and I respect the buisness I was calm I paid my bill and left.

I cannot recommend Josephine's enough. Josephine's provides a level of service that is rare these days. They do not over-schedule because I have never had to wait even 5 minutes for my stylist. The early weekday morning appointments are really convenient, and the wash with aromatherapy hand massage is a very nice touch. But most importantly, I found Kristy by pure accident. I arrived for my 8am appointment a week early because I had the date wrong. They didn't just send me away. Instead they found a stylist who could squeeze me in on a minute's notice. Kristy agreed to cut my hair even though she had another client she was working with as well. I am so happy she did, because her cut is probably the best haircut I ever had. I went back to see her a couple of weeks later for full highlights. I am convinced that she is the most talented stylist I have been to. Do not even hesitate to make an appointment at Josephine's. You will not find another salon like it.

Edited to add: The manager called me and offered another fix for my hair. I denied the fix so she refunded me the price of the hair cut. She also refunded me the difference in price for the massage and facial. Do not go here for a hair cut. I did the big chop here and when I got home, realized it was very uneven everywhere. I went back to get it fixed by someone else but they ended up making it worse. The back is still uneven. The picture below was after they tried to fix it. The only good thing about this place are the facials. Carol did an amazing job and I felt very relaxed. This is the only reason I gave this place 2 stars. The massage was so so. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. Also, I was texting Daniella about the Groupon prices and she confirmed that I would pay $64 for a massage and $64 for a facial. When I went to pay they told me they cannot honor that and it would be $80 each. Overall, I do not recommend this place.

I’ve been going to Josephine’s Day Spa & Salon for about 6 months now. Abigail is amazing! I go for a balayage and haircut - it is always exactly what I want! Abigail is an amazing hair stylist. She was able to make suggestions for what would look best for me. I get so many compliments on my hair! Can’t recommend her enough! The salon is also very nice. I hardly ever have to wait. I am checked in right away. I am always offered snacks and beverages. They even offer aroma therapy while you get shampooed. The one thing I find odd about this salon, though, is that they do not allow tipping.. on one hand their pricing is nice because it is very transparent. On the other hand, it does feel a bit weird to not be able to tip my hairstylist when she does such an amazing job. I’m not from this area, though, so I’m not sure if that’s something “normal” here.

I like every step of the process. I like that I can make an appointment and see the availability calendar online. I like that there’s almost never a line to check in and check out. I like the hair washing area and it’s very comfortable on my neck and back, which is not the case at other salons. I like that it’s never a loud atmosphere, it’s always calm and relaxing. I’ve always had a great experience with the hair stylists. I like that they always understand exactly what I want. I like that I never feel rushed. And I really like that I don’t have to figure out the tip amount because they don’t allow customers to tip the employees. So I always know how much my hair cut or color will cost. Overall it’s a great experience. I’ve moved away from the area and still travel 45 minutes to this salon. It’s the best salon I’ve ever found.

Their front desk is a MESS! Haven’t been to them in years. Booked someone under my name. Honest mistake, so I called to cancel. They called again trying to confirm. When I spoke to the gentleman with the high-pitched voice, I let him know that I have already canceled (because I didn’t even make the appointment!) Before I even finished the sentence, he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to the woman and just let her know that a customer (who was booked incorrectly) is coming in and gave the description of the service. Deleted my number out of their client list. Michelle is too high & mighty to do a simple cut for me, which is why I stopped going in the first place. The fact that this gentleman hung up on me for HIS mistake is a bonus to why I will never go back

I had a great experience with Isaac. I’m brand new to Josephine’s and was made to feel welcome. Isaac was punctual and friendly. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. We talked about my haircut, deciding on overall length and face framing layers. The hair wash was great, and I especially loved the products and warm towel at my hairline. I like how Isaac listened to what I wanted and also expressed an opinion. I could sense Isaac’s talent and creativity. There was a sense of adventure as Isaac told me what he was doing every stage of the way. He cut the overall length first while my hair was wet and then added face framing when my hair was dry. Isaac was positive and energetic. He truly made me feel special and I left feeling renewed. I will be back!

I have used the same hair stylist for years and I really didn’t want to drive to the Tomball area when I finally had time in my week to get my haircut before a Christmas work related party in the evening. Andrea was welcoming and very skilled. Andrea listened how I explained I enjoyed my hair grow out for a while before it started to become heavy as well as make me feel self conscious as it started to lose style. Andrea took my information for what I was considering for my hair to add style back to it with the limited wording I had to describe what I wanted to achieve, since I didn’t have a picture for reference, and gave me a beautiful cut. I could easily return just to have Andrea cut and style my hair again.

Abigail is awesome! My hair was at shoulder length and came in for a bob cut with some layers, and asked for a color consultation. I like how professional they are, so I booked a second appointment to get balayage. I told her I wanted light brown with subtle dusty pink. Under the sunlight I can see a hint of pink and I just love the mix of reddish light tbrown! The quick hand massages in the middle of the toning process was a surprise - I've never been to one offering that. They're professional and friendly. The recliner is more comfortable (especially for the neck) than most salons I've been to. Overall it's great experience! I'd definitely come back when I stay in town a lot longer!

Jae is the best! Red is such a complicated color to get right and stylists at other salons often make it too bright or too dark, but he nailed it! I’ve done other colors and highlights with him and I always leave so happy with my hair. You won’t be disappointed! As for the salon, top-notch service all the way around. They are always so professional and nice. Edited to add: I’ve tried to find closer salons and stylists to me as Josephine’s is an hour drive one-way (without traffic), but I always go back because I’ve always left happy!

Basel is amazing! He is a wizard when it comes to color and highlights and just amazing with cuts and styling. I can’t recommend him enough. I have very thick hair and he’s able to give me a cut that looks great and that I can manage on my own without thinning. In the past stylists have thinned and it just causes frizz and flyaways. I also just love all the little extras at Josephine’s - aromatherapy and hand massage. What a great salon!

I had a wonderful experience at Josephine's day spa from beginning to end. After getting my hairwash, I received a complimentary hand massage which was a pleasant surprise! Then after that I met Michelle who is a total hair master! I'm so happy I found her, she really understood my hair and how to cut it to achieve my desired look. I'm pretty picky with my bob so this means a lot. I just moved to the area and happy my search is over.

I've always been hesitant to get my hair cut in the US because not many stylists are familiar with thick Indian hair. But Isaac was fantastic! He knew precisely what would look good and he considered my inputs as well, and the overall experience was excellent!

Basel has always done my hair lovely. Gets what I want. I moved recently then back again and another place ruined my color. So glad I’m back, I know he’ll fix me up. He listens to his clients but is also realistic and honest so your hair stays healthy.
