"Clean and the parking was well organised"
"An adorable little treasure in Simon's Town"
"Every time I come to Simonstown I am amazed by how well preserved the history of the town is"
"Safe place to leave your vehicle, and central to the town"
This place has a great vibe. There is wonderful, creative and clever handwork which makes great souvenirs or gifts. The views of the harbour are really picturesque. There are a couple of great places to eat at or just for a coffee. The parking area is always full, so you may have to find parking else where. The paving is quite bumpy plus there are stairs or different levels which make it not wheelchair accessible.
Clean and the parking was well organised. The traders were not quite to my liking but probably interests international tourists i.e curios. Keep plastic, electric/electronic gadgets and cheap imports away, is a must. Information Centre was handy, directed us quickly and politely to the Town Hall and the Toy Museum/Shop. Pity about the pollution in the water, noticed it almost everywhere along the coastline.
An adorable little treasure in Simon's Town. Little stalls with curios and restaurants make this spot a must visit for anyone in the area. Our family enjoyed reading about the town's history on the wall a couple of meters outside the square and the view at the dock is incredible.
Every time I come to Simonstown I am amazed by how well preserved the history of the town is. It is clean and well kept. The Jubilee square market is great. There are many things to see and many restaurants to dine at. One of my favorite places in the whole of South Africa.
Safe place to leave your vehicle, and central to the town. From here you can explore the whole town, North and South by foot, and not worry about your four wheels. Restaurants and Museums are nearby. Just Nuisance, the Naval Dog has an honorary spot here on this square.
It is set in a beautiful place, the hawkers are a bit demanding which detracts a little bit overall still worth a visit. Ideal of you want to get some curios. Visit Just nNuisance and have a explore his story.

Fascinating outline of the most prominent historical naval figures and ships associated with Simons Town. The awesome Nuisance, the heart-rending sinking of the SS Mendi and the canons all make for an informative few minutes and some good photographs.
Great for visitors to explore downtown Simon’s town. Park your car or get an Uber and explore all the vintage shopping , restaurants and water activities.

Lovely place to see the ocean. A port for sailors and Fishermen. The square has a wonderful arts and crafts market as well where you can by hand crafted African goods. Across the way you can find some unique stores and small cafes.
Really stunning place to take a few pics with Able Seaman Just Nuisance for those who are fans of Naval history and memorabilia. Instgrammable pictures with blue skies, yachts, mountains and deep Lapis sea in the background.
This was such a unique experience. I had a breather before I had to go into a huge meeting. This inspired my mindset. I will advise anyone who need rustic settings and peace of mind.
Simons Town is a true gem in the western cape. This town is steeped in history as the South Africa Naval Base is situated here. Loads of antique stores and cafes for tourists
"...Great Historical Atmosphere! Stroll up the road and visit the Toy Museum! And pay a visit to the Pearl Shop - opposite the Car Park, hidden away in the Shops!!! "
Beautiful shady square in the town centre. Historic walks daily starting at ten. Laid back little village with stunning little shops. Do pay this spot a visit!
Beautiful area, right on the waterfront. Several restaurants right at the square, highly recommend Cafe Pescado. And there are shops and local vendors also.
Beautiful view. Easy access to parking which is r4 per 30mins. Stalls in same area + restaurants. Access to small section of the beach and to the jetty
Great to remember the SS Mendi and Just Nuisance

My kids loved riding 'Just Nuisance' and browsing the African crafts. There was a marimba player that was really good.
Beautiful views, nice varieties of restaurants, trinkets and nice treats to have while enjoying the sea …
Visit Quarter Deck for some tea and scones before walking on the pier, might be lucky and see a pajama shark.
Great atmosphere at one of Cape Towns best seaside towns. Good food at reasonable prices as well.
If you in the area, you have to visit Just Nuisance and research his history. An amazing story!
Lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by, relaxing in this quaint little village square
