I first met Jessie Killen from Judy Lindsay Realty when I was looking to rent my condo a couple of years ago. My wife had used a Judy Lindsay Realtor in the past and had a very favorable experience, so I called to see if they did property management as well, which I found out they did, and Jessie ended up being my rep. I met Jessie at my condo to go take a walk through to determine if it needed to get anything done to it prior to renting and also to determine a rental price. When I first saw her, I thought she was quite young and wasn’t sure how much experience she would be bringing. I have gone through a couple of renters now and it has been seamless on my end. Jessie keeps me updated on everything. She also ensures prompt payment from the renters and I never have to contact her to see where my payment is. Renting and managing my own condo would be a lot of work and very stressful but Jessie has made it pain free and stress free. We met with a listing agent RB from the Judy Lindsay Team earlier in February 2022 as we were getting ready to begin our house hunting. He give us a market value evaluation of our house and connected us with a colleague, SDS realtor to start looking for a new home. We wanted to find our dream home ( downsizing) first before selling ours. Judy Lindsay contacted me on Facebook Market Place to buy a fridge for her property management company that my mother was selling. She asked me to make arrangements with my elderly mother to accommodate a pick up on that day. We made calls, put people out of their way, one person canceled a hospital visit to their own mother to accommodate her and stood by while she pretended she was interested in pursuing the deal. I want to say that I understand that Facebook Market can be a lawless zone but there is something so telling about a person who plays that kind of game on Facebook Market. If you’ve ever had your time wasted on there by a person, you know what I mean and how insulting it is to have a stranger waste your energy. I’m so done with it and am calling people out for their bad behaviour. It hurts no one to tell them you have a change of heart and end the interaction respectfully instead of doing that awful thing where you just drop off and don’t show up and don’t show basic respect to people. If she can’t manage respectful business on that platform, I would be willing to guess she does not really have your interest at heart in her property management either. Very rude.

Renting with Judy Lindsey has been a daunting experience. We took over a sublet for 3 months, paid the deposit and when the 3 months were done they refuse to return our security deposit. The property manager made several claims and excuses on why they won't return the deposit, the main one being that we signed a contract to have the lease auto-renew for another year but they are not able to provide any documentation to prove this. We just needed a place to stay for 3 months and we made that very clear! The old property manager conveniently does not work there anymore and the new property manager is rude and claims that she does not know what happened since she was not there. I don't ever give negative Google reviews, in fact this is the first time I'm doing this. But this experience has been horrible, dealing with unprofessional property managers who can't seem to back up any of their claims.
