A smart and kind real estate lawyer Shounak Mehta @ Juriscorp Law Offices is a consummate professional and my husband and I had an excellent experience working with him to sell our house in Edmonton and we were in the process of moving to another province and he made the process as smooth as possible. We were sellers with a lot of questions; Shounak was a knowledgeable lawyer who answered all our questions and was happy to explain every step of the process. Most importantly, Shounak broke down every legal term in the lengthy and complicated contract so that we would understand what we were doing. He is a skilled negotiator who knew which provisions to change to our benefit. Every time a difficulty arose, Shounak knew how to deal with it. Shounak is smart, realistic, efficient, pleasant, and very experienced: all the qualities that you want in a lawyer who is helping you buy or sell your house.

This is the useless place and I have very very bad experience from here. I bought the house and Shounak Mehta was the lawyer. I have no idea about this guy, but my relator referred him. His dealing was very nice until I bought the house and he hold $2000 from the seller because did not finish some repair work. Shounak told me if they are not do the repair work, he will release that money for doing the repair work. The seller never finish the repair work and no more money. When I tried to contact Shounak through the cell phone and email he never answered. Still the repair work is not done and its more than one year. Its the major repair on the roof of my house. No ethics for his job and do something until get his fees, Once settled his money no more. Never ever recommend to anyone to this guy and I would like to zero ratings.

One of the worst law firms I dealt with. I was in the process of buying a commercial business. All papers were sent from the bank to him in July. All what I was supposed to do in september 2nd was just go to his office to sign the papers and get the property 3 days after I sign. He started asking me for extra papers 2 days before closing and when I asked him why are you waiting last minute to ask for these documents . He said the lender is asking for these papers . I talked to the lender, the lender sent me a proof that those documents were asked for in July. When I asked Shounak about an explanation ,he just ignored me and never gave me an explanation. I had to pay penalty more than $2000 Will never deal with him again
