I love this jewelry store. Always a great selection of incredible and one of a kind pieces. I could spend hours just to see everything. Then I choose my favorites for trip that day purchase and take with to add to my collection that I already have from all prior trips to my favorite store. Prices are great and my husband is very excited when I come home and still have money in my purse. Joking.. well kinda...he is happy when I still have money left. The owner is super cool and always helpful and informative regarding jewelry. I like that and then have a little background on what I have. As much as I would like to keep all these treasures for myself it would not be fair to everyone to get some treasures themselves so I highly recommend EVERYONE to stop by and get started on their collection too. Like I said it's my favorite store and very likely will be many of your favorites too.

I’m a fan for over 20 years. The best place to shop for gifts for everyone, especially yourself as a way to alleviate covid blues and as a way to support local artisans without breaking the bank. This never has been the store where you’ve seen it all in all the other stores. Tantau has a very discerning eye and excellent taste. And she was the first person in the world to see the value of recycling typewriter keys for jewelry. Of course, there always has been a highly intelligent cat in charge of the place, so there’s that. As Stefan would say, this place has everything - a perfectly brilliant shop, safely away from crowds, with a neighboring place to eat, that cat, and all the cheering up you could ask for.

Spend all the time you want in a calm, wonderful space, where each item offers a different idea, background, laugh, and view of the world. Take your time and just look to feed your eyes, ask Carol questions and she will answer, delighted by your interest, rather than annoyed at an interruption. Go outside and grab a bite to eat or sit on her welcoming entry courtyard, then come in and find that one thing you've been looking for, the special one that you didn't even know you had to have. You will come back to again. Meeting Ricky is an extra treat.

This place has moved to west adams just east of fairfax. So much more spacious and creative with the new shop, and cool list of activities scheduled there during the week. The typewriter jewelry would make great gifts for both him and her.
