Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had with any “jeweler”. When we came in, we had a budget… we were shown rings out of that budget and of course I fell in love with one that was out of our price range. We bought the ring but had to get it resized. When we came in to get it, the manager kept trying to hire me but I was completely uninterested as my job pays almost 3 times what they do. Then, we had to get my wedding band resized. The lady kept trying to get me to solder my rings together and I told her numerous times no but she kept on and would not stop. Then, we went to pick up the band as we got an email that day at 5:07 to go pick it up and got there at 6… the manger closed up shop over an hour early and there were four people standing on the curb very irritated and frustrated, me included and rightfully so. I called the store and they said they were closed and I said there’s nothing posted on the door just that they were closed Wednesday - it’s Tuesday - and why would I get an email saying my ring was ready and I could go pick it up that day during business hours which we did and get turned away? She just kept saying they were closed. EXTREMELY unprofessional and I will never be coming back to this Kay Jewelers location ever again after I pick up my band, whenever that may be.
Frustrating experience. The first time I went in was Black Friday. Computer system was slow and took forever to bring up my account and get my order placed. Went back 12/8 to pick up said order and asked to see a watch as well. I have two young kids and they were both with me and behaving but still in a bit of a time crunch. I asked to see a watch and got told I’d have to wait to speak to a sales person because the lady behind the counter couldn’t help me. I’ve spent quite a bit through the years with Kay’s because they always have taken care of me. This location however did not make me feel this way. I will not be returning and will have to really consider using them in the future.
I have to admit. My first experience with KAY was NOT a good one! The “forever ring” that my Husband and I had chosen turned out not to be the right fit for me. Many mishaps would ensue and we were ready to return it. But the Store Manager, Brittany, God Bless her, went out of her way to make sure that I was a VERY happy Customer. After listening to my wants and needs we chose a another ring. Now the next ring had baguettes I don’t like baguette type rings but I decided to give it a try. Turns out.. it’s the PERFECT ring! My “Forever Ring”! Thank you Brittany, Laurie and All for going above and beyond to make this lady happy! And trust me.. that ain’t easy to do! Lol
I cant express enough how happy I am to have chosen this location to upgrade my ring and my husband's. This is our 10 year marriage anniversary. I couldn't have asked for a better sales person than Kristine. Kristine went above and beyond to help us choose exactly what we were looking for. She has great knowledge, recommendations, patience and gets the exact value for your money. You will not be disappointed with her reccomendations. Kristine you are very well appreciated I thank you for keeping me updated throughout the entire process. If I'm in the market for more jewelry. You will be my go to person. Thanks again.
I went into this Kay’s to shop around for different styles of engagement rings and get a sense of what I like. Everyone working there was so kind and helpful. I spent well into an hour just trying different rings and wraps on to see what looks best on my hand. I never felt like I was being pressured to buy anything or felt like a burden. I brought my boyfriend in later that evening to look at the styles I had picked out and was again greeted by the same extremely helpful and generous employees. I would definitely recommend this Kay’s.
Ashley, Leslie, and Carrie were absolutely amazing!!! They recommended some amazing rings that I didn’t even think about and one I ended up with vs the one I originally had in mind. They were very helpful with sizing and everything! They are all super friendly and I look forward to seeing them again when I pick up my ring and will definitely recommend this store vs the one at the mall.
I ordered line for 24 he in store pick-up and let me just say that the customer service here was beyond exceptional! The staff was as excited as I was to be picking up the Christmas gift I ordered online. Fast convenient, and super friendly. Thank you Kay for having fabulous service! This was truly a great experience.
I live Kay Jewelers because do they not just have great jewelry and sales but they also have lay always. If anything happens to your rings or necklaces they will help you out with it about getting it repair or fixed. They are friendly and helpful. The services is great. I won't go anywhere for jewelry but Kay's.
I cannot stress enough how fantastic Kristi the store manager was. I had an issue with an online order and had spent hours on the phone. Kristi herself spent close to 2 hours on the phone with customer support and did not stop without a resolution to the issue. Would highly recommend.
Amazing friendly service from Sarah and manager Brittany every time I visit. They're so nice and welcoming that you can be patient. Never go to Greenwood mall to be rushed come to Southport Kay's and Sarah won't let you down with her customer service!! Thank you the whole team.
Kristi, the manager, was incredible with my 8 year old’s piercing. She was attentive and respectful of his apprehension and calmed his nerves! She was kind from our first steps into the store and gave great instructions on after care! Definitely made a little boy very happy!
They didn't have what I came for but Ariel saw what had envisioned and made the suggestion I build my own enhancer. And it came out as a perfect look and fit as well as being cheeper even with warranty etc. The entire team was helpful thought the entire process.
The staff here go out of their way to find what fits YOU. They seem less worried about making a sale and more about making their customers happy. This store will always be my first stop for jewelry just for the excellent customer service. Sara is amazing.

Friendly staff! Very knowledgable on products. They also are very accommodating and helped me with any issues I had. It was also nice to come to the store instead of inside of the mall!
The ladies are always super friendly and helpful. They always ask what I have been up to and any future plans. They are not pushy as a lot of sales people are. Kudos ladies …

As of 10/2/2022, their hours for Sundays are not up to date. My husband just went to the Southport Commons location to find them closed at 4:15pm EST.
