Hello Everyone, Wanted to share my experience to let everyone know what they are getting themselves into. When enrolling their children into this school. Good Morning Team Peacemakers, I'm reaching out to you regarding my son (identity removed). On October 21st. Many of you expressed concerns about ( identity removed) classroom expectations. A lot of helpful information was giving out to assisted my child with his reading growth. Since than I learned that (identity removed) really love Istation. However, he is having some difficulties in the triple digit multiplication area. Hi(identity removed) , I’m glad to see your investment in (identity removed)education! Based on the daily workload, teachers will not be able to email you every Tuesday and Thursday. However, they are both committed to making sure that (identity removed) gets everything he needs and will inform you if they have any concerns. Hi Dr.William, Can you contact me at your earliest convenience. Regarding my attempted to effectively communicate with the school on the behalf of my child (identity removed). Good Evening Dr.William, Please respond to this email within 2 to 3 business days. Please refer to the above email as this is my second attempt. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Hi(identity removed) , I responded to your Thursday evening email by tring to call you on Friday between 12:30 and 12:45 pm. but there was no answer. The teachers will keep you updated weekly through the Wednesday folder. If there is a more urgent need then they will reach out to you via phone or email. On Friday Oct 28th many of you expressed concerns yet again about (identity removed) classroom behavior expectations. That said, One of the ways that I would like to target the area classroom behavior is to keep an open line of communication with all of his teachers. I would like to implement an check-in email every Tuesday and Thursday with the team. This will help us to form a better relationship with one another and give you'll way to learn more about (identity removed). Good Morning Dr.William, I apologize if I missed your call. However, I don't seem to have any missed calls from you. Did you leave me a voicemail? Regarding my attempt to get the school to effectively communication. I am attempting to reach out to you as well as all of (identity removed) teachers to notify everyone that. I haven't been receiving my child Wednesday folder on a consistent basis. Meaning that on some Wednesdays no information is given to my student to bring home for me to review is there a reason why? The communication with this particular school seems to be off all the way around. Which is why I've been trying to schedule a meeting with you at superintendent Ali request. I personally feel that the school could use some help in the communication department starting with Class Dojo and the Wednesday folders. I noticed that a lot of the teachers do not use ClassDojo to communicate with the parents is there a reason why? I also noticed that the teacher who does use Class Dojo only use it from time to time. KIPP Peace have the pleasure of having a wonderful student at their school which is my student. (identity removed). He is very smart and stay engaged & is always eager to learn. He loves to see his progress on a daily basis. Everyday he gets off the bus he is so excited and looks forward to Class Dojo giving him constructive criticism or kudos. Lately, he hasn't had the privilege of seeing neither. This could affect a child thought process especially by him being so young. We want like to keep (identity removed) motivated and excited about this school year. So with the help of some of the peace maker team we came up with the idea to do a weekly email communication. Was there someone that was not willing to get on board? If so there's other ways to effectively communicate. I'm here to help you support our student. However, I don't want to hear about the bad news only. I want to hear about the good news as well. I hope you understand. My son don't like this school!

Do not. I repeat, do NOT send your children to this campus! The staff is unreliable, unprofessional, and incompetent. They don't return phone calls and dont follow up on things they are supposed to do. Their office staff for the school bus company is piss poor horrible and unprofessional, especially the older black guy who drives. They suspended one of my nephews off the bus for allegedly fighting, when it was really a whole different child! My nephew was sitting next to his brother watching the fight happening! And then my other nephew was suspended off the bus for defending his brother! Like those people have to be out their rabbit a$$ mind!!! Proper staff was phoned, but of course when you're dealing with ignorant a$$ unprofessional black folks you know what type of response I got. I'm so sick of that school. My nephew was blamed for a fight and he doesn't even fight, lol. And to top it off, they have video cameras on the damn bus! I'd rather send to a much better school, for FREE, than pay a tuition and have them going to KIPP Academy. Trash.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to enroll thier children at this school. The faculty is very disorganized, the teachers don't teach they put the kids on the computer half of the day, plus the have a very disorganized class room. They have children with different learning abilities in one class. Not right because this is how they retain students for not learning at their level. They suspending children for everything. A child in 2nd grade got expelled for pressing the fire alarm... Students that have specific disability is not getting the program that they need. So parents don't enrolled your child/children in that school, they will will fail your child before they can figure out the problem.

My son attended KIPP Shine so when we moved I thought all KIPPs were on the same level and curriculum. Boy was I wrong. Absolutely worst experience I have ever had with a school. Very unorganized. The school day has absolutely no structure.
