All I needed was a shift cable for a Honda!! It has been in their shop for 3 1/2 weeks. I have called consistently, to be told the part has been ordered, then not ordered, canceled and so forth. I was contacted 1 time by the girl up front, that’s it. No one ever called me back like she said. My car was never ready or anything, every time she said it would. I can’t even begin to tell you how this has put my life in a mess. I lost my job because I don’t have a car, my kid has missed school, I even told them that and I still have no idea what is happening to my car. I will never come here again. I just don’t understand why?

Probably one of the best trustful and reasonable auto shop in SF. John, especially is very much reasonable and believable mechanic I've ever seen, and their service is quick and very much reasonable price. I won't hesitate to use their service over and over again. Even thought i didn't ask, he always shows all works he has done to my car, and respectfully he explains what he exactly did, which is amazing for the customer. Suprisingly, price wise, they are very reasonable especially pretty much elsewhere asks at least 20-80 bucks more, and John never did. I really respect his business and enjoy service.

A great shop. I first came to get my tires changed after buying a used car and all the tread was gone. I then got a nail in my tire and came to fix it. I ended up changing all my tires to a great value set of grippy tires for nearly half what I'd pay for it anywhere else. My girlfriend busted a tire and soon found herself here after I recommended it, since which this shop has been her go-to. Fair prices, honest work and quick turnaround. I hate the dealer mechanic horror stories... honest auto shops all day for me. You won't regret getting your work done here.

I’ve been coming to this location to get my tires for over five years. It’s on the outskirts of San Francisco but it’s worth the drive out. The owners are super friendly and very helpful. They are trustworthy and provide you with great service. When I come for new tires they always have the best recommendations for my car. Just a heads up call ahead to schedule an appointment or to order your tires in advance so you could take your car home the same day.

This place is awesome!!! The guys here are very nice and quick. In and out in no time at all. They fix your tire/tires soon as you come inside. They have alot of staff on hand to keep it moving. The prices for a used tire are great!! They only take cash no cards just a heads up. I truly prefer them compared to the spot at the end of Palou tire shop. If you need a good used tire this is your place to be. Very professional staff.

went for my brakes to be fixed they ground rotors to get rust off which probably not need doing they were shiny but they did not bleed brakes so car does not stop as quick as it should.they go though about 30 cars a day so I was expecting a better job but I think they rush work so it is not as good as should be $300 for brake job I think they could do a better job but they put too many cars through

John and his crew are the very, very best. Honest, quick, and flexible. Willing to explain things, give you options, and do great work. I found Ka-Pa years ago when a tow driver recommended him and I lived nearby. I’ve moved far across the city since, but getting the good deals, great work, and solid communication at Ka-Pa has made it worth sticking with then.

They were really helpful, worked quickly, and the price was fair. Didn't attempt to upsell anything and were communicative to boot. My van was too large to get on their lifts, but they were still willing to drive it around the block with me, diagnose the problem with my tires and get it fixed same day. Can't ask much more than that! Thanks Ka-Pa!

Highly professional and knowledgeable. John did a really excellent job fixing some errors made by a prior mechanic and making our vehicle safer and more reliable. Prices were very fair as well. I will definitely trust him with my future car maintenance and repair needs.

Heck yes. They looked crowded as can be, but I was in there in just a moment. They didn't have my size tire, but swapped out my spare for me and changed the oil on my big truck for $51 bucks. Nice and friendly people. Blessed to find it!

John and his team were up front, efficient, honest and really pleasant to deal with. My truck needed a new head gasket—a big job and very labor intensive. I got it back within a week and it’s running like new at 146k miles.

No hidden fees. I needed 4 tires mounted and they did the job in under 30 minutes and no hidden fees. $28 per tire out the door. Plus I liked how I can just wait in the lobby. Too many places with the social distancing bs.
