"I spent two years working in Kareela, and knew then there was plenty that could be done to invigorate the shopping village"
"Good little village"
"Nice shopping village, it has all the essentials (Coles, pharmacy, medical centre, therapist, liquor store, gym, barber shop, hairdresser, restaurants, coffee shop, childcare, eyecare, spa) and new shops are being added including a bakery and fish market"
"Dead silent with very little offerings"
"The Village is always kept clean and all the shops around are full of friendly faces with great service! The shopping centre can have its busy periods but it has 4 levels of parking which is quite enough! The village has a range of shops from takeaway, retail, beauty, healthcare, day care, grocery, newsagent, coles, pharmacist, gym and high class restaurants too!"
I spent two years working in Kareela, and knew then there was plenty that could be done to invigorate the shopping village. I returned recently for the first time since the development. Wow!!! Felt like I was somewhere else. Didn't even recognise the place. I spent 5 minutes trying to remember the old layout and where it would've sat in comparison to now. Great variety of local businesses and a couple of big players. Parking is plentiful, though it felt wrong editing onto a loading dock area. Overall a massively improved location and shopping experience.
Good little village. Marks deducted for allowing predatory MLM cockroaches to set up booths on their premises though. More stars removed. Very disappointing to once AGAIN see KV allowing an MLM scam, this time doterra, to set up a stall in Kareela Village. doterra is essentially a pyramid scheme which targets the vulnerable, most of whom will lose money buying their junk product inventory. I cannot support a shopping centre which will allow such a poisonous, exploitative organisation in their doors. My business is going elsewhere.
Nice shopping village, it has all the essentials (Coles, pharmacy, medical centre, therapist, liquor store, gym, barber shop, hairdresser, restaurants, coffee shop, childcare, eyecare, spa) and new shops are being added including a bakery and fish market. The Kareela Grocer is quite a nice place to shop for nice products, the Jensen Restaurant is great, and the Howling Forest Coffee House is nice too. Plenty parking space too! Should have a little local cinema and done!! Haha! Ale
Dead silent with very little offerings. I've had japanese there (decent not exceptional) and went to the bulk billing doctor there. I went there specifically to see the doctor since it had such an immediate opening (within 1hr). I've read about controversies of the management forcing local stores to close with the rent hikes but I don't know if that's fact or rumour. Something to consider with how quiet and shut down the whole place is though.

The new-look Village bears little resemblance to its old self and for those of us who grew up with the old space it's hard to get your head around! Much more parking, more stores, and everything grouped around a central courtyard. I sort of miss the old space but I think that's just nostalgia talking. The new space is great and very convenient and accessible.
A convenient local shopping village which has been recently renovated. Good parking. We buy groceries from Coles and regularly eat at Jensens which is a fabulous restaurant. A variety of other stores - newsagency, pharmacy, fruit and veg store, travel agency and fashions stores etc. It beats going into the bigger shopping centres, much more convenient.
Very popular market village with lots of specialty shops supported by a large Coles supermarket. Jensen's restaurant sits on the top level and is considered a first class eatery with bookings necessary. Parking consists of 4 floors with most undercover which includes lifts and travelators. All in all a worthwhile visit. Colino1861 recommended ✅️
Nice little shopping village. It has a supermarket, liquor shop, butcher, chemist, green grocer, fish market, and other food stores. A nice variety of stores and it’s kept well maintained. The bathrooms seem to be kept very clean and tidy which is very nice. Four levels of parking means you can always find a spot.
Small but quaint shopping village. Been here multiple times. It has the basic amenities such as Medical Centre, Chemist, Gym, Coles, cafes and restaurants. Only problem I have with this place is the traffic congestion, especially being close to the the HWY.
A great local shopping centre. Everything you could need in one convenient location - supermarket, good quality butcher, chemist, good quality fruit shop, newsagent, medical centre, gym, cafes and restaurants. Lots of parking, clean and bright atmosphere.
Brand new renovation with great selection of shops, a revamped Coles supermarket, awesome restaurants and a great fish and chips with fresh seafood selection shop. Plenty of parking and the layout is user friendly.
Very nice little shopping village with an open air playground for kids and all shops feel like their outdoors. There's a nice vibe and I enjoy coming here for all my local shopping needs
Great little village shopping centre. Two really nice coffee options, Three Beans and Moss Bros. Also they have a cool kids play area that you can watch while getting coffee and a cake.
Went here to eat at a restaurant on one of the levels. Seems to have a good variety of shops, and has a nice open air area. Multi level free parking. A nice local place to shop.
Great little shopping centre. Clean amenities and good range of shops for the size including Coles, a butcher, news agency and multiple food choices; fast food and dine in.
My family had an amazing time celebrating our daughter’s bday and the food was totally the ‘best’ Lebanese food we have ever had! Will definitely be back!
Kareela Coles 4 weeks ago was effective with flow of customers. Well set up store and easy to park usually. Good specials from time to time.
Fruit Market and chemist are rip off merchants. Butchers pricey but quality. Burger joint upstairs is pretty good food but not cheap either.
Needs to do a deal with Australia Post to get some Parcel Lockers installed. Would be a great location and something the shire sorely lacks
Quick easy plenty variety of shops and services need to visit see for yourself, restaurants are fantastic Cheers Paul …
The vehicle ramps to underground parking from the top floor has tight turn rounds, speed bumps everywhere are just too much.
Great range of food goods and services at very reasonable prices, with prompt home deliveries. Great! Thank you!
Large multilevel parking area for relatively small shopping centre consisting mostly of Coles and some cafes.
Well laid out. Clean toilet. Good selection of shops. Pleasure to shop there. Plenty of under cover parking.
Mostly go for dining. parking is really bad, it is always busy. have to park on the street most times
Parking not great, to many food outlets. Limited to no gluten free range ,shops constantly closing.
Great friendly place, coles staff are great , I met Matt at coles a truly polite gentleman
Such a great place to shop and eat. Jensens is obviously a stand out! Highly recommended
Loved this place .it has good restaurant and many shops for shopping.lovely set up.
Very pleasant local shopping village. Well laid out with a good variety of shops.
1st visit in 20 years. Great to see the upgrade and huge variety of shops.
Great parking and lots of food. Jensens is very good
Very good little shopping centre.

Great play area for kids
