The one star I have given is for location and reception . I thought this was a nice medical centre , you walk in the staff at reception are lovely and it’s a nice quiet place . Then my encounter with one doctor has been absolutely disgusting . Dr Pushpika Wijethilake. I have never been spoken to or belittled like this before over a medical certificate my husband needed as we have just moved from Sydney and have no family here. I am 5 months pregnant with a high risk pregnancy and we are all suffering from a sever stomach bug ! I went in yesterday with my eldest son and she explained how Its difficult for her to give a medical certificate without knowing background and also that I didn’t come with my husband etc which I totally understood and apologised I also explained we are yet to find a family gp as we are new to Melbourne etc . Then today we all came(as she requested if he needed a medical certificate for today ) and she was absolutely horrible didn’t even look at me questioning my husband , then questioning if my children where even sick ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR FROM A HEALTH CARE PROFESSION!!! She said ‘I have seen children with gastro before and they don’t look like this!!! Does she honestly think I would book an appointment in for my children with a viral infection when they are physically zomitting !!!Then she was asking my husband every question we spoke about yesterday . I feel so disgusting with this woman!!! No wonder she always has appointments available she is so unprofessional and so rude!!!!! I will never return here again

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I tried to book an appointment via healthengine where I was advised to call the clinic if I had flu-like symptoms which I did. I called the clinic at 8am, the receptionist took my name and said "ok the doctor will call you" no specific time given. I asked what time and she said in about 10-20 minutes. Two hours passed with no call so I contacted the clinic again and I was told that the doctor called and I did not answer. I asked what number they called and it was a landline number that was disconnected 7 years ago. I had since had telehealth appointments at this clinic so there is no way they don't have my mobile number on file and given that this is a phone call appointment, the receptionist should have confirmed my number when I made the booking. I gave her my number and she advised me that the doctor will call soon. At 11:40, another two hours later, I've had to call the clinic again as I have not receive a call. The receptionist was unapologetic and told me that she will speak to the gp when they are done with their current appointment. I understand that these are tough times but I go to book on healthengine and this clinic has 25+ available appointments to book TODAY. They are clearly not SO busy that I should be left to wait a total of FOUR HOURS (and counting) for my appointment. I have been a patient of this clinic since I was born and it has never been this terrible until these past couple of years. Just awful.

I can not believe what I experienced today. Dr Pushpika is with no doubt the worst doctor I have seen in my life. She is extremely rude, inpatient and out of line with her work ethics. I went in today with extreme pains from UTI and she was not happy to help me at all, it felt like she just wanted to get rid of me. Never in my life have I experienced such disrespect from a doctor before. I asked her to repeat something she had said as I did not understand as she did not even look at me while speaking and she started raising her voice extremely loud. I asked her "Why are you screaming at me?" and she said "Because you didn't understand". I told her that she was being very disrespectful and she said "I don't care, you are the first person that says that". However, reading all these reviews I can see I am not the only person that has experienced her horrible treatment. You have left me very unstable after my visit and you should be ashamed of yourself for making doctors look so bad! I will defiantly take this further as no patient should be treated this way!

I have been taking my kids to the clinic for a while now and now have referred my whole family to attend the clinic, i must say ever since the staff has changed, the clinic has improved immensely, phone calls being answered promptly and the girls at the front desk are excellent and helpful! This review is about an individual at the clinic who I believe is the medical practice manager, goes by the name of Donna. I’ve noticed over the past few visits donna is always helpful, and recently resolved an issue for me professionally and promptly, she allowed me to leave the clinic satisfied and answered all my questions, due to this the clinic has now retained a loyal and long-term patient. Her professional interaction with patients have been consistent as she has helped not only me but also other people in my family, I’ve also noticed how she is helping other patients in the waiting room. I hope the directors of the clinic understand what an asset she is to the practice and I hope she continues to maintain the upstanding efforts she has within this practice.

Booked in as was open on a public holiday. Receptionist asked me to do RAT test prior to attending clinic. No mention of bringing in RAT. Took a time stamped photo of myself with the negative RAT as proof. Upon arrival I mentioned negative test (and that I’d had COVID 3 weeks ago so it wasn’t COVID). No mention of wanting to see proof of RAT from reception. I was asked to wait in isolation room for appointment with mask on. I complied. When Dr called to see me she didn’t want to approach me regardless of negative RAT and both of us wearing masks (she also had a face shield and gloves) and the fact that her job is to assess sick people. I showed her the time stamped photo from an hour prior (wearing same clothes ect) she said that RAT needed to be presented in person (no one had mentioned this previously). I demanded she look at my throat as I suspects tonsillitis or strep. She looked begrudgingly from a considerable distance. Refused to look in ears even with ear pain. Shouldn’t be a GP if you don’t want to physically assess sick patients.

I have never left a review before but feel compelled to after such horrible experiences here. I have been seeing a GP there for a long time before this practice was taken over so have perservered however I can no longet stand such unacceptable service. I took my 6 week old daughter in to have her immunisations and after waiting 1hr, at which point she was cranky and tired, and asking if we were next, was told there were still 3 people before us - that would mean at least another hour (2hr wait!!). I ended up leaving to get my daughter home for a nap so disrupting her sleep was all for nothing as she still didnt get seen. A heads up when we arrived that the doctor was running so late would have been nice, rather than having people waste there time in a waiting room. Furthermore, everytime I have been there the reception staff are rude and unfriendly. I am a doctor myself and I run a clinic so I understand how hard it can be to keep strictly to time, with patient care always coming first, however these standards are simply unacceptable.

DO NOT go to this clinic. Dr Pushikpa was so rude and cold. She came late to the clinic by 30 minutes and didn't even apologize for making me wait (I was the first appt for the day) and then rushed my appointment like I was a bother for her being there. She didn't even take my temp or BP reading, both of which turned out to be high, but lied and said she did on a referral she wrote for the hospital. Instead of taking the time to test a number of things she tested me for one thing and then just sent me to the hospital for a 7 hour wait, which triggered serious anxiety. I ended up being diagnosed with something very simple that she should have caught I'd she had taken the time to do her job. Whenever I would question her or seek clarification of what I would do next, she would get angry and raise her voice at me, even though I was literally in tears from how scared I was from all the possible diagnoses she had given me. Please do not go to this doctor, especially if you suffer from anxiety as she will just make that worse.

so sad that this clinic has bad ratings. most people wait an hour because they're walk-ins. and people arent up front when booking.most appointments are 15 mins, when you're making an appointment tell them you want longer than 15 mins, then they'll be aware and everyone wont be behind schedule. my favourite doctor is Dr. Rahul Naik - sharing, because my appointments with him are like 7-15 mins. he's straight to the point, if you dont understand he will elaborate, show you images to make sure we are talking about the same thing. appointments with him are like nice and short and maybe it's because i've seen him more in the last 3-4 years, but he knows me well enough. my mum's beeen going for years to whoever she can get, and the last time she needed the doctor i said to her, to ask for my doctor and it was the first time she didnt complain about her experience at the clinic. We have just moved from Tokyo to Australia.I visited the keilor medical clinic for an appointment with doctor Rahul Naik,I am really sad to say this that the doctor should have some shame and respect for their profession.I visited him for just a reference letter for an oncologist a cancer hospital for my son.Dr Rahul took all details and he told me that he will mail me the letter which he never did,I waited for a week but nothing from him I tried to call the clinic they don't pick up.Very bad experience and feel extra bad as I come from japan where the doctors respect their profession and their patients.They charged me 50 dollars as I don't have Medicare.Really shame on u guys.U guys have family too have a heart or u never know when God will put u in a bad situation.

Should’ve not given even 1 star. Very bad service from both the doctor and reception. I had an appointment for my 8 year old with Dr Dedu. We waited more than 30 minutes past the appointment while all other patients came after us taken in. When I asked the reception why we are not being seen then only said doctor hasn’t opened my son’s file yet. This is very unprofessional and frustrating. The doctor was very rude to my son questioning him about reasons for tummy ache. If we know the reason for the pain I wouldn’t bring him to doctors. The doctor has attitude which is most common among overseas doctors and this behaviour is never acceptable. Will never visit again and never recommend to anyone. Very disappointed about the service.

Keilor Medical Clinic may sound professional but really their after hour doctor - Dr Rahul Naik wasn't professional at all. He didn't show any respect for his patient. He was impatient and showed no job ethics towards his profession. As per consultation policy, each patient should at least get 15 minutes for their consultation. My consultation didn't even last 5 minutes. I feel this clinic had ripped off my "Medicare Levy" because the doctor didn't perform his duty of care properly for me as a patient. I paid for my consultation and I'm a taxed payer too. This problem wasn't just happened once but had been happening to my husband too. Very unprofessional and very unacceptable!!!

After waiting for over an hour past our appointment time, with a sick two 2 year saw a doctor who had no idea what she was doing. Told me the child had gastro, yes she did have loose stools for a couple of days which where now firm, the child also had a cough and a fare bit of mucus. Which the doctor wasn’t going to address. Then the doctor put a cold stethoscope on the child which made the child jump and start to cry, with that the doctor said she couldn’t help the child because she’s crying (great bedside manner) The doctor didn’t give any solutions to what care the child needs going forward. The doctor has no communication skills.

Took my sick 3 year old to see Dr Pushpika and she was so rude and awful she made me feel so belittled and didn’t even check my son who had been sick for over a week. She didn’t even come into the room and just stood near the door because he was sick and raised her voice at him to put his mask on properly and I had to remind her he is a 3 year old with Asthma he doesn’t understand. I have contacted the practice manager but after reading these other reviews I’m absolutely disgusted that she still thinks it’s acceptable to treat people like this. Never going back nobody deserves to be treated like this especially a sick 3 year old.

Would give less than one star if I could. I made an appointment for 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:15 and checked in with reception immediately after arriving. I was told that the doctor was running a little bit behind and I should be waiting about 30 minutes, which would be 3:45. I have waited for an hour and a half while they let others that had appointments after mine in before I was seen. I checked with reception, only to be told that there was still one more appointment to be seen before me. Absolute joke. If I hadn't checked with reception, I would still be waiting! Will never come here again!

So I had an appt yesterday so I thought I did.. I got there at 145 as per appt booked. Was told the doctor your booked with today I working from home. Do i mind going home and waiting for her call. That's cool I said. Suited me really. So got the call and doctor asked do u need a certificate for two days I said no one day should be fine. So the next day I wasn't fine and called up and made another appt with the same doctor to get another certificate for the next day as previously offered.. was told she's not happy to give another certificate over the phone. Does not make any sense to me.

When I booked the Pfizer Vaccine for my son and daughter last month, I was a bit worried after I looked up the google review of this clinic and it was only 2 star. And today I feel totally satified with this clinic after we completed our vaccines. We found all staff including receiptionist and doctors are so friendly and professional. the enviorment of waiting room is clean and nice, all staff are equipped with N95 masks and PPE gives us feeling of safety. The Lady who gave vaccines to my son and daughter is so friendly and treated them with so much patience. It worths 5 star.

Be ABSOLUTELY CAREFUL about what "flu vaccine" they administer. Told me they were giving the "flu vaccine" but gave me the 4th covid vaccine instead, early July. I DID NOT CONSENT TO GETTING A 4TH COVID VACCINE, ONLY A FLU SHOT. The only reason I found out is because I had to get a covid vaccine certificate last night. I trusted the nurse, my mistake. She didn't show me the vaccine vial or explain what was happening. Only got me to sign the papers. EDIT: I was contacted soon after this review and the situation was rectified. If I could put 0 stars I would! I have been going to this doctors since I was 6 years old (1995) but this has turned to a bulk billing clinic that have no idea about customer service and some doctors who are rude and when you ask for a certain doctor and get told there is no such doctor here but yet he has left the clinic less than a month ago and don't get asked if I want another appointment with another doctor but get hung up on! I would rather pay for my doctor which I was doing for 15 years then go back here! They have ruined this wonderful local clinic!!

I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews . I’ve been coming to this clinic and I’ve had good experience each time .This IS NOT AN EMERGENCY CLINIC .Most people rated less stars rated for bringing their family members for emergencies . Dr. Hiran Fernando is an amazing doctor and the girls at the front desk is amazing as well . If you had to stay wait little longer means the Doctor taking time to talk to the patients and it’s a good thing . People should have time for their health appointments because health is more important than other work !!

Website says open till 10pm. Arrived there before 9pm to see a doctor for my daughter. The last place I want to be is a doctors clinic that late however it was necessary. Told by reception the doctor only works till 9pm and he is doing paperwork now. My daughter was denied treatment. She said she would ask him if he would see her and I could hear talking and laughing in the background. She returned a few minutes later saying “I can’t get a hold of him, he is on the phone”. Very disappointed and will not return to this clinic ever!

I was very content with the service provided by the medical center, extremely nice and patient front staff. I was booked in with Dr Chathurika, she is awesome. She patiently listened to what I had to say and cleared all my doubts. She was very nice in not rushing to take in the next patient, it seemed like she really cared about each patient and understood their needs. If only the medical center provided antenatal shared care as mentioned on the website :( . Other than that, great experience at Keilor Medical Clinic.

I m give 2 stars only because my experience with Dr. Arunan is excellent. Being late by 10-15 minutes are fine, we are not robots to keep getting there on milliseconds, however this clinic does not respect people's time and keep us waiting for at least 40 minutes every time even with an appointment... A single Tele conference is delayed with 1,5 hour from the booked appointment.. And it's always like this. I am sorry to leave this review but it is simply unacceptable to play with people's time.

Dr Pushpika is the worst Female doctor I have ever seen. So rude and arrogant . After waiting for 45 minutes when I told her that I had reactions for the booster she couldn’t are less. The Keilor Medical Clinic is the one we our whole family visit to get our treatment from minor sickness to major, for over 15 years, All practitioners are providing excellent services, waiting time is very short from 10 minutes to 30 the longest. All staff providing friendly services. Bulk billings available. Special Thanks to Dr. Hiran, we usually consult him, Also Dr. Devapriya. I recommend the Keilor Medical Centre for anyone looking for a clinic that provide an excellent service.

This GP surgery is fantastic. You can always see a GP fast. Friendly reception staff. Range of experience amongst their medical staff. As long as you are clear on your symptom profile and what you feel you may need them these doctors always deliver. A real asset to the local community and a primary health care service that keeps people out of your overwhelmed emergency departments as they see patients fast. This GP surgery is brilliant. Hi, Everytime i had an appointment with rahul it was so good! This time i had a appointment with dr. Pushpika , she literally dont know how to deal with patients she dosent have any patience at all.i have waited for 20mins for her she just completed in 2 mins and she is asking me to come on another day to discuss problems , does she even make sense? Doctors should have a lot of patience to deal with but she is one the bad experiences i have faced till now!

My GP is Dr Arunan Devapriya. He is a great doctor. He is super patient and will give you all the time you need from him. Really friendly and a great human being. Exactly what we need from a GP. The keilor medical clinic reception is good and the clinic is always very clean, but I did not have the best experience with couple of other GPs I have seen there. So, I highly recommend this clinic, if you are visiting Dr Arunan Devapriya. Hope this helps.

At a recent visit Dr.Dedu acted swiftly to call an ambulance and gave me all the time needed even though she was very busy. Her care was professional and thorough and I cannot commend her enough The nurses were also exceptional and took very good care of me until the ambulance arrived Thank you to this clinic as I don’t know what would have happened to me if I was sent home . When it really matters this is a great clinic and thank you all again

If i could give negative amount of stars I would, not only was Dr Pushpika rude and stand offish, she flat out refused to even look at the issues I was talking about (this rash it'd been getting on my foot for example) she told me point blank, "you wouldn't have any issues if you weren't fat" by far the most horrible doctors I've ever seen. And to top it off I was waiting an hour to see the doctor with no one else in the waiting room...

The place is an absolute joke. Previous owner doctors set the bar very high, it was always going to be a struggle to reach those heights but the current crop have no chance, they are atrocious. Everyone from the front counter staff to the doctors have not got a clue. Only one doctor is worthy of speaking about and management seem to ignore his plight. Money hungry, no care at all and by the look of the other reviews they don’t listen.

The worst medical clinic ever and I wish I could rate it a zero… got there and waited 30 minutes even though we booked an appointment. Then they charged me $10 for a small bandage they used for my daughter. Absolutely ridiculous unprofessional staff and doctors here. Takes an hour to even get through on the phones here. You call 40 times before the phone even rings. Doctor was 2 hours late for my last appointment and didn’t even apologise for the inconvenience. Reception is rude and understaffed. Keilor Medical Clinic is the best GP for me. My go-to doctors are Dr. Arunan Devapriya and Dr. Rahul Naik though I have also been looked up by Drs. Fernando, Pushpika and Dedu and even Dr. Pitipalil (not sure if I got his name right) a long way back. They are all very professional, hardworking and very good doctors. I recommend this GP to anyone who needs a real family doctor. All the best!

Upon arrival always greeted with a smile at reception. Dr Devapriya has been my GP for some year's now. When you've established a professional & personal relationship with your GP, you're at ease with the Dr, Patient confidentiality. He's been a Mentor, councillor and so much more. It's not very often you come across Genuine caring GP'S that don't abuse their Status. Thank you Dr Divapriva.

The wait times here are absurd. I've visited several times and nearly every time have to wait from 30-60 minutes after my booking time. Surely there are ways to mitigate this, like having patients book an allotted time slot (15 mins, 30 mins, etc.) or even calling people up to let them know that there are delays? Apart from this glaring issue, the doctors are fine for the most part.

Much appreciated the reception today, I got urine track infection and was in the big pain. I went to sunshine hospital in the morning and waited over one hour, cannot hold the pain, called clinic, the lady in reception asked me to be there, I drove to the clinic immediately and got the treatment within 10 minutes, much appreciated the reception lady and doctor Sadarf.

Never again. Waited for 50 minutes after making an appt for my daughter only to then be told (after I questioned why all other patients were seen prior) that my daughter was a new patient and they didn't realize it. And? What has that got to do with it? I still waited for 50 mins. That is irrelevant. Poor service and lack of accountability.

Reception is lovely however my family has had terrible experiences with a few of the doctors here. 1 even charged me $50 for being a "new patient" because not having any records. I was told this after my consult not before. $50 is a lot for me at the moment and I'm pretty angry I wasnt informed this information prior to my appointment.

The girls at the reception didn't manage the queue properly and keep letting late comers to go first. On raising the concern the response was very unprofessional (keep glaring at the mobile phone while talking, was very rude). Also they over booked and usually have one doctor after hours, so he can't handle the load and panics.

I think people are to hard on this GP surgery. You normally can get an appointment on the same day. The GP's listen to what you need and either refer to other services appropriately or prescribe you treatment. Under Medicare you get 5 minutes with a GP so these guys have to be quick. Keep up the great work.

6 Tele-health appointment confirmations in one day and no one calls. I attend the clinic and they say I’m 2 people behind, I then wait over an hour and watch 6 people get treated, 1 patient who turned up an hour late, gets in before me. This clinic is the worst. So disorganised, they actually have no idea

Dr Indeewarie is incredibly kind, personable and understanding. She makes sure that you're heard and has your best interests and health at mind. I am thankful for her patience and care. I have also seen Dr Devapriya over the years and appreciate both of their warm approaches to their profession. :)

Dr Rahul, Dr Fernando, Dr Arunan and Dr Dedu are fantastic but Dr Rahul has saved my life and always welcomed me with open arms and stayed with me when no others would. I'm grateful i met this man. Thank you Dr Rahul. Receptionist are well mannered and very respectful. Highly recommend thid clinic.

Google forced me to leave one star but its not deserved. The reception staff were nice but the doctor I saw wasn't. It was my first time attending the clinic, I waited 30 minutes with a booked appointment, was in the consultation for approx. 3 minutes and I wont bother to go back. Not reccommended

I have been coming to this clinic for approximately 10 years and like every other clinic you may have to wait but I can honestly say not as long as many that I had been to in the past. My children and I normally see Dr Rahul Naik and we have always had the greatest of care whilst there.

Dr. Pushpika is one of the worst doctors I've come across. So rude in person and even worst over the phone. Very unprofessional. Visited another doctor a month prior at the same clinic and she was not discreet at having a go at one of the receptionist there.

Dr Hiran Fernando is a wonderful, caring, empathetic Doctor who does not rush you and takes his time. I’ve been attending this clinic for years, I book online, arrive on time, wait approx 10-15 mins and I’m in and out. I highly recommend this doctor.

I have covid, for 3 days i've tried to get them to call me back for a telephone perscription for my asthma accuhaler and NOTHING!. They WOULDN'T spare a literal 15-30 second phone call. Callous, irresponsible, lazy and pure evil come to think of it.

Book appointment and wait for 2hours then go home without any treatment. The receptionist doesn’t know anything on the phone said accepting Bupa card, then said no when I have come.

Great clinic with knowledgeable doctors and a nurse on-site. The clinic is open 7 days a week from 8am till 9pm weekdays & until 7pm on weekends great for families with children.

Dr Hiran has been my family doctor since 2016. Really nice, very helpful and very knowledgeable doctor. Facility is very helpful with bookings and very understandable staff.

Lots of covid fear mongering at this clinic, it's 3 pluss years now , most clinics have eased up on mandatory mask wearing. Stay away and make a statement.

Dr Pushpika is the best doctor I am seeing her with my whole family by about 10yrs. We are very happy for the service and care we received.
