Wonderful find in Portland. Service was fast and friendly. Food arrives quickly and is flavorful. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere, with a cigar lounge downstairs. Humidor is limited, but some quality names and blends available. Food and drinks are served in lounge as well. Worth visiting more than once. More

By far my favorite bar in Portland! The Service was exceptional and John was amazing, attentive, and friendly. The staff definitely made me feel welcomed. Will come back and enjoy the ambiance, live music, and the food when traveling here. More

Very pleasant stuff and good atmosphere. I ordered fish & chips. Fish was gorgeous looking, and pieces were huge. Unfortunately, it had no flavor. Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic and herbs on the fish, or in the batter would have been great. More

We didn't have any food, but from what I saw, no complaints. There is a wide variety of Whiskey available and I highly recommend sampling a few. If you need a hand deciding, the staff will gladly help you out or give you more time. It was a

My husband had the Reuben, and I had the Shepherd's Pie. But we started by sharing the macaroni and cheese. That was the best mac and cheese we have had so far in Portland. The Reuben was very juicy, and they didn't scrimp with the meat. I

I was here for a private event held upstairs in a beautiful hall with stunning high ceilings. Chandeliers hung down and a projector with screen discretely hung at one end. The 2 bars, the chairs and tables and other furniture was solid and

Live music and great atmosphere! Service was nice. We Checked out the Cigar room downstairs, if I was a smoker I feel I would like to hang out there. Ballycastle Sausage Roll was too soft for my liking. Not sure if the sausage is supposed

We had an amazing time at this pub while visiting Portland this past weekend. I had the Shepherds Pie which was absolutely delicious, although I personally prefer more of a 50/50 veggies to meat ratio (this was quite heavy on the beef but

It was very busy because of the pride parade, so I'm cutting them some slack, but we definitely won't be going back. Half our food was cold, which isn't really a surprise since we didn't receive any of our food for an hour after ordering.

Highly recommend! My husband and his family have been telling me great things about Kells and I finally got to experience it for myself. We visited on a Thursday evening and it was somewhat slow, but was starting to get busy when we left.

Laura was great. Competent server, beautiful and pleasant. She is one of the few servers who have been there almost as long as I have been going there. Kell's was the first restaurant I ever went to, when I first arrived in the Portland

Im updating this review over 2 years later. I don't remember what I ordered for food, but I remember it being really good. But i want to talk about the old fashioned i ordered. I've had a lot of old fasions over the years. Many many old

We got Corned Beef and Cabbage and it was incredible! After a beautiful, exhausting day of hiking we got takeout, so I only spent a few minutes in the restaurant. It was lovely inside and the service was superb. More

Nitro stout was a great pairing with the Reuben. My wife got the fish and chips and she loved them. The fries were delicious and the pickles were sweet. Came here on a recommendation and was completely satisfied.

Nice place to start a beer tour, but the 3 beers we had were not my favorites. I loved learning the history of the building and seeing the basement cigar room, even though I don't smoke. More

Excellent British pub with huge selection of beers and ales, as well as all the usual pub favorites. Fish and chips was superb. Chips (fries) were exceptional. Ambience is wonderful.

If you are in Portland you have to stop by! Fantastic Sausage Roll, Curry, Shepherd's Pie and Bangers and Mash. Excellent bartender too! So fun even with Covid-19 restrictions. More

Came here for a late lunch today and were very impressed! Great food and service. Husband got the shepherds pie and I got the chicken Caesar, then we shared the bread pudding!!

Always get the Shepherds Pie! Best one I’ve found. Also grabbed the Corned Beef and Cabbage plate. So tender and flavorful!!! Live music every evening, awesome place. More

Fantastic atmosphere, great drinks, amazing shepherd's pie, but man is it expensive! If you go here, be prepared to spend about $30 a person. If you drink, double it.

Went here for St. Patrick's Day. It was excessively noisey and some customers were actually yelling while sharing with their friends. The food was really good.

  • Eldri Earles

Loved Kell's Irish Pub. Great food, drinks, atmosphere, service and live music! Drinks and food are so good and reasonably priced. Had a fun time! More

Very cool atmosphere, it's a classic Irish Pub, but a big one. We had the curry on fries, which turned out to be a great combination. More

Good food, drinks, and vibe. It didn't hurt that our waitress was easy on the eyes... until I saw the ring on her finger.

The service was great. Bread pudding is very tasty. Burger was average. Corned beef and cabbage should have been hotter. More
