We moved home from southern Tasmania to northern Tasmania and the service provided by Kent was nothing short of excellent. We had our furniture picked up by Brad and Michael, and they worked like Trojans all day in drizzling rain. They never complained at all and were polite, cheerful, helpful and efficient and we couldn't have asked for any more. Even when it came to moving my very heavy woodworking machines they calmly discussed how they were going to do it and then got stuck in. Marvellous work. Similarly, on receiving our furniture at the new home the removalist crew also had to put up with some drizzle in which to work. Again, no complaints from the crew they just got on with it and we were all moved in in no time. In the past we'd always moved our own furniture and were a bit dubious on how it would all go. But, it went really well and as age catches up with us and we can't lift the heavy items any more we would have no hesitation in using Kent services again. Thank you to everyone we had contact with. The absolute worse, seemed real nice and diligent at the start. I moved from Hobart to Brisbane and upon the arrival of my boxes they “lost” a box that contained all of my clothes and other things, they showed no care what so ever, never made any contact with me to update me, they simply ghosted me, I’ve accepted I’ll never get my stuff back, everything in the box was super well maintained and clothes I used for my work I have to start again, they stole from me and I couldn’t do anything about it, the lady that was dealing with my case, was arrogant and was telling me my box will be found but never called me again. It’s been months and I think this is the most unfair and dishonest company I’ve ever dealt with. Im looking into a law suit and all I can say is deal with another company if you can. this people are the worse and if something happens they will just hide behind the phone.

I found Kent Removals so kind and professional, from the person who came to my home and patiently went around with me for the quote. To the two men who came on removal day, with smiles and encouragement, and took the time to pack everything I was taking with care and experience. Not one thing has been broken or damaged in anyway. Also for the delivery, three men came and unloaded the container, actually plugged in my washing machine to make sure it worked. They were so kind and so professional. I would recommend Kent Removals, they were the absolute best removalists I have ever used and would definitely use them again.

The crew turned up just prior to the time scheduled and were incredibly cooperative and considerate of our needs. Uplift and delivery were done efficiently and in no time at all. Although it was only a short distance to move i.e. 2 km, the crew ensured everything was moved without damage to either furniture or either residences. The guys were efficient, professional and at the same time had a great sense of humour. Hope we don’t need to move again for a very long time but if ever we do hope we can have these guys again. Worst place in the world , false advertisement,, they say 24 to 48 hours notice to deliver . Well I been waiting 5 days, every day, they say it will be delivered after lunch, they advertise easy access, you have absolutely no access to your belongings, they are extremely rude, they quote you on the website and there policy, but if you bring it up they say it will be delivered today, it will be delivered today, well c..ts it's 3 days later, oh it will be delivered after lunch, 4 days later it will be delivered after lunch, well it's 5 days later !!! Minus the 2 from the weekend...

we moved from our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in Tasmania to a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in WA They packed for us on 7th September and came back at 8am on the 9th to put it all in the container. It was all handled without any stress on us. We had it delivered at our new place in WA on the 22nd and choice to unpack the boxes our self. After unpacking we were left with empty boxes and paper but Kent came and picked this up after a phone call. Very happy with everything and all the staff did the job with a friendly manner. Would recommend to anyone wanting a smooth move..

The whole process with KENT was seamless. We required a lounge suite moved from one end of Tassie to the other. Phone calls were thorough and helpful. Very disappointed that this service didn't flow through as well from beginning to end. Lots of help in Qld especially during Covid situation. However upon delivery in Tasmania very disappointed as damage occurred to goods dropped within the truck. No responsibility or interest was taken due to poor packaging & handling . Everyone seemed to want to place the guilt on somebody else. Have recommended friends moving to not to use their service.

We used Kent removals on our recent interstate move. They were all absolutely fabulous. Having some rather large and difficult sculptures and paintings to move we were rather anxious that they could be damaged in transit. Kent carefully packed them up which took a considerable amount of time and they were delivered to our destination undamaged. The unpackers were equally excellent. Great experience with Kent Removalist! Well priced, quick response, on time and very professional removalists! The guys who came and do the pick up handled our stuff with great care, everything were carefully wrapped and nicely packed into the container. From the start to the finish i could not fault any aspect of my move. From the intial quote to the uplift and delivery on other end the staff were always polite,efficient and nothing was to much effort for them i will definitely be using this company again if the need arises.

12 boxes were collected, 6 weeks later (later than promised I might add), 11 boxes were delivered. Shrug of the shoulders, 'sorry mate, not our fault'. Given the cost of the optional insurance, you get $100 when they lose your box. Terrible experience, go elsewhere.

Ticked all our boxes. From (very reasonable) quote through to an amazingly fast and challenging lift. Looking forward to seeing them again when we find a new house. Happy that our belongings are in safe hands until then. Would not hesitate to recommend.
