"HORRIBLE CUSTOMER INTERACTION"
"VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The lady doesn't know how to treat customers, let alone manage the cash counter"
"Probably the worst customer service customer service that I have ever experience"
"Love the $5 Masala Thosai that came with some spicy chutney that tasted fresh"
"We only go here for their mutton rolls! ($1 + tax each) They're pretty delicious"
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER INTERACTION. RUDE SERVICE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I took my parents with me to buy dinner at this place on a fine Saturday night. The lady at the counter was beyond what the word 'rude' can describe. We asked what do they have and the reply was a stern "only idiappam'. Having no clue about how many idiappams and their size, I questioned the same courteously but the reply was with a very irritated face and anger. I did not get an answer but felt humiliated. She couldn't understand what we meant by side dish. She kept on irritably asking 'what side dish?' 'what are you asking side dish for?'. She then threw in a liquid packet into the one box of idiappam. One box of idiappam with about 24 pieces costs only $3.50 which is a really cool price but there is no good side-dish or I am still not aware if they provide anything on the side. For the extremely unpleasant and rude customer interaction, I would give it 1 star. I wish I recorded the interaction on my phone. Nanri Akka. Mikka Nanri.
VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The lady doesn't know how to treat customers, let alone manage the cash counter. My mom and I walked in to this bakery to grab some snacks. We placed one take-away order and one dine-in order. As soon as the lady brought our food to dine-in, we stood by the corner and started eating. Out of no where, the lady starts screaming at us that you have to pay right now and you cannot eat standing here. You are spoiling my business and the place. There was no where mentioned that we should not eat there and when she brought the order, she DID NOT mention anything of that sort PLUS we were waiting for our take-away order. We did not spill any food down nor were we leaving without paying. Highly disappointed by their treatment. Do not entertain such businesses next time. They should learn to RESPECT people.
Probably the worst customer service customer service that I have ever experience. I had asked what a certain curry was and the owner was really harsh and went straight to the kitchen. After a few minutes she comes back out and asked if we want anything. She then started to complain that she has to much work and that she has no one else working for her. After buying some food from her, she runs back to the kitchen without saying thank you or have a good day or even bye. We then notice that there was a few silver trays (that were kept in a section of the store that was not used) had fungus growth on it.
Love the $5 Masala Thosai that came with some spicy chutney that tasted fresh. Their veggie kothu was not evenly cooked and the chicken kothu had too many bones in it. During one of my visits, I was given a bottle of water when I asked for a glass of water while waiting for my order. Little did I know that I will be charged $1 for that bottle of water, which seems a little bit of a dubious business practice to me. Nevertheless, their $1 rolls were flavourful and had generous fillings in it.
We only go here for their mutton rolls! ($1 + tax each) They're pretty delicious. Their Mutton Kothu Roti was ok, but wouldn't get it again. Unfortunately, I agree with most of the other reviewers regarding their customer service; The lady and man are rude and unwelcoming. Despite their customer service, we still come here because of their nearby location + good pricing. It's a really small take-out place next to Petro-Canada and only accepts cash or debit.
If you want home cooked food, go here. They are amazing. Food is really good. Spend some money don’t be cheap, hence the bad reviews. I love the veggie they cook. Wow! Can’t find it anywhere. Never got sick. Always fresh. I have been going here for at least 11 years. The lady and her husband is very nice. I always get what want and the portions are big. I m going to cater from this place. I m hungry now just thinking of it
Mutton kothu is not good. Barely any Mutton in it. Mutton rolls are fill with potatoes and no mutton. Not worth the price even though it's fairly cheap. Places in Scarborough offer better quality at similar price. Just like the other reviews, the service is slow and the lady and man appear unhappy all the time. Zero customer service. Low quality product.
Nice dosa and idiappams. Not a place to sit and eat, just a takeaway place. Must have patience for dosa, they are prepared on order and you get them hot. The spicy coconut chutney is awesome. Idiappams are made either with white rice or with red rice very economical. Don't forget the medu vada they are very tasty.
um i went today to buy some mutton rolls and vaipan the vaipan was extremly bland and terrible the mutton rolls is bad with it bieng doughy and not having mutton in it. Honest for Tamil(sri-lankan) food stores in scarborough are much better. This places food is dissapointing and dissapointing is an understatement
I went in the shop no one to answer on the counter, they see you for a while through mirror doors, the lady with a straight face comes out of the kitchen, goes back again just to answer a call. Serves cold delis, they don't even have the
Worst customer service. The lady at the counter is impolite and rushes for payment aggressively. Looks like they are incapable of catering to customers outside of their ethnicity. So much for inclusion in doing business in the GTA.
We bought food from this place especially banana leaf meal and other snacks. Had very bad experience since taste was not good. Food tasted so bad as if it was prepared long back that we decided not to buy any food from this place.
Customer service was terrible, asked for 3 mutton rolls and the lady serving me threw them on the table as I watched the paper bag rip. Wouldn't recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a taste of South Asian food

Disgrace to indian food. Worst south indian sweets ive ever had. I was rather eat an eraser. Aaloo dum tastes like i was biting into a lemon. Probably a last resort if u were dying or sm
I would give 0 star. Not worth even 1 star. The women in cashier is very rude to customers. Not answering properly, taking in a rude way. Not recommended. If this continues, they lose all customers.
Worst mutton rolls I ever had. Super cold. The woman could have atleast heated it up for us. I regret stepping foot into that store. It had a very bad odour when entering as well
I am not an expert on Sri Lankan food but I really love their mutton roll. The owner there is quite nice too. Not sure why other reviews are bad because I love this place !
The customer service was amazing !! The mutton roll amazing !! The mutton Kothu out of the world. Definitely will be coming back to the store for many generations !!
The small place and the lady very rude and no manners in explaining the items. I went first time to try south Indian dishes but found out this is not the place.
5 stars for fish patty! Mutton roll spices are very good, however mutton itself was just ok. I appreciate the effort you put in. Will return.
Best "kothu roti" always I drive 18 km from my house to buy the special food,God bless the business and many more successful years
My go to place for Tamil short eats. Excellent service with a good vibe.

I bought masala dosa and meals . Poor food quality and it taste terrible. I wouldn’t recommend buying food from here.
Bought buns and bread. It's not worth the price. Sure, the buns are two days old. Customer service is bad.
Tasty, would have wanted more entree and less rice with the combo, but tasted pretty good.
Great place for authentic Indian baked goods and tasty samosas
Love their mutton rolls and super soft idli
