Very disappointed with the staff at this hotel. Upon pulling up to the hotel, there were 4 valet staff standing there that didn’t bother to help us check-in/welcome us. I had to walk up to them to ask for a cart and to say we were valeting our car. Then to the front desk who again had multiple people behind the desk and didn’t welcome us in and finally said “Are you trying to check in?” Also did not offer any of the “pet-friendly” offerings that were listed on their website. They also did not read our stay notes (or care) that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Typically at 4 star+ hotels they at least say Congratulations or display gratitude for choosing their hotel for a special weekend. We had to go to the front desk a couple times during our stay and always dreaded it because they were extremely unfriendly and acted like we were an annoyance. Lastly, we were charged $65 a night for valet. When asking Kimberly why this was different than the $45 per night charge, she said “apologies for the confusion, but we charge $65 for oversized vehicles like an F150”…I’ve never been charged more for a standard truck and this is nowhere to be found on their website. Great location, but plenty of other hotels in the area that are comparable in price that offer a better experience.

Love the hotel, service was horrible, concierge was so rude, valet takes 25min and is required, and room service stole my sunglasses. Do not stay here. Recently stayed at the Kimpton Monaco in Philadelphia and it was night and day difference with the staff. It was wild to me that Texans in Fort Worth were sooo rude compared with NE Philly staff. Honestly highly recommend other Kimpton hotels, just not this one. Unfortunate that this beautiful hotel experience was ruined from the staff. I had a suite that had a view of Sundance Square and really, the room and the hotel were lovely. I just cannot stay here again given the staff behavior in reception and valet and theft from room service. Valet is REQUIRED and they were slow, did not help with bags or the hotel door, and moved my driver seat every time so close to the steering wheel that I couldn’t enter the car. Just poor service. On cleanliness, it was nice but please note I did also find a hair in the bath tub and the carpets were significantly stained but the sheets were nice and the room layout was well planned. I came for Thanksgiving to see my family and the rudeness and experience really tainted the holiday.

My wife and I spent a week at The Harper over the New Year weekend and now consider it one of the best stays in a hotel we've ever had! We look forward to going back. Our corner room had good views, we love the architecture in downtown Fort Worth. Everything was clean and housekeeping kept it that way all week. Beautiful walk-in shower. The front desk was always helpful, informative and friendly. Being on the top floor with Refinery 714 and the living room feel we spent quite a bit of time there, usually starting with the 5pm - 6pm social hour. We loved the bars black bean hummus plate along with a grey goose martini. The sliders came with a full plate of fries. Again the views at the top are geat. And that's where we met Stephen who all through our trip made us feel so very welcome and gave us good ideas to explore in the city. Thanks Stephen! Fort Worth is a beautiful city, so walkable, friendly, good food and easy, safe access on the train to the Dallas Fort Worth airport. And the Kimpton Harper is a gem in the city!

UPDATE: I was overcharged for the mini bar and have not been able to get anyone to respond. Will need to dispute with credit card The location was fantastic and the room was very nice. In terms of service, it’s was hit or mis. There was a gentleman at the valet area who was a true star (the one with unique mustache- you should keep him at all cost). Ladies in the downstairs restaurant were phenomenal. Check in was extremely difficult made even harder by an unfriendly unsympathetic receptionist who just kept saying that she didn’t have my reservation and she had no rooms left so even if she found the reservation, I wouldn’t have a place for me to stay there. We encountered a couple of other members of staff and it was black or white. They were either awesome or didn’t want to answer a basic question. Downstairs restaurant was so freezing cold, we couldn’t stay there to eat, it was just too uncomfortable. Overall, I can’t say it was a bad stay, and would be back

I enjoyed a one-night stay on 12/22, and to sum it up, as a Diamond Ambassador, this Kimpton property stands out as the best in the U.S. among those I've experienced thus far. From the front desk and valet to the behind-the-scenes staff, the exceptional treatment I received was palpable, prompting me to take the time to log in to Google and compose my first-ever hotel review. For enthusiasts of art and architectural design, I would like to emphasize and commend the hotel's meticulous attention to room layout, furniture, embellishments, and overall spatial design. It is truly sophisticated, with numerous delightful surprises waiting to be discovered. A special thank you to Mr. Wayne Foster for his dedicated efforts in ensuring that I had a thoroughly pleasant stay! Looking forward to the next visit.

Hidden gem? Possibly so! It’s not that we haven’t wanted to stay here in the past, it’s that it gets overlooked and shadowed by the larger, more widely known brands and choices plus it has to contend with the draw of the Stockyards. In Fort Worth we have choices. Sometimes too many. Let this be one right choice you do make. Quiet, comfy, cozy, quaint, romantic, are all words that come to mind when describing this place. Our corner suite, room 2310, was perfect! Spacious, relaxing, inviting, calming. Exactly what you need for a weekend getaway. The pricing is more than fair when you compare the quality and amenities to other hotels of it’s equal in the entirety of Fort Worth. Do yourself and your significant other a favor and choose this hotel. You won’t regret it.

Unfortunately, our first experience here wasn't too great. Don't get me wrong, the hotel overall is nice. We had a king room with awesome views, but when we pulled the sheets back, there was some kind of red stain (possibly ink pen) on the sheets. There were some stains on the carpet as well. I opened the fridge and noticed leftover food in it, so then we were skeptical if the room had been cleaned properly. They did move us to another room but it was smaller and only 1 window which was somewhat disappointing especially for the price we paid. The thermostat wouldn't go below 68 which was frustrating. We did enjoy the bar in the hotel. The staff was very friendly throughout and upon checkout we did get our breakfast complimentary due to the inconveniences we experienced which was nice. We may give them another try in the future.
Have stayed here twice, first time was stellar. Second time not living up to first. On a busy Friday at 5 PM, only one elevator was serving the first floor (even though #3 was also sitting on the first floor), so check-in traffic was backed up to the valet. Later, to save time, I used the stairs to get down from 18th floor, only to be exited into the service alley - normally no problem, but the fire exit latch was broken and if not for the handy crow bar hanging on the gate, I could have been there for a while (consider what would fire panicked people do in an emergency). Room TV has a frozen screen asking for "Registration", phone is missing the handset cord, clock is missing a battery, and I'm missing my first visit.

An updated hotel with all the latest amenities, and modern feel, but all within a 100 year old bldg. Rooms are spacious, the mini bar has a lot of selection, the pricing is expensive, but such is life for minibar prices. Our unit came with a mini fridge. It did not have a coffee bar, but if you request it, they bring it to your room. The bar on the 24th floor is very cool. The hotel seems pretty centrally located, walking distance to all the nearby well ranked restaurants, down the street from the Ft. Worth convention center, as well as the Water Gardens and JFK memorial.

Great location. Curtain in room wouldn’t close completely so we ended up waking up with sunlight very early. Went to make coffee, and no coffeemaker in a hotel calling itself 4-star is unreal. The Kimpton Amsterdam has coffeemakers in the room. We passed on the $7 M&Ms. The parking situation is problematic (none but valet for $49/day) but kinda expected in a downtown location. The bedding was superb and the room was quiet and well cooled. Would be nice to have a fan of some sort for air movement but very comfortable sleeping arrangement. We want to buy the pillows as they were very comfortable.

I recently stayed at the Kimpton Harper Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, during my partner's work conference. The room's decor was stunning, and the overall ambiance was truly delightful. The hotel's proximity to numerous restaurants provided us with a plethora of dining options, and the convenience of being just a 10-minute walk from the local train station was ideal. Despite a post-checkout issue, Wayne Foster's exceptional service and swift resolution showcased the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, a good stay with nice amenities and a staff that is willing to help their guests.

Man at the front desk was not friendly. Never got a receipt. No directions, didn’t tell us what amenities the hotel offered. I mean it was absolutely nothing. Took us a long time to figure out how to turn on the lights in the room, would have been nice for the front desk to let us know we needed a key for the lights. They had an extra $150 “hold” charge on my card that still hasn’t come back. No one was welcoming, no one was helpful. We left annoyed and rooms were not that nice. We had 2 towels in the room for 3 people also. For the price this place was not near worth it

The Kimpton Harper is in a beautiful art deco era building and I am glad they kept the character rather than remodel with some massive impersonal entrance. So you take the elevator up to the top floor to check in. The elevator is fast and you don’t have to wait long so it’s still convenient. I guess that’s a little quirky but I like that. The rooms are lovely, spacious, very clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable. There was a little panther statue in the closet, One of Fort Worth’s nicknames is Panther City. I had everything I needed. The staff was very friendly.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room and service were impeccable. The location was easily accessible and inviting, especially with the Valet. Trey did an outstanding job day in and day out that I was there. The morning coffee downstairs was a nice treat each day. Lastly, corner room views highlight most of downtown Fort Worth. Thanks for the great stay!

This place has it figured out from top to bottom. Reception is on the 24th floor, the top floor, which also has a bar. The employees are welcoming and kind and make you feel like you are here to be taken care of. The building has been tastefully restored but still has vintage touches like the elevators, the rooms, etc. The beds are amazing, the pillows are super soft, and the bathrooms are spacious and really nice. I love this hotel.

Excellent experience with staff at hotel and restaurant. Super nice people! Location is great if you have things to do specifically downtown. Great restaurants in the area. Parking was our only issue. $64 to valet park our F250 overnight. Which wasn't in a garage but on the next street over. But overall great experience!

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Fort Worth. The location is great, very walkable to lots of restaurants. The staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar and bartender were great. We also added breakfast each morning, and it was a good start to our day.

Waiting and still waiting for our valet car because they're understaffed (it's been 30 mins). Made the bride and bride of honor out two deposits down (one done earlier) for the same reservation. Promised two rooms, said only one day before. Told they were connected, they're not. TV is broken. It's a nice hotel, but service is lacking More
This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. From the bar, to the staff, to the room, it is amazing! We would recommend this to anyone we know who is coming to stay in Fort Worth. Special thanks to Wayne for being so kind as we checked in! We are excited for our stay.

The female bartender was absolutely rude and condescending. She was not helpful and unwelcoming. My fiancé and I came to Fort Worth for a getaway weekend and enjoy the big town small city feel and this bar tender definitely made me feel as if I were in an urban area within a big city. Don’t recommend. More
I booked a room under a promotional link on their actual website, paid for the room, and then was told that the promotion wasn't valid. I called and was told for $65 more, I could get the promotion. The person I talked to was not helpful at
I would have given all 5 stars but we did late check in and I asked the guy to make sure it showed us for 2 nights and he said yes. We got back the next day after visiting family and our keys weren't working so had to go get that fixed. We
Nice hotel and friendly atmosphere. My biggest gripe is the valet. My wife and I waited to be helped a solid 10 minutes before we had to engage the valet team (and this was after we texted to have the car brought up). Both times we picked
I’d like to start off by saying when we got to our first room there was hair in the shower from the last guest who stayed the night before. Because of that our room was switched. After we switch rooms, we ended up accidentally leaving a
Really really nice hotel right in the middle of downtown Fort Worth. Sometimes I'm worried about places like this that "look nice" but underneath it's just a good paint job, but this hotel was more than I expected in terms of niceness.
This was the third hotel we stayed at on a 3 day trip. This was my favorite of the three we stayed at (The Renaissance, The Sinclair, and Kimpton Harper). This suite had a very homey and relaxing feeling. The full layout is nice and
The Harper was fantastic. Beautiful hotel, wonderfully attentive and hospitable staff. The Refinery 714 with Zach was a highlight and Trey/ the other bellhops were quick, respectful and patient! Will definitely be back. More
Super nice and quiet hotel downtown Fort Worth! Restaurants and coffee shops within walk-in distance. Hotel room is clean and cozy! Staff is okay. Reception in 24th floor! More
