Perfect location for hosting a barbeque park in the wild! Advisable to get there by 9 to 10am to get the best spot. It has a kichen area, with sink and running water. Has a fire place and also electrical outputs. You however need generator if you need to use them. There is no electricity at this picnic location, so come fully charged on all electronics. There are no toiletries, so carry yours. There are rangers patrolling the site, so it's quite safe during day time. Guests however must leave the site by 6pm as it's almost an hours drive to the Langata Gate

Ein kleiner Platz zum Picknicken mitten im Nairobi National Park mit ein paar überdachten Möglichkeiten, um sich hinzusetzen und es gibt sogar die Möglichkeit ein wenig Wasser zum Waschen. A small picnic spot in the middle of Nairobi National Park with a couple of covered places to sit and even some water to wash up. Sehemu ndogo ya picnic katikati ya Mbuga ya Kitaifa ya Nairobi iliyo na sehemu kadhaa zilizofunikwa za kukaa na hata maji ya kunawa.

Nice shaded picnic site within the National Park However the toilets are boarded and thus unusable. For a better picnic experience, KWS needs to provide better facilities and it will be very popular and also open up the toilets ...

Will be a great picnic site in a few months. Right now it’s muddy and no shelters are finished. There are two sets of benches so we used one for our picnic! Look forward to returning when it’s complete! Beauty all around us!!

Kingfisher is one of the best open ground with beautiful umbrella acacia trees. The pit latrine type of washroom are available. Watch for lions that do patrol around the riverline area.

Was a nice place to sit and take your snacks with friends and loved ones as you continue touring the park, there's only two rules, -keep the place Clean -first come first serve

Just somewhere we had a stop over. I was not comfortable staying here thinking animals can come out of the bushes . I was already warned not to try the toilets …

Great place to eat lunch in the national park, with lots of shade from acacia trees and a washroom. Watch out for monkeys and hawks that like to steal food!

The site has recently been refurbished and is now a wonderful place for a picnic or just for relaxing. Only minus: the toilets are in a terrible shape.

Nice place bit make sure you've paid to use it, so you're provided with armed game rangers to protect you from wild animals attacks e.g. lions etc
