I COULDN'T POST THIS UNLESS I GAVE THEM A STAR. I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THE NICE COMMENTS WERE POSTED BY THEIR FRIENDS. THEIR MOTTO SHOULD READ: "THE CUSTOMER ALWAYS COMES LAST!" 1. To start, my diamond ring and camera and other items went missing. The police weren't able to recover them. Unknowingly, I paid King's Transfer $2062.00 to have three guy's (who were bullies) to come in and violate me and my home. 2. They have yet to refund $2,062.00 (or at least partial) for a HORRID EXPERIENCE. I spoke to my credit card company and they told me I have a case. I deserve to get my money back (I should have done it right away), but thought I could come to a financial agreement. However, the greed of the owners won. I did not get my money. 3. My couch was left in the building's hallway because the guy's said they couldn't get it up the stairs. They violated a city-by-law. If there was a fire tenants would not be able to get out because the couch was blocking the hallway. 4. They refused to pack (which was written in the contract) laundry detergent, shampoo, or dish detergent because they said it would take them too long. It took me an additional 8 hours to finish what they left. 5. They walked on my couches and wood furniture (I have pictures to prove it). Also, they loaded my, 85- inch plasma TV without protection onto the truck. (while this was happening, I had to listen to one of the guy's complain that he should be at home with his girlfriend instead of working). I caught the other guy up in my bedroom using my scale to weigh himself. 6. After several months without a couch I finally got it up to my apartment. This attests that her crew didn't know what they were doing in the first place. They also, sent a truck that was double the size and made me pay over $200 for gas I didn't use. When a company says that they are associated with the BBB is fruitless. A company can appear to be good even when it is not. The company will not get a bad rating unless they get a written report from the customer. Otherwise it is not recorded. I did a long distance move from Manitoba to New Brunswick. Booking the move was great. The guy in sales was very professional and courteous. Said my items would arrive between June 6th and June 21st. The guys who loaded my stuff were professional, they tagged it, gave me papers. I was notified on June 8th that my items were in their warehouse in Wpg and that the driver would be in touch a day or two before my items would be dropped off. Then communication broke down. June 21st came and went. The guy in operations did not respond to my emails and when he answered his phone he was not aware of my contacting him. Called the next Monday and he had no idea where my stuff was. At least an hour later he told me my items were 2.5 hrs away in a nearby city, that there was trouble with the truck, or something, I was very unclear on what was happening. He told me that my items wouldn’t be arriving that day, but that the driver would call me when he was coming. I emailed again my complaints on that Friday before the long weekend as I had received no word from the driver and called the next Tuesday. Again hadn’t checked his email and he said he’d be in touch with the driver and get back to me. Two hours later I left a message on his answering machine because he’d still not been gotten back to me. At 7pm I was contacted by, I’m assuming, someone in HR in Ontario apologizing for the mishap (which I appreciated) and she said she’d send me an email with information. I never got it and was no contacted by her again but I was called by KTVL sister company Premiere Van Lines, and she told me my stuff had been on their property since the 19th. Long of the short I got my stuff and the men loading and unloading my belonging were great. Management is sorely lacking in communication skills. They were two weeks late with my items and because of that I pointlessly paid for a storage unit for the month of June. I also did not know that my items would be transferred from one van to another. I’ve moved two times before this and I am very unimpressed. I would never recommend anyone use this company or any company they were affiliated with.

I had employed this company to do three major moves in under two years for me .. all within the City of Winnipeg. It cost me a significant amount of money each time but I am willing to pay for a professional company with professional/superior customer service. Initially my first move went without too many glitches but the ones following had issues. Such as, the lead driver downplaying the extent of my damages to my expensive furniture upon delivery, my bed not being properly set up with the side rails of the bed falling apart, some serious water damage issues with an expensive wool rug and other items while in their storage facility for two years. I had pictures of my rug before the actual move to the warehouse and two years after it came out. I showed it to them (before & after pics) and naturally they denied they had any water issues in the storage container I was paying for. I did not have full insurance coverage on my items being stored in their warehouse, and trusting that their facilities were safe & dry, I was provided a menial compensation of under $25 for an 80 lb very expensive, wool carpet that had lines of water damage throughout. I was not even provided the full compensation of their automatic coverage of .60/lb. I could have claimed on my home insurance policy but then I’d end up losing more in the end paying a higher premium. I’m an experienced mover and this is my first unfortunate encounter. Not to mention that a few of the more senior people within Kings are family members and “ covering” for each re: customer concerns . Sheer disappointment in the end.

Humphrey, We would like to express how Thankful we are to have your 3 employees move us. Kent, Matt and Brett were so professional, friendly and respectful! When they first arrived to our home in Ste. Anne, they each took their turn to shake Don’s hand and introduce themselves. He knew immediately that we had hired the right moving company. They took such great care of all our belongings, wrapping them so carefully and unloading them in the exact the way. It all went so smoothly. My girlfriend was over and we all had so many laughs. These 3 guys were funny, yet got the job done perfectly. We find this is such an important characteristic. The fact that they were so down to earth and made this stressful day fun. We all had pizza after the move and they felt like family. It’s all about how employees treat their customers and they….by far….were AMAZING! Great Customer Service is hard to find these days. Humphrey, you were so attentive from our first email to inquire about movers, right to the end. You quickly answered every question we had. Thank you! Very happy with my experience with Kings Transfer. My initial contact with Jill was terrific. She explained everything I needed to know and provided me with a contract quickly. She was also able to get my move booked within a couple of days. I was thankful for that as I was on a tight timeline. I was contacted by dispatch as promised the day before to advise of the move time and confirm details. The move team of Kent, Cain and Franco were very professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. They prepped both move areas with runners and all handled all items carefully. Doors were needed to be removed at both locations to accommodate the items, but all was reassembled to original. A freezer lid also needed to come off as it was too big for the doorway. Disassembly and reassembly was executed perfectly. Paperwork to finalize the job was handled by Kent quickly and he explained all the details. The cost and time was exactly as I expected. Thank you! Great job! I wouldn’t hesitate to call on Kings Transfer again for a future moving job!

King's was recommended to my mother for her recent move. Although we were apprehensive at first because it had been a number of years since anyone in the family had experience with a moving company, Humphrey was always available to answer and address any concerns or questions we had (both by phone and email). Our move out / move in was spaced over two separate days and we had the same crew (Adam, River and Kane) both days. These young men were friendly, courteous, and professional. They work very efficiently and it is very clear they work well together as a team and put us at ease every step of the way. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Humphrey and especially this wonderful move trio of Adam, River and Kane. My mother mentioned to me that she was very satisfied with the overall cost of the move as well. Thank you again Adam, River, Kane and Humphrey!!

Very disappointed in this company. I requested a quote and the 1st one was very low compared to when I moved north. I explained to the sales guy that I felt the quote was to low. Over the phone I went through room by room explaining to him item by item and he sent me a second quote that seemed to be in line with what I had expected. A few days before I requested I needed packers. At the end of the day they charged me double the 2nd quote. At this point they had me where they wanted me as they don't unload until I produced a bank draft for the amount that was double the quote. On top of all this I am finding broken and damaged items. The guys were pleasant to work with but paying $26,000 plus to move a single household is absolutely insane.

I had to arrange a move in Winnipeg for my family while I live in Vancouver. The team at Kings' was fantastic in helping get things sorted out and organized. I flew in the night before and the next day the packers showed up exactly on time and did a great job. The moving team came in the next day - again - right on time - and got everything moved without a hitch. Great packing, great moving, great communication and great pricing. Hassle free, with service over and above.

The young man that helped us move from our home to long-term storage and then the group of young fellows that helped us take stuff from long storage into our apartment where amazing. They listen to everything we asked them to do they always had Smiles they helped us very much with some of their own ideas and everything was transferred with respect and care. I would recommend that Kings transfer be hired for any moving needs

I recently had King of The Movers pack and load some precious items from my childhood home. Daryl the mover was so kind and caring as was his other helper, they quietly went about what needed to be done saw it was a stressful situation and took it into his hands and cared for the items as they were his own personal things. Kevin and Marpreet were on time and worked very steadily and had my possessions loaded as quickly as possible. They were very professional and once at the other end of my move they unloaded and placed everything where it was supposed to go. It was a long day for them but they handled themselves well. We hired a crew of 4 guys to move some incredibly heavy and awkward cast iron radiators into our 100 year-old character home. Our house has just been renovated so we knew we couldn’t use “just anybody”. No one scuff, scratch or sent to our home. Kings Transfer did a phenomenal job - a huge congratulations and thank you!

The movers Harvey, Darrell & Ambrose were excellent and professional on how they conducted themselves throughout the move. They were very careful with bringing in furniture and other items resulting in no issues. This is the second time I have used Kings Transfer and highly recommend them.

The guys were really nice and did a great job packing everything up to move out of the house. There were some scratches on the hardwood, which is being replaced, so I have to make sure they have better straps for carrying the appliances back in, and avoid scratching the new floor.

It was a great experience moving with king's transfer van lines! From beginning to end! We had the full packing service also which is so much better & faster then packing yourself. Great crew at packing, loading & offloading at delivery. 5 stars for us. Thank you

Unfriendly, unhelpful, reluctant to do the work. Grease stains on sofa have not come out even after cleaning from a professional. Drank from our glasses and taps without asking. Complaints not received well from management. Do not use.
