It's a hidden place, a gallery with very few stores, but there are three markets so it's fine to buy groceries. the biggest audience are customers of the markets... and most have an atmosphere of fights and disagreements and whenever I go to this place I am surprised by something similar, leaving this place with a hostile and rude atmosphere, not to mention the people who steal from the shelves and this happens all the time. bringing a bad quality of life not desired by me and by anyone else! no fights, no discussions, no intolerance, no theft and let's try to be better and more educated as humans that we are for this place to be amazing to live called Dalston (England).
I live very close to this shopping centre. I mainly use it for Sainsbury's and Superdrug, and very occasionally Matalan and Iceland. The side entrance to the centre (which is closest to my house) often closes two hours before Sainsbury's, which means that when Ive worked late and just need to stop in on my way home, that I have to walk extra around the side to get out. So I shop at Aldi now as much as possible because the entrance to that is on the street. The roof is usually leaking in numerous places, so after a heavy rain you play "dodge the buckets and puddles". The one positive is the lovely veg and fruit stand in front of Iceland with great prices and produce.
Was a cleaner here got promised it's a full time job, one of there staff came back from holiday which, cut my hours to 16 hrs meaning I was covering someone on holiday. Then they gave the weekends sat and sun none of there staff was willing to do but its not even enough hrs not even part time how can anyone survive on those hrs. It was early morning start then when I got sweared at by one of there staff I quit, the managers like your not willing to work ridiculous as she was not acknowledging the fact why a new staff was been picked on and got sweared at for no reason as I was casually working away madness.
It is an old shopping center, although you find a variety of shops, the shopping center as a whole lacks social areas, lacks a family spirit. Instead it is an old square buiding with shops but not real personality. Visiting a shopping center should be an experience in which you feel safe, you feel welcome, you are able to enjoy the surroundings, but there are not surroundings. I talking in terms of decoration, in terms of options to enjoy perhaps a painting, perhaps a little monument, perhaps some screens with music. Small things may create a more positive effect on people's visit.
It is a relatively small shopping centre. I usually go to Sainsbury's, Holland and Barrett and Matalan, Card factory. I had bad experience with a shop the opposit of the Sainsbury's entrance. They had announcment that they are closing and selling half price. I went and bought bottom sheet which lable stated that i can use without ironing and that it makes less wrinkles. When I washe it it was wrincles way too much comparing from the normal sheets. Actually, this shop isnt closed down at all. they just used a fake lable to get more sales. It is a bad quality of goods.
Lovely shopping center with multicultural people, smells and flavours. Great location in Dalston kingsland, good transports accessibility. Stores are Good with nice atmosphere and product's. Staff are nice and polite with good customer service skills. Service is fast when comes to payment. Stores are well decorated and organized and easy to find desired items. Opening times are good, accessible on week days as well weekend's. Lots of choice with good quality and accessible prices . Stores have good access and are well located
The shopping centre opens every morning at 8am Monday to Saturdays but the black cleaner is still cleaning the floor of the centre well past 8am furthermore he is ranting and raving at shoppers walking past allegedly because they can't read the cleaning signs he has put there which incidentally are always put in the wrong place... You would have thought that he would have cleaned the shopping centre floors before 8am and disappeared but no no he's still there.. Very poor management of the centre by the manager/s...
Nice little shopping centre which has more ot less every shop that you need the basics also has parking place st the back its usually empty as it abit expensive but I dont mind paying that extra for palromg so you do not have to walk 2 3 miles after you have done your shopping I actually like this multicultural shopping centre full off all walks off life. Its actually really nice outdoor shop are good aswell they have all you need really. Rather go to one place and get everything than go all over london .
Is a big contrast between generous hallway, like a roman atrium and shops. Costa coffee was so away from you know about this international brand, I felt surrealistic, a Dada experiment. A girl who supposedly serve me, made ne feel extracts in her social life, talking and joking and let me wait till she finished her conversation. Toilet was so dirty, I couldn't touch anything in there. I bought a coffee, because Kingsland hasn't any public toilet, unacceptable for a mall. But friendly people though.
You have to pay £1 coin, for use of a public toilet. Not great when you do not carry change on you. No toilets for pregnant ladies to use? Questionable ethics? You have to pay £3.50 for parking for the 1st hour, and they do not allow payment by Amex, when all the shops in the mall do and there is no help button on the parking machine screen. Suggestion, spend minimum of £20 within the mall and have a parking incentive in place, to attract more customers and users of the car park
This shopping mall in London is a shopper's paradise! It offers an impressive array of stores, from high-end boutiques to popular brands, catering to all tastes and budgets. The modern architecture and spacious layout make it a pleasure to explore. With a variety of dining options and entertainment venues, it's the perfect destination for a fun-filled day of shopping and leisure.
There's a large Sainsbury's, an Iceland and an Aldi. Holland and Barrett - shame they don't do much food any more. Splendid furniture and decor shops if bling is your thing. Cheap but stylish clothes. Corsetry and African fabrics. Costa's at the entrance has cleaned up a bit and is the only choice now the one over the road has shut. Must try it some time.
Awful shopping centre, full of useless shops selling cheap tacky rubbish (apart from Sainsburys, Matalan and Superdrug). This shopping centre is a health and safety risk, no maintenance the roof has been leaking onto the floor for years and the lighting on the external ramp hardly works making it extremely dangerous at nightime.
Didn't like it here at all, as this is an inclosed area with many customs walking throughout, no one was wearing a mask as current government guidelines suggest. There were many closed down shops and my biggest concern was the fact that there were various sections of the centre that had warning bollards as the roof was leaking.
Very good. Lots of variety, at the cheaper end of the market. The stalls in the walkway seem especially good value. I bought a handbag for £5 and when I got home, discovered it is leather. Amazing! It was lovely to be able to walk around from shop to shop under cover and so not getting wet from the drizzle.
I have a positive experience here. They have shops that you can check out, options not much as the place are not a usual shopping centre place. I can find things, from no name shops and Matalan, but basically, that's it. Shops keep closing down and out of the blue new appearing but it is what it is. …
I guess the centre is goid enough particularly for complete shoppers, it has ample albeit expensive car park and you can walk straight into famous Dalston Market through the centre. You could get all you need in this area in a 300 metre radius. Nice location but centre not as spacious as it used to be
This shopping centre needs a hage revamp & the parking facilities are appalling. They do have a decent amount of shops, but it's very basic & they don't have any public toilets, which I find a bit ridiculous. It's good if know exactly what you want or if your expectations aren't that high.
It's cute but man we need a bit of an upgrade. Most shops were were empty and by empty I mean closed down, at least decorate it a little maybe some plants and art but anyway there was a little crowd In there. I know I'm not that popular maybe there was a celebrity lurking around near by.
A very multicultural shopping experience can be has here. The shopping centre itself needs a massive overhaul, as its appearance is very dated. Cannot day the car park is overly safe. Directly outside you have the local market and an abundance of cultural cafes and restaurants.
One star, dont deserve that either. Getting worse in this centre, rubbish shops now , the "home store" has been "closing down" for god knows how long, the prices are still very high... One of the staff told me off for opening a towel to see the size, I walked out right away....
Has a beauty salon and hairdressers. Peacocks is good and the Matalan is on 2 floors! It's enormous and a lovely shop. You can get no end of things for your home on there and plenty of clothes too. A great family shop. It also leads out to the Ridley Road market too.
Apart from Sainsburys, Iceland, Superdrug, Matalan and Holland & Barrett the shopping centre has a lot of shops selling pretty much the same sort of houseware/furniture. Most recent addition is an Aldi's but the space feels really cramped for a supermarket.
You can pick up a bargain here in one of the independent shops which are forever “closing down” however when walking through you can see it’s a sad centre which once was busy. Very limited shops I’d say matlan and sainsbury are probably the
Fairly decent basic shopping centre with range of businesses. However one of the units indoors is currently renting to a butcher/fishmonger and the smell is unbearable for long periods of time, it gets into all the surrounding shops. Makes
Small shopping arcade, half the stores are well known national big name stores, the others not so well known or are local independent shops and they seem to only be there for a short while before closing down, can get a bit crowded even on
Now here's a shopping centre that I've been going to for the best part of 15 years. It has encountered many radical changes over the years with shops coming and going, however it is still a formidable place to shop and it has great access
I only used to come in here for peacocks but due to the pandemic it has now gone there is also a Iceland, Sainsbury's, Matalan, a beauty salon(I used to get my eyebrows done there before the pandemic) and several other clothes shops which
It's a one stop shopping centre to buy whatever you need. Fresh fruits sold at a very cheap prices and African food stores to buy things fresh from Africa. African clothing and a lot of other big shops like matalan, sainsbury's, boot,
Found Aldi to be a small store, with no wired shopping trolleys , so I left and went into Sainsbury in the same mall. Bolt cab driver arrived and left because did not know how to open barrier to car park, nightmare, had wait for Uber
Sat down to eat, atmosphere was really dull and staff were all over the place. A person waited over an hour for their order of 1 half chicken. Me and my family ended up walking out and going to nandos as the prices were very steep
The shopping centre covers respective shops and at times full because of other stalls selling their products in the midst. There should be a better way of arranging the stalls that makes it organised and attractive to customers.
It's place you will get whatever you want Especially for cooking all kind of food, Nigeria foods, Ghanaian food stuff, Sierra etc all friacan and Caribbean food including Asian and English food Its a place you should visit
It's my local shopping centre and has some Good shops but I can't lie it needs public toilets and the parking is robbery. Back in the day when Matalan opened ithought this place was going to get better but it didnt …
Great place to visit, gave 1 star less because of the Pidgeon problem, these vermins fly so close to your face you literally have to tilt your head to avoid losing an eye, seriously, not exaggerating here.
The addition of Aldie super market ads a more attractive package, lots of places to shop for almost every thing you might need. You can get candy floss here and roasted peanuts and other goodies …
What can you say - lots of shops! Holland & Barret, foot locker, JD, Sainsbury's... Fantastic market outside for fresh veg/fruit/kosher/halal/cafes/restaurants. Hidden London - London life at best.
Not much shops inside for shopping. Not sure if they were closed. Sainsbury is huge and has lot of good options in store. Aldi local is small, but has all essentials. Iceland has good options
If you are looking for bargains and food Dalston. Is a good place to go discounts in. Hardware shop great market for food veg clothing same for the shopping centre great value ok quality
I am happy with the variety of shops and products available in this small, local shopping centre . In an area that has too many gastrobars and provides entertainment primarily for
I'm here to sell community fibre broadband but the shopping centre is like a ghost town however if you need a fast reliable affordable broadband service then come visit me here
Convenient store for quick purchases. Nice kids cars for 1 pound per ride. You can buy all you need here - food, clothes and stuff for home. There is a big Sainsbury's inside.
a comprehensive shopping centre next door to the famous DALSTON MARKET. here you will find the 3 PHONE STORE managed by ASHRAFUR the telecommunications and technology GENIUS.
Where's Blu Inc, Burton, & Kfc has gone sure has changed from my days lol Used to love hanging out here. Shops look dated, even tho the area has been improved somewhat.
Good place to shop for all kind of continental food items and ingredients. The little shopping complex is not a bad sight to get your clothes and other household items.
I think the only shops in here you can actually shop in is JD and Sainsburys. A very out dated shopping centre that could do with some investment. No toilets too.
Only there to use the cash machine. Would be useful if there was more than one. The amount of people queuing was starting blocking the pathway for other shoppers.
Getting better everything you need really in one space and a lovely little hot donut cart which is amazing!. And all the fruit and veg in the market great place
They need a public toilet in there. There's nowhere to pee for ages unless you go to a cafe where you need to purchase something. Other than that, it's fine
Very nicely located, staff very friendly and nice people working onsite. Very nice sainsbury, a bit left uncared Matalan, you can find almost everything.
I love the smell of candy floss and popcorn one end and doughnuts the other end, but I can't have any of them, but I dont I mind I just love the smell.
Went to the key cutting mobile shop, price was extortionate £18 odd for two keys, you know the place is dodgy when they shave the make of the key off
I had to go to Sainsbury's for gift cards and some of the gift card codes didn't not work. I am still waiting for a refund from Apple.
Long shopping centre housing several businesses and stalls at Dalston. There are a lot of varieties and it seemed like a mini market.
Has a lot of things that you won't find elsewhere. It's a great place to find both African and Caribbean staples. Fantastic prices.
Is a small shopping centre, but has the main shops; Sainsbury, Iceland, Holland Barret and for clothing Matalan and Secret Curves.
Great place to find pretty much anything. Some days you can catch the doughnut guy outside Sainsburys! Best ever doughnuts!
Hidden gem at Central Station! Always worth popping in to see if you can find any bargains. Great food shops around too.
Okay, not much shopping facilities. The main shop is sainsbury. Outside of tge shopping mall has tge markets and shops
It's nice but I think it just need a bit of repairs on it to be honest. Have a look around and you see what I mean.
Very sad & tired place. Too many cheap clothing shops. Lacking a soul. But it does have a large Matalan & Sainsbury
Difficult to find if unfamiliar with the area - put Martel Place E8 in satnav, should get you there ok.
It's okay I suppose don't like what the council is doing to Ridley rd market though ♀️ …
It was less busy than in the morning rush hour or evening rush hour when it comes to traffic.
Excellent value for money. Excellent Customer service. Definately be shopping there again.
Great day shopping and went to sainsbury's for lottery tickets played and served well
Not much to say. A few popular shops available in the mall and stalls set up inside.
It is ok, would like to see those cheap stalls move onto Ridley Road market street.
It used to be so much better. Lots of business going out of business. Empty shops
The shopping centre has a lot of different shops and a car park underneath
Always a bargain and many shops locally make this a good shopping spot.
Does what it says on the tin... nothing fancy... but always on time.
What kind of Mickey Mouse mall doesn't have toilets or seating?
I wish I could share but I can't write very well. Sorry.
Please do this place a service and renew it if possible
It's a nice place to shop and prices are reasonable
I come here for my fave bargains. Every time. Sold!
Nice place for shopping but no public toilets
Hidden behind am absolute drug den of a road
It's a very cosy place to do your shopping
Not Harrods. But basic and functional
Great options just needs more Steaks
Great place to buy quality products
The only part of Dalston I’d visit
Good selection of shops and stalls
Very clean and staff are polite.
