Most incredible team! I may not get completely pain free, but it has helped me to keep mobile. It's like they found all the kindest and caring people to work for them. I highly recommend kopi, if there was a 6th star I'd would've picked it. Amazing people and they do a excellent job. After reading some of the comments, I'm sorry that some people have not had the same experience as I have. I guess some of the employees may have been having a hard day, we all do. I couldn't imagine working every day with people who are suffering and sometimes at witts end, they are there having to see us in sometimes our worst state that's got to take a strength to do everyday. Not all procedures are the same and for many they are making a difference. As far as the money complaints, the dr's I've seen, they all have said they could make a lot more money if they were to operate in the USA. So to me it seems they care more about us and trying to help than money. I personally think that the government should spend more resources into the system. Anyways sorry about going on, I just hope that more people can get the best help they need, and I'm so grateful for the help they have given me I still believe that they have some of the most amazing people working there. Love the team! I'm not very good at this Anyways, halfway through procedure's 2 done 2 to go I'm looking forward to my tourcher treatment today and I'm looking forward to the return of Dr. Murphy. Thank you so much Dr. George for helping me while he was away, your an awesome Dr. I appreciate what you've done for me with the pain!! I have nothing but praise for the whole team!!! Thank you all so so much!!!

I'm been to this clinic once to start the process for migraine botox (referral from my GP). That was four months ago and essentially nothing has progressed beyond my initial appointment. When I left, the plan was for them to do my insurance paperwork and they assured me they "did this all the time". I would give 0 stars if I could. I have followed up with them so many times. They forgot to submit my documents, then when prompted the did submit (but I shouldn't have had to do this), then found out they submitted but "forgot" to have the doctor sign the form!! And of course the Dr is only in once per month. I'm at my wits end. I don't know if it's worth it start from scratch somewhere else or just wait it out a few more months and see if they can manage a few simple (and very standard) forms. At my initial appointment I was told I would likely be back in max 2 months getting my injections....I'm going into my 5th month and they basically ghosting me now, I leave voice-mail and they don't bother returning them. I'm in so much pain daily. This is such a simple treatment and they can't seem to handle it.

After years of chronic pain I eagerly waited a very long time to finally get in with a doctor at KOPI. I finally got an appointment and was excited and nervous at what I considered my last chance at a new idea for recovery. To my dismay, the experience could not have disappointed me more. I met with someone named Dr. Meredith and he was plain cold. After his maybe 6 minute assessment and discussion with me, he recommended something I have been trying for years without success. That was the end of it. No recommendation on a certain practitioner for treatment, and not even a follow-up appointment. It is upsetting to wait so long for an institute that claims to be the best, yet having to walk out of there feeling way worse than when I walked in. If you are looking for a pain clinic, do NOT waste your time with this one, or at least this particular doctor. Also, note that it is mandatory to provide a urine sample on the first visit, which is just uncomfortable and unexpected. Wish they could have told me a couple of days in advance.

So I’ve had what I’ve been told is a trapped nerve in either my shoulder or neck for about 5 years now, causes a lot of pain and discomfort when it gets going. Been to 4 physio clinics over the years with little success as to helping the pain. Went to see Dr. O’Connor with high hopes of possibly finding something to help only for him to not only not even examine me or feel around the area at all! But to just sit in the chair and say that I was lying and that the pain was all in my head, he told me that in 3 months I could come back for a freezing if I wanted after I waste away all my money at these physio places. I will never forget that. I’m writing this review 3 months afterward with those words still engrained in my head and the pain still nagging away at me. Completely disappointed in the lack of compassion and quality of care from this establishment. 10/10 would recommend to stay away unless you wanna be told your crazy and nothing wrong with you

Clinic assistant Michelle is one of the most uncompassionate people I’ve met that works in health care not to mention a chronic pain clinic. Most people dealing with long term chronic pain have a lot of really bad days and they certainly didn’t ask to be trying to live with chronic pain! To not return calls, to just plain forget to call in refills and have nothing to say but did I forget to do that is unacceptable!! At least pretend you care even if you don’t. She’s obviously never suffered chronic pain or the complications of not having pain meds when you need them!! If you’re too busy to return calls in a timely manner and don’t have time to do your refills get some help! If you don’t like dealing with people in pain get another job!! The only thing worse than her is the egotistical, arrogant control freak she works with Murphy!!!

I had stem cell therapy done on my hip. Dr. Quigg was informative, caring and sensitive to my pain situation. I have never felt better after my treatment. I was told by Mount Sinai Hospital that I would be in need of a hip replacement and that they would not book a follow up appointment with me. I was told to call them when my daily life becomes unbearable. Inflammatory medication did not help. I was taking 2 to 6 Tylenol a day to help me get through my day of activities. I have not taken a Tylenol since my stem cell treatment! I am not walking with a limp! Within six weeks of treatment, I was able to walk with some speed. Thank you KOPI and Dr. Quigg for helping me to get back to my regular daily activities. The stem cell treatment changed my life. I feel like myself again.

I am conflicted as to how I feel about my one appointment experience with KOPI. The wait time was 15 months. Long, but somewhat understandable given the state of our health care system. I would have preferred a bit more communication so I could wait a bit more patiently. The resident was fabulous. He took all of my information in great detail. He asked relevant questions regarding my medical issues. The doctor was friendly, but I do not think that he actually listened to what I was saying. He offered treatment options that are not relevant to my condition. It was as if he had a prepared script and my input was ignored. I am on the waitlist for surgery and I had hoped that KOPI would offer some relief while I wait. I suppose that I was expecting more options.

What a waste of my time. Why be a doctor if you cannot be compassionate. Just quit. Made me feel like a bad penny, just pass me around back to my Doctor. Not willing or able to try to help a patient at all. Every visit was a total waste. If you are retired from you day job, that is being a Doctor, stay retired. KOPI seems to be a place for washed up and retired no good Doctors. Takes forever to get it, and then they cannot do anyway. Waste of taxpayers money. This is a business they are running so they can keep billing Patients and OHIP and keep making money. KOPI is an epiphany on those olden days snake oil Doctors found on every corners .what a SCAM they are running here.

The staff was nice. But KOPI has been completely incompetent. My first visit resulted in a prescription that they never faxed to my pharmacy, so I had to call them and it took a week longer to get it, and a back x-ray that they never requested from the hospital so I was waiting months for nothing. My second appointment was by phone and it was decided that I would need a refill of the prescription, the refill request was never sent, even with my pharmacy sending a request fax to kopi. Than I was supposed to have a follow up call, and that never came. Have not heard from them in months. I don't feel like chronicly ill people should have to force doctors to do their job.

Today went to see DR Meredith and his assistant. we first started with his assistant what a wonderful person..did an exam on husband..made him feel comfortable...which I appreciated since we came from Ottawa and hubby suffers from cronic pain. DR Meredith came and gave his opinion on the situation. Dr Meredith is a great Dr who takes his time to explain confirms with you that you understood clearly. Thank you Dr see you soon and what a great experience...even if the outcome is not what you want to hear...they sure feel for you and want to do their best at giving some releif. Thank you.

Very Professional. Very Caring. Very much in tune with understanding the discomfort you are in and making it their goal to make you feel better. I am very impressed so far with my treatment. A VAST improvement from the daily agony I was going through. I my case- my pain is now mostly (if not ALL) GONE and that's after a decade of misery and seeking out specialists/physio/chiro, etc. I feel lucky to have been finally referred to KOPI and being specifically under the great care of Drs. Yach and Dr.Zamura. These are only two of the many great professionals at KOPI.

  • Allison Redford

Not worth the wait to see the doctors here. I would rather drive to either Toronto or Ottawa to be a patient at a better facility. These doctors are condescending and told me to keep trying the same things I've been doing the last two years to help my chronic pain. They were not willing to schedule a follow up. In addition, there was pee spilled all over the area where patients put their urine samples. When I told an employee, she brushed it off.

I can't express enough how grateful I am to Dr Kassam. From his professional yet personal manor, to his always willingness to explain procedures he leaves me feeling my concerns have been addressed fully with a plan that outlines diagnoses, treatment & follow ups . Once again Dr Kassam & Dr Yach made me feel totally at ease prior to and after a recent pain management procedure . Outstanding Thank you both .

I have taken my friend to KOPI for 2 visits so far. The staff and Drs have been beyond amazing with us! What great service and so friendly. She has had steroids injection in her back and within 24 hours on an pain level that was 10 plus is today a 6! She has been putting up with this for over 10 years now. What a great place and so accommodating as we are from out of the area. Thanks to all involved!

I have been treated by Dr Shyam for two years now. He is a wonderful doctor, with so much compassion and a very 'caring' side. I'm treated from my waistline to my ear, for both lumbar and neck issues. Some procedures offer minimul help, while others offer a 'pain free vacation, lasting from days to weeks. Dr. Shyam and all of his staff are absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much. Mark Shackles

Horrible place. treat patients like mice. You are the test dummy they really don’t know what to do and they also don’t believe you’re in pain. They used to do stem cell research they don’t anymore that’s the only thing that even worked. Go to Ottawa go to Montreal go to Toronto but don’t go to Kingston if you need help.

  • Mrs Kay89

Do not go to Dr Michael Yacob, he does not care about you, all he wants is your money, I spent over $7000 with him and he made my legs look 100% worse, he's unprofessional and very dismissive. Have a concern? Too bad with him,he will not address the concerns, go else where! If I could give negative stars I would

Great services, efficient and holistic ( once you get the referred appt) I'm pushing 70 and definitely NOT in active sports but there are methods ie cortisone shots in hands and shoulders for arthritis and chronic injuries that are helpful. Full of fancy sports memorabilia if that's your thing. …

The Centre staff are professional and caring right from the reception to the staff that work with Dr. Kahn. He has been able to reduce the pain I experience daily and for that I am grateful. He is professional and takes time to explain procedures and also considers my input seriously.

  • Karen North

Compassion is not the first word that comes to mind when I recall my approximately ten year experience with K.O P.I. The docs and nurses there are more than competent, usually professional, dedicated to their craft and I am sure make a big difference in some people's lives.

  • Li Chewy

I have come here for many years ever since a concussion where the hospital referred me here and they have helped me with numerous sports injuries, they’re great. I also go to physio near here. Thank you Alana and Dr. O’Connor! You’re both amazing.

  • Roxanne Cormier

Definitely my worse experience ever there (Dr. Yach). So unprofessional and careless that whenever I came back to my place I probably cried for an hour because I couldn't believe no one could help me with the kind of pain I'm dealing with.

  • Keith Lloyd

While the doctor has done phenomenal work, his assistant has made booking a properly timed follow up impossible. I attempted to update my phone number on multiple occasions, in person, by phone, voicemails and nearly three months later I'm

If you encounter a problem or an adverse reaction to prescribed medication and telephone for assistance the phone is NEVER answered & leaving a message is a futile exercise because your calls are NOT returned.

I just want to thank Dr. Yach. I don't know what I would have done if it wasn't for him. I owe the man my life. I can't say thank you enough. I hope he sees this, he is incredible at what he does. Thank you.

I have only positive things to say about the team at KOPI. The doctors, assistants and office staff are professional and caring. The treatments are not fun but the staff make it more bearable.
