I am a proud local. The Pub is a place where all types of locals gather, yarn, drink and eat. Always love this place because of the memories build and the darn delicious food Service on the bar side honestly has always been a tiny wait, no buzzer to notify staff. You'll find yourself waiting so long just to get something simple. That's probably the only downfall. Service on food side is simple and fast, never any problems. Always cooked to perfection, so good. Hidden gem it really is. Outside area is perfect to catch sun rays and vibes with friends and family. God bless everyone

Decent pub/bistro food. There’s a huge selection. The menu is plastered on signs on both sides of the bistro. There’s table/seating at the side closest to the Great Western Highway. Just follow the signs or walk around the bistro to find it. Drinks are bought/sold separately from the bistro, you have to go to the bar to purchase drinks. Drinks can be pricey. Plenty of parking on Wainwright Lane at the back of the hotel. There’s limited parking on the concrete car park but there’s plenty of extra room on the grass car park which also belongs to the hotel.

I genuinely love this place and come all the time, except I had a weird experience today. I was charged 7.80 for a schooner of coke? Even accounting for a Sunday, and having a surcharge for the day and fee for using eftpos I can't quite understand why it costs so much? I pay that price for a wild turkey and coke? And I pay 4 dollars usually when I come for dinner any other time. How does a schooner of beer cost less than a coke? I feel if your response is you increase the prices on a Sunday you should advertise that. Otherwise it's deceptive practice.

Always top of the list. Staff lovely, interaction n attentiveness the standouts. Had a meal prior to gaming, pleasant and obliging "cooking staff". Meal- quick, tasty n very affordable, variety for everyone is covered. Pleasantly unexpected mention- #1- Security, lay backed n casual, chit chat/acknowledges customers n helpful. #2- EVEN the fellow guests were mingling n super nice. That all wrapped up + good music = a most enjoyable night n deserves to be "The Regular".

I went out of my way to login to Google Reviews to submit this review, because the food was SO BAD. I ordered Chicken Schnitzel Meal and the chicken WAS PINK, it was so undercooked that I had to complain to uber eats and try and get my $70 back. The chips were hard like a raw potato. Honestly with absolute truth I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN to this restaurant because I feel ripped off and astonished by the terrible quality for what seems to me like an ARM AND A LEG. EWW

Found a hair in my meal. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to their nice dish. The chef did apologise but that doesn't take away the fact that there were strands of short black hair in my pasta dish. Edit: I also got a smart remark by one of the regular patrons that go here simply for drinking lots of water to get the hair out of my throat.

I always have the wobble-boot on when I leave my local an the atmosphere is great on the weekend,s as they have a tiping comp on the horses an I alway,s come very close to winning as I have won the tipping,s 3times an the winnings purse is always very handsome an $5 enter, you truly can't go wrong,giddy-up. …

I order their food often on Uber eats. I missed them a lot when they shut during Covid restrictions. I am glad they are now open again. Their food is delicious and has big portions.They can get a bit overzealous though with the salt but they still serve very delicious food. Their pasta Arrabiata is one of the only few things my toddler will eat.

No shade in been garden from the sun. Not hard to sort out, there is table sunbrellas but they are useless and only block you for 5 mins till the sun moves, would boost sales massively if it was sorted. That's why I don't drink there often, even though it's next a 2 min walk. Would rather catch an uber to a pub with a shaded beer garden.

This is the dirtiest and most dodgy venue in the Penrith region and perhaps Australia. It's a well known junkie/bogan hangout. I slipped in for a beer when waiting for a train and the patrons were disgusting. I didn't trust their glasses so I paid extra for a bottle. If you have any class or dignity you would not enter this place.

Food was very nice. Portions were good value for the money. Staff was friendly, bistro was clean. Would definitely go back. Only thing that was a disadvantage was the size of the tables, we had a 4 seater and wasn’t a lot of room for plates but other than that I would recommend it.

Great feed at good prices. Bistro was a bit noisy as people in the public bar were very loud. Definitely not a romantic place but both the guy behind the bar and the bistro staff were friendly and polite. Would recommend for a cheap feed. Rump steak and burger were both very nice.

Never judge a book by it's cover! Cleanest kitchen and awesome food. Schnitzel is the size of the plate! Fish is perfection on a plate and the steaks are measured by weight but need to be bit bigger sometimes but cooked exactly how you like. True story highly recommend the food.

Never disappoints. We have steak here at least once a month. You can't beat $15.99 for steak, chips, salad, mushroom sauce topped with a sunnyside up egg. It's better than lone star, hogs breath and outback steakhouse. Highly recommend this place to eat.

unless you're one of the local junkies who frequent the joint domt expect a warm welcome from staff- Food used to be good but omg I've tried the steak twice and it's the worst thinnest yucky cut of meat and the portions of chips in kids meal non existent

The bar staff are very keen to help same with management. It is now a dedicated hotel and gaming room. That do absolutely everything at all means to make sure I win on the gaming machine and go home with a beautiful young ladie to make love.

absolutely useless kitchen staff that barely speak English ordered 5 meals and got 5 boxes and only 3 meals will never go there again. then took 10 attempts to contact via phone if I could give less than 1 star I would....

This place is a no go zone the stuff should be sacked ive been there a couple of time and now baned for life life for complaning about the beer tastings bad and being in dring able i highly recommend avolding this place

Best hamburger ive had in a long time. Fresh veges sauteed in butter, with crisp fries. The lady chef was just so lovely. Being new to the area, Im really looking forward to dining here again in the future! :)

Amazing old style of a hotel with top nosh customer care. I will definitely recommend and return. I was awesome experience away from Sydeny CBD and easy going and well presented with a good customer care.

Reliable pub! Staffs great, venues clean and nicely renovated, foods decent and overall vibe of venue is quite nice. Plus there is heaps of onsite parking and it's right across the road from the station.

Fantastic meals, loved them, best barramundi in the Penrith district by far, steaks cooked to perfection fresh chicken schnitzel and seniors meals are great. Nice to have a local place to go.

It's just a mini casino, nothing much else to see or do. It needed a refurb 20yrs ago, all they done was updated the gambling room.

Staff were very lazy, had to wait ages to get served they were too busy texting on their phones. The service wasn't friendly. The manager was swearing in front of patrons.

The New owner have put a lot of money into the place. The bistro is one of the best around. Really great meals for $12.50 all day every day for a hug t bone stake meal.

My Experiences at Kingswood Hotel is *A little Hotel close to the Railway station *A nice quiet relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Friendly bar staff. Old School Pub. Pool Comp, meat raffles and good old classic pub tunes. Goes down well with a nice cold beer!
