About a year and a half ago we moved from London down to Sussex, in a particularly strsssful move caused by issues with estate agents and Solicitors - and when the packers from Kiwi movers turned up to pack up our belongings, we still weren’t sure if the move was going to go ahead, and this was 3 days before Christmas. Quote was very competitive, they were really accommodating with time frames, they answered all my queries and back and forth with possible dates due to solicotor issues, and never made me feel that anything was too much trouble. Absolutely everyone I spoke to at the company, from quote, initial booking and ‘sales guy’ to the crew packing and on the actual moving day, was completely professional, helpful, and made the whole experience immeasurably more pleasant than it would otherwise have been. They were all courteous and polite, and I felt my possessions were being looked after. They packed up boxes carefully and labelled correctly, advising me on white goods (no extra charge to take washing machine - and we were in a 3rd floor flat with no lift...). When we arrived at the other end, they waited patiently with us as the previous occupants hadn’t quite cleared out, and then were happy to take boxes where I needed them, suffering a couple of small changes of mind, and reassembling furniture quickly and skilfully. Once, one member of the crew didn’t think they would be able to dismantle and reassemble the cot in the bedroom I wanted it, but the rest of the team said they would give it a go anyway, and managed it perfectly. Although I left reviews at the time, and of course passed my feedback directly to the company too, I have been prompted to leave this review after hearing of a friend’s terrible experience (with another company), and just wanted again to express our huge gratitude to this company in how they dealt with us. And recommend them to others so you can hopefully also have the positive experience moving that we did! It seems that the level of customer service they showed is not as common as we’d all like. Great job by these guys. We are repeat customers. My husband, 14-month old baby and I moved from a partially furnished 2 bed/2 bath flat in central London to a house in zone 3. I hired Kiwi because my husband used them years ago and was impressed with them. I compared their quote and their services to other movers and it felt like compared to the other cowboys out there (the 2 man with a van who can barely communicate with you), Kiwi came across as more competent and reliable than the others. I would have given Kiwi 5 stars except the surveyor sent to assess the volume of our goods to pack and move woefully underestimated the job. Fortunately, when the 3 movers showed up the same day of the move, they took a look around and immediately realized that we all had to re-adjust our expectations. They were calm about it, they managed the situation and called in 2 more movers to help with the job. They did their jobs competently and confidently even though it took them 2 more hours than expected (even with 2 extra guys)! Thank you Kiwi Movers for employing such great guys! Moving isn't fun and this move was stressful, but they handled it well. I probably would have had a melt down with another mover especially with a 14 month old baby to take care of. Please give your movers a bonus!

I can highly recommend working with Kiwi Movers. They were absolutely awesome to work with - from the initial quote stage dealing with Dan in the office, who was friendly, practical and helpful to provide us with a number of different and competitive quotes to the team who helped us on the day led by Cameron (and including Dan, James and Quincy). Dan in the office was super responsive and followed up any questions really promptly which was the main reason we decided to go with Kiwi Movers. The team on the day arrived on time as agreed and pretty much set out to work straight away - they worked swiftly through the move taking into consideration all of our requirements as some of the stuff was to go to an interim home and the rest into storage. They worked with much care , attention and consideration and really made it look so easy , which we know it isn't! They packed up the vans in no time and were equally effective on the drop off also - they also helped to move around furniture to make sure everything was where we wanted it to be! The Kiwi team did a brilliant job moving us. Excellent service from Thomas coming to quote to us closing the door on our new home at the end of moving day. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was helpful and friendly and the quote was competitive. We had a lot of our own boxes which they were happy to use (lots of companies would want you to buy their boxes). The guys who packed and moved us were punctual, friendly, efficient, and nothing was too big a problem. Everything was well packed and clearly labelled (I was very specific about the labelling!) and well organised. Nothing ever seemed like a problem. They worked from 8am-7pm non stop and seemed to have endless energy and were still smiling when they had finished the job. It took a little longer than expected but probably because I asked them to do extra things like dismantle the furniture we inherited in the new house). Moving home is a stressful time - the guys were upbeat, kept us laughing and offered some great rugby chat. Even little things like writing funny labels on boxes is appreciated to make you smile during a stressful time. I would definitely recommend and would use again. The most professional and friendly moving company I think is out there. We had multiple issues when moving house and Cameron and his guys handled everything with good grace and humour. They were speedy and efficient when moving our belongings out of our old property. The people moving out from our new house however, took until gone 7pm to finish, and the guys patiently waited for hours even though it was going to mean a significantly longer working day for them. When it was their opportunity to unload our belongings they were just as fast but also very careful with our stuff, putting the company moving out (slowly) to shame. Even though it was late, they took the time to reassemble our bed, wardrobe and other pieces of furniture. The day was generally very stressful due to the delays but was mitigated massively by the positive attitude and work ethic of Kiwi Movers. Can't recommend them enough!

I had such a great experience moving to my new place with Kiwi Movers. Initially I was worried as the move required going up four floors with no lift access, so I was expecting the move to take a really long time and with several complications. However, Kiwi Movers were experts in tackling every challenge that I was stressing out about with smiles on their faces! From loading all of my things in a logical and efficient way, to unloading and carrying up the stairs - they had such a positive attitude that reassured me throughout the entire process. The Team Leader, Dan, didn’t seem phased by anything as the day went on, and they even helped me rebuild my bed and wardrobe, which made unpacking much easier and freed up my time on the day to focus on other tasks. If I need to move again, I’ll definitely be calling Kiwi Movers!

I had a really positive experience moving with Kiwi Movers. The team, led by Dan, was so friendly, courteous, professional and kind - and so nice to my kids too. They gave me great peace of mind by turning up at 8am on the dot both days, had a very amiable, unruffled attitude, and did the job efficiently and safely. A week after we moved I noticed that the guys had written some kind messages on the kids' blackboard - like 'enjoy your new home'- such a thoughtful touch. I was so grateful for their foresight (eg they left out some dishwasher tabs for us for our last night in our property, as our move took place over two days). I cannot praise Kiwi Movers highly enough. From the start, coming round to assess what was needed for the move & giving a quote, they were professional & friendly. Kiwi Movers are the dream team! I used them over two days to pack up a flat and move to a house close-by, swapping some furniture over between the two properties in the process. They could not have been kinder, more considerate or more hard-working and made the whole stressful process almost fun! Nothing was too much trouble and they were so thoughtful throughout, always asking questions to avoid mistakes, and going the extra mile. They moved a piano without any difficulty and very professionally. They approached every problem with calmness and humour and always found a solution. I really couldn't recommend them more. I have received my belongings in Australia (from London). The price was as discussed with kiwi movers staff, as was the timeframe. I had some weirdly packed fragile things sent, and they’re all still in tact and the boxes appear to have been well looked after. The staff in London were flexible and helpful and the advice they gave me about customs and labelling my things was all spot on too. When I was unhappy with the service received from the agency they used to ship my stuff within Australia, kiwi movers went above and beyond to more than rectify the situation and to make sure the other agency did their job. Would recommend, and would use again in a heartbeat.

We used Kiwi Movers to move two houses into one house - one outside London and one in London. It was an organisational challenge that was brilliantly met by the team. In three days the packing, moving and unpacking was complete. No mean feat I assure you! The guys worked tirelessly with good humour and nothing was too much trouble. They also took a substantial amount of rubbish away which was incredibly helpful and made the moving process even more stress-free. We had a particularly stressful move and the only thing that kept us sane were the guys from Kiwi. Eli and Christian came to pack up when we still hadn't had everything finalized by the solicitors! They were calm and extremely reassuring - and efficient. The packing was exemplary. The actual move saw them with 2 more colleagues - and the vans having to wait 2 hours before we got the keys! Yet again they were good natured and helpful and made the day so much less stressful than it might have been. These guys were amazing from start to finish. Everyone was professional, polite and good humored. From the initial contact with Myra in the office, to the estimating done by Michael, and the co-ordination by Thomas, nothing was too much trouble and they were very responsive. The crew, led by Dan, were hard working and fun to be around. When the move started to run over the expected time, there was not a word of complaint, and they kept going until the job was finished. Had an excellent experience using Kiwi for my removal and storage needs. They were friendly and helpful throughout the booking process (shout out to Dan), and provided an extremely competitive quote: they offer accessible and non-accessible storage options. The latter suited me and their price was the best around. Their removals are charged by hour which worked really well for me and their efficiency meant that the cost was great overall. I had a very good experience with Kiwi movers. The quote was professional and a fair market price. The crew that turned up to pack my two bedroom where very professional, kind and friendly. They packed my flat on the first day, (a big job) And then moved and reassembled beds etc on the second day, making sure that all items where int eh correct rooms and locations. They made what normally could be a stressful two day very easy. I will be recommending Kiwi movers to all my friends and family and if I move again I will be using them!

Dan and his team provided a great service for our recent move. He called before the move to confirm the booking and arranged for the team to come earlier than planned to make sure they got the job done. The team of three were all friendly and efficient and worked hard to get the job sorted. There was a minor hiccup where the van went to the wrong address initially which delayed them a bit but it didn't impact the day overall and they were careful not to charge us for the extra time. Great experience with Kiwi Movers! We were looking to work on quite a tight turnaround from point of contact to our items being moved and the team were very accommodating of this. The whole process was easy, clear and where extra insurances were required on high value items this was promptly arranged. On the day of the move, we had different points of contact for collection and delivery but the team clearly followed the instructions provided and made everything as seamless as it could be. Kiwi movers have been brilliant to deal with from start to finish. We moved out of our flat in February and planned to have our items in their storage unit for just 2 weeks, which turned into 3 months after some purchase delays on our house. This was no problem for Kiwi movers and they were very easy to communicate with whenever we needed them. We’re now in our new place, with all our belongings and everything is perfect. Not a thing damaged or broken! Would highly recommend and use again down the line.

New Zealander Cameron S. of Auckland and his London lads were superb. Organized, prompt, tireless, hardworking, switched-on and cheerful. There was no moaning or whinging like you get with many London movers. Dan in particular was like a SAS Army leader—cool, calm and collected as he orchestrated the belongings inside the house of my elderly and eccentric 80 year old aunt. He even took a door off its hinges to get the bed in. Kiwi movers are the ALL BLACKS of carrying heavy stuff and hauling it safely.

I got in touch with Kiwi Movers when the company I was initially booked with pulled out at the last minute. They were incredibly helpful and had me organised within one day! Can't recommend Kiwi Movers enough. After having a moving date arranged weeks in advance, our new building managers let us know the day before our move that we couldn't move in on weekends. I called Kiwi in a panic, and within 30 minutes they'd arranged a truck and crew for that afternoon. I would like to take the opportunity to recommend KiwiMovers. We had to move the contents of 2 storage units from North London to South Wales. The job was organised by Lewis Elbourn who also provided a competitive costing. There was no family member present at the storage unit but the job was competently completed, on time with no issues . Great clear communication from Lewis and his team . Very pleased with the job - highly recommend.

These guys recently cleared and moved to storage the contents of my daughter and son in law's flat in Wandsworth (they now live in Dubai). My wife and I were not altogether looking forward to it! The KM team were amazing - friendly, hard working, speedy and careful. The "jigsaw" they created to get all the stuff into the storage unit was a work of art (or engineering!). Just completed a move with Kiwi Movers - Matt was really excellent, very professional and thought through everything that needed to be moved. He was careful with the fragile boxes and equipment and took extra care in making sure walls/existing furniture wasn't damaged. He was a pleasure to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate in hiring Kiwi Movers for my next move and would recommend them highly to anyone.

Considerable damage to the majority of our wooden furniture. Gauges, scratches, dents. Our move was in two parts with furniture kept in their storage for 3 weeks. Other furniture came out filthy, covered in dust and debris. The movers themselves were on time and polite, but this is thousands of pounds worth of damage plus lost administration time to try and resolve it via insurance. Would not use again.

Best moving company I worked with so far and I have used quite a few over the years. Very friendly and professional both in the office and on the day of the move. They arrived on time, no hanging around, got straight to work. I had few pieces of furniture to move including big super king mattress. Stairs at both ends and the guys done it so well and quick. No damage anywhere. Definitely recommend!

Cameron and James were very friendly and professional. They got everything loaded and unloaded efficiently, and even managed to get a large headboard up a very narrow staircase with a low entryway. Would recommend their service which was also very good value considering the distance I was moving.

I've used Kiwi Movers to move house around London for a few years now. Each time they have provided an excellent service. The movers are hard working, efficient, and careful - I've had no issues with breakages or scuffs. They're always punctual and dealing with them is a pleasure.

Couldn't be more pleased with the service, very punctual, no item that needed moving was ever an issue and they were able to move all my plants without any getting damaged. They wrapped all my sofa cushions and mattress as well. Definitely recommend and will be using them again.
