On Feb 29, 2020, I was T-Boned while stopped at a Stop Sign by a careening "out of control" vehicle due to the driver having a seizure. The accident totalled my new SUV but thankfully, all 5 airbags went off or I might not be writing this today. I had many very visible injuries from the impact and while trying to heal up, had decided I would just handle this on my own with ICBC. As the months went by and I couldn’t get ICBC to even pay some medical costs like even my broken tooth, I came across the Klein Lawyers (online search) and I gave them a call. My bruising and swelling had healed up enough I wanted to start with physio and start functioning like a normal person again. I was not getting anywhere dealing with ICBC so hired Klein Lawyers. I was impressed from the “get go” with their professionalism and what they planned to do for me going forward. My case was assigned to Dmytro Shul, who got right on it, securing medical records, getting me payment for costs and getting physio and rehab going. Dmytro knew how ICBC works whereas I was just relying on them acting in good faith. My adjuster wasn’t even interested in talking to me. If I could set the clock back, knowing what I know now about this law firm, I would have engaged them soon after the accident. Maybe I was just super lucky to get Dmytro to look after things and settle my case although I have to admit all interactions I had with Klein Lawyers were positive, professional and helpful. I first contacted Klein after a car accident and found them to be incredibly professional from the first contact right up to my last email. I worked mostly with Paige G a paralegal who worked as my case manager. She was incredibly knowledgeable and very quick and professional in her responses. She answered all my emails in a very quick and friendly manner despite the millions of questions I had. I always felt informed and aware of all of my options. She was so great at her job and communicating that I never felt the need to actually talk to Keiron the lawyer in charge of my case. Every encounter with anyone from his firm was very personable and professional! I would highly recommend them in the future.

Called them for consultation regarding my recent accident claim with ICBC. They were unable to assist me with my claim which is fine but the lady on the phone told me that the recent legislation has made it impossible to sue ICBC for any claim related dispute. When I asked the question again to clarify, I was told again that I cannot take ICBC to court anymore. I had heard about the changes at the time but was seeking some more details and I took her word at face value since she works for a law firm. I am not sure what standard these phone consultation associates are held at but it is very dangerous to give out factually false legal information even if the client has not hired you to represent them.
