Customer service needs working on. I tried speaking to 3 different staff members asking for help on finding a product and each said "it's in that section. If you didn't see it on the shelf then it's out of stock". Not one staff member offered to help look with me, nor did they offer to check their stock computers. Eventually I found a staff member who would check the stock computer and they said the stock was low so it's most likely all gone. Again, I had to press the staff member to get someone from that section to help me. When that staff member came up she said the exact same thing. "if you had a look and couldn't see it, it's most likely not there". I asked her to help me because she works there and I don't and she was so reluctant to go over there and help me. Eventually she did and there were 5 hangers full of stock. At this kmart store there is no sense of wanting to help the customer. These staff members could not be more bothered.

Very bad customer service not even worth the 1 star at the Carrum Downs Kmart. I have had bad experience before but Alex and Suzanne at the self checkout have been the worst so far. They are too busy gossiping than to serve their customers. Lack of knowledge and decency I’m very surprised how they still have a job. No wonder more and more people like to go to a machine than to a check person. If you have to be served by people like Alex and Suzanne who are rude and unhelpful you would use a machine. Can’t voice how bad these two so called customer service help were. People like them give a bad name to customer serve reps. Hope less and uncaring human beings.

Kmart.... That is all. Ok for those cheap buys, reasonably stocked and clean. Staff are spotted around the store and hard to corner as you'd expect in this genre of store. Going downhill is the checkout experience, disastrous self-service machines rarely miss a chance to beep because of wrong item placed in bagging area. Battling with them is futile and to be avoided, give them a wide berth and keep someone in a job by going to the manned checkout (yay old fashioned service). Seeing the guy run around the counter to serve stirs a slight sadistic part inside me lol, they *really* don't want to service customers face to face...

Kmart is always a Favourite Store to visit & Browse through the Aisles for Bargains - anything Clearance or on Special.... Kmart is Cheaper than Others & you find Everything from fashion Clothes from baby ,toddlers ,teenagers & adult for boys & girls etc. Wearables to kitchen- Office - Toys - Furniture - Hardware store - pet Food & Supply and many more This Store in CARRUM DOWNS is very neat & Organised -- The Staff on the move all the time & very handy when you need assistance Service with a Smile & The Store is very neatly stacked - organised & Tidy !!!!.....

What a pleasure it is to pop in and shop here. Upon paying for my purchases the young male attendant assisted with absolute professionalism. I didn't get what I came in for as the product was sold out. All good, I continued on and found other products that I was wanting. Ample selection of men and women's clothingandaccessories. Toys, sporting and much more. Ample staff attending through out the store, very helpful and courteous. Ample parking throughout the shopping centres parking areas and easy access to Kmart via shopping centres entrances.

Went to my local K-Mart yesterday in Carrum Downs and was greeted at the front of the store by a really friendly young lady name of LIV she was full of info where things were and at the same time checking Customers as they left cheerfully and carefully looking at their dockets. So impressed was I that I just had to do this Post there are lots of upset and angry people about right now and if I can cheer one person up then I feel better about myself too. A lovely store with a wide variety of items available. Unfortunate that you had a security personnel follow us around the store in a very obvious way. Didn't appreciate being profiled. Obviously you have to prevent stealing but we were paying customers and were picked out due to race. Everyone else in the store was lovely. Layout of the store is a little confusing. Difficult to find some items.

Nice to have a Kmart here as previously if you want a Kmart or big W - you have to go to Frankston, karingal or cranbourne. The shopping centre it's in is pretty awful, but Kmart entrance isn't too far in from an entrance. Be prepared for an AWFUL car park and public toilet though (not Kmart's fault). This Kmart has a good variety of items and is fairly stock standard as far as Kmart goes.

You could tell there wasn't much staff on (due to covid I'm assuming) but the staff that was on were going above and beyond to keep the store going smoothly! Thank you to the staff on today without your help I couldn't have gotten the quad for my boys birthday! Which no other kmart had!! On the phone and in person the two ladies who helped me out today THANK YOU!!!!

The worker at layby, who I felt extremely sorry for, had all my 4 children with me, and a pram with 2 trolley fills, and needed to actually spread these over 3 different laybys, and not only was this girl helpful, but she was extremely kind and patient!! Even though the line was growing, I just wish I had her name to thank her and give her a special mention.

I like the new place for now, but there is a big land by Dandenong Frankston roadside around the new fire force brigade building area, there is so many landscape around that area, maybe future kmart will think about it , those areas is going to be a good business center in my own vision, I chose that area for future reference, thanks and God bless,

I went to order online and at checkout I was told Frankston had 11 out of 15 of my products..so I chose Frankston, then im told only 1 item will be sent on its own as they are coming from Werribee., and it's been possible that much of my order would be coming in bits. Now if I had known this I would of Orderd from else where my products were.

Fantastic really large store... but high stacks all over so you cannot see signs with departments on eg: men's; women's; child etc. gggrrrrrhhhh so for me being nearly 80 it's too much to keep walking round & not finding what you want , so I left before seeing all I wished to purchase The store was well stocked, tidy & clean …

Kmart has a big range at reasonable prices. This Kmart is pretty good with range and stock availability. Staff are pretty scarce but kinda friendly if you stop one to ask for help. Some areas like Toys not such a big range, your better off at Big W for those, but shoes are really good and ladies lingerie has good stuff for good prices.

Kmart Carrum Downs is a brilliant place to shop ,brilliant helpful Staff and a huge range of everything very convenient to home. Excellent prices overall with lots on sale. Never had a problem with epxchanges or credits All products are also hard wearing and they have a great range in current fashion and accessories Love Kmart.

The site was friendly and clean and well lit but they didn't have an item from the catalogue. A staff member told me they only trickle through the popular items and they are unlikely to have more before October. Not a great way to run things, advertise something cheaply to get you in but don't have it in store.

I'm guessing the lady at carrum downs click & collect at 5.40pm doesn't enjoy her job. Retail can be challenging at times but it shouldn't be too difficult to be polite, assistance without being rude was all I needed, as I had never used this service before. Very disappointed, usually a kmart happy customer.

I love this joint promised my son who is 4 years old a gift and went there he chose HULK.....okay good choice. I got him that on the way to checkout saw a white shoe and went close it was reduced from $15 to $8 ......wow a good deal....grabbed that and paid...and went home. Awesome Kmart

We had to return a couple of things and weren't sure how we'd go about it, since we have had to make a return in some years now. The first lady we spoke too was so nice and very helpful, and the lady at the returns desk was just as helpful. Made the whole experience very smooth, easy, simple and quick.

Disappointed. Trying to work out how to use and print a variety of photos at the kiosk. Because it was self serve getting help from the staff was sheer impossible. I was there for nearly 2 hours trying yo work things out. Next time I will go to office works. Where nothing is to much trouble.

Long opening hours until midnight means we can pop over at our whims and fancies, no stress easy to park as there’s lots of parking supply even close to Christmas period ie so convenient that we ended up spending more time browsing and ended up buying more than what is really needed!

Needed to exchange some items purchased at KMart Carrum Downs. Dreaded going to do it as they are notorious for bad customer service. To my surprise I was attended to by Serena at the Customer Service desk who was pleasant, helpful and exchanged the items immediately. Thanks Serena.

This lady (kmart staff) was chitchatting with a customer a she let us waited for few minutes before they ended their conversation and asked us how can she help us. Really? Check the camera store, we were there at around 1640 on 28/09/2021. Pls investigate this matter. Thanks.

Very disappointing service today the young lad that served me obviously didn't want to be working earning double time on a Sunday, he was so bored and hardly managed to be polite. These kids should appreciate the fact they have a good job and it's the customer that matters!

So tired of showing the contents of my bags at the door. It is less convenient having moved the registers to the centre of the shop, and insulting to be asked to show your reciept everytime you exit the shop. As if everyone is suspect for theft. Kmart, you used to be cool.

Always good service, bit of a pain to be ready to show your bags at the end, should have the registers at the exit of the store but otherwise good. Always get what's needed. Parking can be a pain because it's where everything is but prefer here than Frankston for sure.

Considering we don't have much to chose from in Carrum Downs, Kmart was a god send for me. No more having to go into Frankston or Karingal Hub for clothes. Before Kmart there really wasn't any choice. Love the late night hours love the layout, staff are quite helpful.

Good selection of cheap kids clothes and toys. They should start stocking more bluray films, the ones they have got are at a pretty good price. No frills all rounder general shop. The car park is shared with all the other shops and is not great but does the job.

Great service. I ordered click and collect and it was ready the next day. Pick up was smooth and seamless. I did get a but lost trying to figure out where to park but when I rang the number the lady was kind and waited on the phone until I found out where to go.

Awesome products always loce checking out Kmart..but a Weird layout...you need to hunt around for the cash registers Kmart this setup is aggravating. Id rather the registers at the door..then i dont need a receiot to prove im not theiving the produvts i buy.

Went to print photos. There are lot of faults in the system. You spend your time choosing pictures and go to the print desk to find out the order has not come to their main computer. Recently it happened to my friend too. When complain staff not nice.

Kmart is handy and this store is always tidy which is a credit to management and staff. My one bugbear is the amount of goods Kmart stock from our Northern neighbour and how poorly they perform. In the end I go to Kmart for convenience not quality.

Very well layed out store with plenty of options for you choice of product, the staff are great, very friendly and extremely helpful, with there money back guarantee I know I can shop with confidence incase an item may be faulty or the wrong size.

Just "LOVE" K mart it never ceases to amaze me the huge selection of products that are available... I know when I go to buy something I require I come home with lots more but how can you not with such Great Prices & Bargains.... …

Kmart in Carrum Downs is really great; super easy to get a park and the store is often very quiet, so it's a nice place to shop. It also feels quite big and nicely laid out; I have never had too much trouble finding the things I need.

I visited this kmart branch as my local didn't have all the stock of the order, the layout is open and clean, friendly door greet team member. Nice and bright and plenty of floor space to move above, I would be happy browsing here.

Great store can be hard to find help if your looking for something but great customer service. The guys on the doors that check your bag are very friendly and always welcome on entry and all have a wonderful goodbye as i leave.

Seems to have a large variety of stuff in store. I find staff helpful and you can actually find them on the floor compared to other Kmarts i have been to on the past. Thank you Carrum Downs Kmart...keep up the great service.

Love this shop it's so easy to navigate, the girl I always see on the door bag check is terrific and so friendly, actually makes leaving enjoyable haha the staff have always been really helpful and available when needed too.

Another retailer that expects you, the customer, to serve yourself. Only 1 maned checkout at the other end of the self serve area. Poor effort, where are our juniors going to get work to put themselves through school?

Brad the manager could not have been more helpful, going that extra mile after I lost my receipt. His confidence as a manager and reassurance that all warranties would be honoured, put my worries to rest immediately.

Its Kmart. I didnt need anything but went in the store anyway and found $63 worth of of stuff that I never knew I always needed. I also found a dead bird on the carpark, so please be careful for the little children.

Dont like the way you have to stop at the door and have your bag checked just because they make you pay in the middle of the store. There has to be a better way. If i didnt have to do that i would have given 5 stars

Excellent service from staff, I was looking for an item and it was unavailable in that store, so one of the staff checked all stores in the area to help me find my item. Very helpful, will shop here again for sure!

Bad customer service. I called this kmart to check if an item was available and they didn’t pick up at all! I waited 10-15 minutes with no response. This happened multiple times when I called this particular kmart.

I love shopping at K-mart. They always have some kind of specials every week. I wouldn't say that it's expensive to shop there, don't forget that they do have a Lay-buy section. Personally, i love going to K-mart.

It's a Kmart so if you have ever been to one you have pretty much been here. Sometimes can be fairly light on staff wise but usually is a pretty good shopping g experience and never seems to get too busy

I was very impressed with the service from the young girl in the fitting rooms last weekend, her name was Elly she was very helpful and her smile was a sure indication she loves her job. 5 stars from me.

Good staff, friendly and helpful. Only fault with this store is the range of stock is very limited compared with say Bayside or Fountain Gate. Uniform items - forget it! Local colours aren't stocked.

Not enough selection of mens clothes and far too much of the shop dedicated to womens. Audio and electronics stuff I find to be pretty poor quality but okay to use in a pinch for the price of it.

They have a different price on the shelf and charge you different when you pay ...it happened to two item out of about six that I bought so not good enough they should do their job properly....

Love to shop here find everything I need, the best help ever you could ever get in there is from the girls who check you in at the main doors they are awesome know where everything is situated.

Nice clean store,the only downside is the fact theres rarely anyone on a register anymore, it's mostly self serve. Staff are helpful if you can't find something that you went in looking for .

I miss the Kmart of yesteryear, but as far as the modern incarnation is concerned, this is a good store with a good range and very nice team members to assist you. Easy parking as well.

horrific. blood everywhere, dirt, fly larvae, ect. banshee flying over aisles screaming, made me drop my can of tuna & rolled under the shelf. could not retrieve can as arms too short

The 2 staff members I spoke to were really helpful polite and friendly 1was a girl who was out the front greeting people as you walked in the other 1was a girl in the lay bys section.

Ive been to alot of kmarts in my time this one has to be the cleanest, well looked after and stocked store around. Customer service is good found everything i was after.

I love coming here to shop for lollies. It's so organised and well presented. At the front of the store is also a machine for rating how your shop was before you leave.

A large store and easy to navigate around and competitive pricing too. Always looking for bargains. Recommended the bamboo mattress topper protector. Comfy as for 35$.

I have been coming since this store since opening, I've never seen the cash registers staffed, staff is minimal, and the checkouts are in the centre of the store.

Some items are hard to find and not in a logical spot. Eventually find out our have to line up and/or find someone to ask. Otherwise, it is pretty good …

When trying to pay at self service register needed help. 3 chicky babe's too busy chatting and on phone and ignored by man on register. Most disappointing.

I love kMart but my bank balance doesn't. I wish you had afterpay or similar. I truly missed going in-store for shopping, it's not the same on line.

Prices are good, lay-by is good, stock is good. I am able to find products here for a third of the price I would anywhere else.
