I purchased a desk and a sofa and both items were damaged when delivered. The desk is damaged in several places including scratches across all edges (e.g., the front side of the desk end to end), the inside of the right drawer is chipped. For sofa they said we can repair it! When we asked for a replacement they said because this item is discontinued we cannot do that. I went to the store and saw the desk and sofa, and asked the shop assistant if they have any stock available and they confirmed yes and if I buy today I can get that within 3 days! Then I told them about customer services comment and they said oh no this item is discontinued and I need to call the warehouse to see if we have any stock! I was shocked and asked them but you just told me I can get a new one within 3 days!!! They said we cannot sell the desk to you go fix the issue with client services! It is really disappointing when I spoke about this issue with my friend they mentioned they had similar experiences. It seems they are selling damaged item as new and leave you with no choose

During the month I used it, I always felt a sore lower back. I even went to take an X-ray and saw a doctor because of it. I don’t know why it happened. Until one day, When I went to their store, I found out that the sofa they delivered had four legs, which was completely different from my home's sofa. Because my sofa had no legs, it was positioned very low, which caused my lower back pain. Later, I contacted their company, but they didn't apologize, didn't think they did anything wrong, and even emailed me to ask why I didn't tell them earlier. This was entirely the fault of this company. It was the worst service imaginable, and so far, they haven't helped me solve this problem.

I purchased a dining table and five chairs, they were delivered to me about a month ago. The driver who assembled them couldn't fix two chairs as their legs in one side are shorter than other side and they can not be fixed due to having shorter length. I sent an email to koala team several times to follow up this problem but they didn't respond to me. Once, Malfie sent an instruction to me to fix it by myself and offered me $50 credit instead of two chairs with short legs. It's ridiculous, even their driver could not fix the legs of chairs but they asked me to fix it and offered me $50 to not speak about that anymore. I called koala every day to fix this problem, they just say, they will send my inquiry to their supervisor and once Jill hang up the phone while I was talking to him. This was my first and the last purchase from Koala living and if time went back, I would never buy from them. I don't recommend this brand at all as when the purchase is made, they don't care about customers anymore. Even they don't answer emails.

Beware of these fraudsters !!! We placed order for 3 seater sofas for $3000 from Koala Living and on getting home realised the size is bigger than area that we have...So called Koala Living immediately to cancel the order but to my suprise the person on the phone tells me its their policy they cant refund the money and can issue a credit note only...Such a policy was never shown, communicated or explained to us before placing the oder hence this is completely against Australian consumer law...While i am still awaiting my refund i would like to make people realise what they are getting into and to beware of buying from these guys as these guys are fraudsters and will make the overall experience horrible instead of making it a pleasure....will never step into their stores again. They offer free membership & discount to people who post positive reviews hence only reason for the other positive reviews otherwise i bet there is lots of unhappy customers like me there...

We had been to Koala living store in Nunawading not once but multiple times and did a lot of purchases. Having moved from London, we planned to purchase all our essential furniture items from Koala and the whole credit goes to one employee at the store 'Tiana'. We have been to different branches but always ended up going back to Nunawading because of the way we were treated and dealt with. Tiana is extremely warm and approachable young lady who is willing to go out of the way to help her customers. She called us to notify us of any changes and regarding progress of our order. It's been 6 months since our purchase and the review took so long as I had delivered a baby and all my energy goes with her. But, Tiana this is especially a review for you and Koala as an employer is extremely lucky to have you as an employee. You set extremely good example for hospitality industry. All the best and it was great to be able to connect with you.

Absolutely horrible. I ordered a large watch from Koala living and got it. It came faulty and the time didn’t work at all. I emailed the customer service department only to receive an email saying “no refund, no exchange , no returns” policy on clearance items and that i should have “inspected “ it before receiving it. I obviously inspected the one on display at koala but that has nothing to do with them item because im gonna get another one in a box anyway not the display item. I still think I should get a replacement as it’s a $300 watch. I then called koalas living and a guy name Ceejay answered the phone , he was even worse. He did absolutely nothing and I explained my situation, he said we should have known we weren’t going to get a brand new product? why would I have paid that much money for a second hand faulty product? he said there was no Guarantees for a replacement. After all of this I think I should get a replacement.

Koala still remains the worst company I have ever dealt with. Disregarding exaggerated claims about 8 reviews, and their poor understanding of the term "discontinued" which shouldn't include items that someone can physically hold in their warehouse, they also like to leave out key facts such as delivery arrangements that were made, and confirmed by Koala, rather than were "attempted to be made", and whilst it was their error to not transfer initially they didn't own that and it became my problem who stupidly wanted the item. Whilst Koala may think a 1 star review is unhelpful, it certainly helps inform would-be customers who might make the same mistake of shopping with the company. But hey, apparently receiving a full refund makes the whole experience positive?

We found the furniture was not only desirable but also great quality at reasonable prices. The service was great and the company is very honourable when it comes to customer service. There was a misunderstanding with regards to a delivery not being received but thanks to the lovely salesman Mehti in the Nunawading Store it was quickly cleared up with the management backing us with our word and honourably provided us with the item that was not delivered although their records showed that it had already been collected! We appreciate that Koala Living choose to back their customers when it comes to trust they are honourable and reliable! We would not hesitate in recommending Koala Living to our friends!

These guys are crooks stay away from buying anything from Koala living...I purchased brand new Sofa's from them for $3500 and they delivered a damaged sofa at my place with a broken leg...their installers told me they will replace it immediately and even weeks and multiple phone calls they say email us and on email all they say is we will get back to you. Have not seen such kind of ridiculous customer service in Australia...They only care about taking money and deliver damaged good and then you are at their mercy and no response after that...This company should be banned operating in Australia as they only take customers at ransom...by charging premium and supplying damaged products.

STAY AWAY: Horrible delivery, quality & Service From product delivery to resolving damaged item complaint, Koala Living has disappointed at every single step. Bought Dynasty desk last year which was deliver 6 months (I kid you not !!!!) late, which now is collapsing on one side now. Its been 4 weeks since complaint was lodged and so far they have failed to even provide date for technician's visit. Multiple times I have highlighted risk of injury if desk collapses which is clearly ignored by them. Consider Koala only if you have time and money to waste.

Terrible dreadful customer service, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. You are being warned. We are having the worst customer experience ever. Bought a bed came with wrong part, sent the technician team here still couldn't install the bed after 10 days. I have sent 3 emails to it's customer service team to inform them what they need to bring to fix the problem, they ignored them all!!! Please avoid this brand at all cost!! They won't honer refund, when things happen they just dodge you. I wish it had 0 rating.

My family & I went in yesterday and out of two employees, not one could greet or assist us - they continued in chatting & laughing while we were wanting to purchase 2 x 5,000 couches. I ended up telling my family to leave as I would not be making such a purchase when an employee makes eye contact yet won't leave from a customer she isn't even serving in the first place. Considering the prices, you would think better customer service would be included.

I am extremely disappointed with the product I received. I purchased the attached wall art, and paid a professional to hang them on the wall, but the Leilani Black and Gold Paper Shadow Box painting fell off the wall the second day. The reason was the poor frame. It was broken by the side frame screws. I have paid a professional to hang them and to repair the damage to the floor. Such a poor quality!! Never going to buy anything from here in future.

Never ever do online orders from Koala living. I've been waiting for more than one month after placing an order for a mirror and a wall art. This star is for customer service provided by Amanda in customer care for her assistant in chasing my lost order in the delivery process. But I'm still left without items delivered to me :( I have lodged a complaint with ACCC

Our furniture arrived too late, 3 months later than the date they were supposed to be deliver and when they arrived, they had factory problem. Also lots of scratches they changed each one for 7 weeks, but still had problem. We forced to go to the store and they gave us the display chairs, and unfortunately this also happened to our bed.

The furniture is ok, nothing to complain about. BUT the service was horrible that I can literally write a whole essay to demonstrate what they did wrong and what they should do to keep their customers. I am not going to waste any more time on them. Conclusion : I will never buy anything from them again. (Still waiting for my refund…)

This store has a great selection of modern furniture and fantastic little accessories that make it impossible to walk past without stopping. The lovely team of people at the Nunawading store were happy to help and made us feel welcome. We had a great time shopping there. Looking forward to shopping there again soon.

The best place to buy furniture and decorate items for my house. Tuyen, the seller, is very good. We just wanted to buy a wall picture but after her advice, we bought dining table with chairs and 1 more picture. We bought a 3 seater sofa and less than a year it started to get deformed and the fabric started to pill. Contacted the customer service and the answer was , it's a normal situation when you seat too much on a sofa. Very low quality and horrible warranty.

We have purchased 9 tessellated mirrors from Nunawading store. The hook alignments are different in each mirror, making it impossible to hang as displayed in the showroom. Low quality product.
