This has been an amazing experience for me! I had literally been calling CPAs for 2 days straight and could barely get in contact with anyone! And when I did, they weren’t too helpful. Tricia however, answered on the first ring and not only did she go out of her way to help me get the correct statements I needed for my apartment but she invited me to the office and took the time to educate me about why it’s important to pay attention to your books and financials. They are making my life so much easier already. I would recommend Kohari & Gonzalez to everyone!

They forgot to file my 2018 taxes even though I submitted them 2 months early and corresponded regularly. I knew I would be getting a refund. I only found out that they hadn't filed my taxes when tax day came and went and I never heard from them. When I called they had forgotten to file and had to file late. I never received an electronic copy of my taxes in spite of leaving phone and email messages. This happened again when I asked for my 2018 electronic copy of taxes for my new accountant. Nice people but completely unreliable and therefor unprofessional.

My wife and I used to do our own taxes. Then, we went to KG as they came highly recommended. We were not disappointed. Had we filed ourselves, there is so much we would have missed that Sara knew to ask about and Turbo Tax never has! Additionally, Sara immediately answered my inquiries off the top of her head about specific areas that I wanted to adjust and about which I wanted to take a closer look. They are professional, knowledgeable, and diligent in both winning and keeping our business. Do yourself a favor and call them today to set up an appointment!

The initial services were very good. And I really loved working with them But in a few months the customer service began to decline. We couldn't get returned phone calls, items requested were late, we always got conflicting information, and finally out of a notice our services would be discontined. No explanation. The most disappointing experience was that you can never get a straight answer. One person would tell us one thing and someone else another. They either had more business then they could handle, or my business wasn't big enough.

I wish I could write a better review. I've been doing business with Brown Jenkins Oneyear (Now KOHARI & GONZALEZ, PLLC) for over 8 years. After the acquisition both my corporate and personal taxes were late, filed late, even though they were delivered on time per their own date deadlines. They filed extensions without notifying us. On multiple occasions they have not returned critical business calls. I strongly advise a careful evaluation before engaging this company. Again, I wish I could leave a glowing review but I honestly can't.

Sara and Tawney are extremely responsive. I had an upfront and honest consultation where we reviewed details of my situation and was given an estimate of cost. We worked through the details of my paperwork, including the sale of a house, a couple different W2s, different states, etc that makes taxes a bit more complicated. Sara handled everything with ease and very, very quickly. They took the stress of filing taxes completely off my shoulders and I highly recommend this firm!

I have the very same similar experience from the other two 1 and 2 star comments. I actually just discontinued my service with them today after a back and forth of an unproductive 3 weeks to start a LLC. Very nice people but not as professional as they seem or claim to be. Would not recommend them for your business but if you do choose definitely do not pay in full up front until the work you request is completed.

Since that time K&G has been the only CPA firm we've used for our personal and business tax preparation and we've been extremely happy with their services.
