This review is for the pickup service at this particular store. Recently my wife was with me and decided she wanted to try a few things from the store, they didn't have the three items in her size...so when we got home later she decided to order online but opted for the store pickup because we were going away on the following weekend. After 5 days or so she got a notification that the items were in the store via email. The following day after work and dinner we drive to the store...after handing the lady her items receipt the lady disappeared into the back room 20 minutes later another guy tells us she is still looking for the items ..after another ten minutes the guy approaches us and says he's sorry but they cant find any of the items and that if we'd like to wait hell send someone around the store to see what items they have in stock...he made sure to mentioned he had no idea if they had 1-2-3 or none of the items in stock and that it was a particularly busy week for them....hum we were just there a week ago and they didn't have the items in stock so...I made a point to let him know that this experience was becoming very unpleasant and that the store traffic wasn't our problem...I mean give me a break why have a pickup if the items arent there to be picked up. Wasted a lot of time with this!!!!!!!

I went to Kohl's last night 12/21/22 to buy some last minute presents. I've been struggling financially and have been overwhelmed and stressed out trying to buy presents for my kids, as I'm sure everyone is. But yesterday I was in a bad mindset and my card had gotten declined, which was the last straw of my emotional state and it caused me to burst out in tears while trying to pay for my order. The cashier I had was so kind to me and showed real compassion for my mental state. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name and can't find it on the receipt. But I hope she sees this. She didn't have to stop and take the time to show me kindness, especially with a line wrapped around the store. But she did. And it really meant everything to me. Sometimes we forget that showing kindness is a free gift to people during the Holidays and she was the right person for me at the time I needed it the most. I'll never forget that moment of kindness from her and I hope she sees this and knows how thankful I am. Merry Christmas ❤️

It’s a terrible place to work. The environment is very toxic, management loves to talk down on their employees or talk about them behind their backs. They don’t go by the hours you give them, you’re overworked and treated very terribly. There’s no room for mistakes they will fire you over the littlest thing. The associates are very nice but the management is not their store manager has not a clue as to how to run a store. If you’re not one of their favorites then you get no hours and then constantly pick on you. If you’re a POS worker and you don’t get credit they punish you by not giving you hours or moving you to a different part of the store. If they can’t use you to their advantage then you’re disposable to them. They don’t care about your school hours or what you have going on at home. They expect you to be dedicated to them and them only. I hated everything about working here and i do not recommend anyone to work here.

Low class cashier and liar head cashier! My wife and myself we feel insulted by the cashier and the head cashier. I had $10 coupon on my email, $45 from my last purchase on 05/29/2023, and $10 in my rewards balance. Both the cashier and head cashier were very rude to us, the cashier denied the coupon on my email and at my many many requests she finally scanned the bar code and it worked. The cashier looked very bored and disgusted from me politely trying to receive my rewards. The head cashier miss informed me that the $45 are not rewards and it’s a refund that will go back to the credit card used in the purchase ( totally b.s.). Finally, I received my rewards, paid $105.61 and the cashier pushed my 5 items to my hand. She didn’t even offer us a bag that we’d gladly pay for. We left the store very much disappointed and feeling insulted. We’ll NEVER buy from KOHL’s again.

I'm relatively new to Kohl's, but I Love It! For a few reasons: 1) It's super hard in cov!d era to find public restroom. Kohl's is where I go when I have to go (provided of course there's one close by). 2) The Kohl's cash and coupons really allow you to rack up savings. Plus, if you return Amazon package there you get a coupon, 20 or 30% off order I think. A lady gave me her Amazon return coupon and it shaved $7 off my purchase! 3) The clearance sales are really good. I've found some solid gems by just taking my time scouring through racks: Millennium Falcon long sleeve tee; Marc Anthony khaki pants that originally cost $60 for $9, a sheik gray dress BLAZER for $18... Basically, after losing about 50 lbs, I've been using Kohl's clearance rack to update my wardrobe. (The shirt and pants in photo are also from Kohl's clearance rack.)

I hadn't been there for awhile and my gf wanted to go the other day and I have to say I am really disappointed with how the store was overall (cleanliness, service) but even more importantly their lack of sales and inconsistency in pricing. There was a halfway decent sale on Levi's but it was impossible to find a size because the jeans were all mixed together (this was at 1130am) it clearly wasn't reorganized the night before. There was also no real sale as far as kitchenware went (which used to be their wheelhouse). I did however find a good sale on socks and when I took it to the register the lady goes they clearly aren't on sale you must have gotten them from the wrong pile. No bother checking or anything. I didn't buy them. I was going to give this a 3 star rating but as I write this I got angry again . 2 stars it is!

It is so much easier to shop when items have prices on them. That's one reason I came home without a coffee maker. And just ignore the size on the hanger. It is rare that it matches the size of the garment. Ignore also the size sections, where all of one size is supposed to be. Not even close. Finally, overfilling clothing racks just makes it harder to find anything. Oh, and when you employees put things on hangers, consider doing it in a way that the size of the item can be seen. That just might help customers and make your life easier since items won't have to be taken off the hangers to find the size. I'm sure there were many bargains to be found but it's just such a mess and so time consuming. Easily enough fixed. We will see if the folks at Kohls think it's a worthwhile effort.

Ignored by everyone. You would think it was a store going out of business and nobody cared from top to bottom. I did see young cashiers trying to do a good job and accomplishing it. The older people(over 30) thought that was the place to walk or sit. The lady taking Amazon refunds sat in a chair and look at people like they were bothering her. Don't make a joke, she'll think you are asking her to lunch but still would look at you like you owe her money and forgot to pay. Depressing! It's been two years since I 've been in this place and I won't be going back ever. Still like in any retail operation that does not produce, the rotten fruit comes from the top down.

Editing this review a couple months later and the store has definitely improved. Firstly its clean and BRIGHT everywhere. The store looks great, temperature is good and the sephora finally has knowledgeable and kind workers. Its beautiful seeing the SEPH letters from outside the store, definitely catches more attention than the previous jewelry counters. They have tidied up their sportswear and juniors area, in terms of variety I can see why they decided to hold less items, it makes a clear difference in the store and how well kept it is these days. Would recommend shopping here especially if you have a coupon :)

Kohls has changed its merchandise over the past decade. There's no more jewelry, I actually brought my wife's engagement ring from here many years back. It's still as beautiful as the first day I proposed. It's a shame no one else will get that opportunity in the store any longer. I REALLY wish they did a better job on making a full department for men over 2xl. A few racks of ugly garments that we (big and tall men) will NOT purchase, doesn't make sense for either party. which is the main reason why I don't spend a lot of money when im shopping here. Kohl's just does not have anything I would need personally.

Horrible customer service. I went to exchange an item today and had the worst experience of my life at this store. After waiting on a long line and waiting my time the customer service representative said I’m only processing the refund and then you can go wait on the other long line to check out. I tried to get checked out right then and there and the cashier refused. Definitely won’t be going back. Beware where you spend your money. If they can’t hire people that has customer service experience don’t go.

I want to commend the store. I wanted an item which was on display, last one available, size Large. I was told to give customer service my name and number, and they would call me Monday. I received a call today (Monday) as promised, and the shorts were in customer service for me to purchase. I was so pleased, I couldn’t believe how professional and organized the process was. Every visit to Kohl's Staten Island is pleasant. I had to let it be known, that I LOVE IT! Have a blessed one and happy new year.

I had a dreadful experience at Khols. The men's bathroom was abhorrent and unsanitary, all the toilets were obstructed with fecal matter and there was no hand soap. It was a health menace and I felt nauseated after using it. The store checkout line was interminable and sluggish, and I squandered a lot of time waiting to pay. It was arduous to find someone to assist me with my shopping trip. They didn’t seem to care about the customers or the store. I was very disenchanted and exasperated with Khols.

Customer service doesn’t know manners or curtesy, management was very abrupt and rude as well neither taking no time to answer questions. They were antagonistic and want nothing of their job that entails listening to or assisting the customer. I speak with manners very politely , just seek understanding that they seem unable to give nothing positive and no answers. Genuine disappointment. I understand why I order online after visiting this store. After this visit, I have hesitation with that now.

I had make a return 2 weeks and realized when I got home I left a shirt for a return in a box that I had return. So I call the store and tried to explain the story and one person then the second person to the third then finally the 4th person and by this time I was not too happy she told me to come in with a receipt. And THANK GOD for the supervisor his name is Anthony I explain what had happened and explained how it took 4 ppl and in 5 seconds was able to help me out praise the lord!!!!!!

Horrible exchange policy my total was $117 kohls only wants to credit me $68 which is ridiculous my items were a gift from someone so I don't have a receipt but the item were purchased with a kohls credit card ! I'm left with all the stuff that I can't even use! The girl at the return desk shoved her shoulders like oh well and when I asked her to call a manager she simply called the person that was standing next to her and she wasn't even a manager sadly

I like this place. Friendly workers and big parking lot they share with Lowes. Most of the times I go there for Amazon's returns. With Amazon return you get $5 cash coupon to use in the store... Smart idea UPDATE: Today I noticed some unreal increase in prices!!! For example, 4 pack of Hanes undershirts for $40!!! I won't be surprised if Kohl's goes bankrupt or at least laying off employees and closing some of its stores...

The store is well stocked and large. Spent alot of time browsing and buying. Love the choices and holiday stuff they had stocked. The only problem I have is that the New York stores (I mean all of them not just Kohls) are a mess. Where the t shirts or things of that nature are, people don't refold or even keep things in order. No matter how much the clerks try to keep things in order, the people just don't care.

The store was busy and heading in to peak hours but neatly organized, walkways were clear, the aisles and sections were well organized and there were a lot of friendly staff around to help/assist with questions. The door greeter is always super friendly and helpful. The cashiers were sanitizing and practicing safe COVID-19 procedures. Our cashier was efficient, friendly and explained everything step by step.

Everyone must wear masks, staff and guests. There is hand sanitizer throughout the store. The store has a lot of departments. They have an Amazon return location there and I received a 25% off Kohl's coupon after my return so I went back a few days later and pretty much everything was buy one, get one 1/2 off. Some of the stuff is pricey and it didn't really make sense to buy 2 just to get 1/2 off 1.

But really made my experience great was the young gentleman at the cashier made me aware of several ways I could save extra money that was awesome!! What I didn't like was that is nobody there to help you to tell you about products such as a FoodSaver vacuum sealing machine I didn't know anything about them and nobody care to explain to me what machine to buy what bags to buy that was disappointing

Most horrible customer service ever. NIKKI in the Sephora at kohl's was the worst person anyone can go to. She has the most disgusting and sarcastic remarks ever. I will be complaining to HR because I can't even sleep at night knowing the way she talked to me, I felt as I wasn't even a human. MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. I'd rather stick to the Sephora in the mall.

Most of the staff was polite & helpful. The cashier was extremely nice. However the lady who was working on sorting the put backs in the women's dressing room was nasty. She kept complaining about everyone leaving things on the tack for her. She was even cursing about it. It made me very uncomfortable because I had quite a lot to try on since my clothing size changed.

The shoe department is a mess, as it has been the last 3 times I was here. I give up! If you find a shoe that you like on display, you certainly wont be able to find it in your size down below because of the disarray! It looks like someone let their toddler rearrange the shoes! On the positive side, they always have enough cashiers and you never have to wait long.

I went to this place around 9pm and I want to return some clothes for my 1 year old daughter..the lady acted so rude and unwelcoming . I couldn't get her name.. I think she was indian.. she told me to donate the clothes.. i guess she needed those clothes as donation. I will think twice before going there..this was my favorite store..and not going back anymore..

Despite being less than a day after Black Friday, Kohl's was neat, clean and organized. The staff was so kind and courteous. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant and relaxing shopping experience. As if that weren't enough, the prices were excellent and the selection was too. I made it a point to tell this to the Store Manager, as well. Nicely done!

Great prices and selection in clothing and bedding. They have a large selection of home goods and travel luggage. It's actually the street from Lowe's so they share a huge parking lot. Conveniently located near that, many fast food restaurants, Harbor Freight Tools, Stadium 16 movie theater, dollar store and laundrymat. You could make a day of it.

Great place to shop when you have a 30% off coupon and things are on clearance otherwise way overpriced. Oh and the overhead announcements/ advertising is very annoying when they do it in Spanish. We need to all learn how to speak and understand English if not every store should not only make announcements in Spanish but every other language.

Love the woman at the jewelry counter she is a doll, and very knowledgeable will be back again ...she went above and beyond to help me and another customer shop in a whole other dept. (Nonna had her helping make pocketbook purchases and wanted her to be her personal shopper) and she handled her with such care I loved the experience

Kohl's was very busy today. But they have the best system for checking out and returning items. Very smooth very quick no matter how long the line is it moves right away. They had excellent sales and now that they are doing Amazon returns they give you a 25% off if you shop there in the following week so it's absolutely excellent

Yea…so Kohls no longer has price checkers because they’re too cheap to maintain them. They want customers to download the kohls app in order to scan a price. This is one more way corporations are shooting themselves in the foot by making the in-store experience less pleasant, Inconvenient, frustrating. Bring back price checkers!

Great place to shop, close to the highway close to other chain stores, large parking great handicap parking also,and they accept returns for Amazon packages just print out your return receipt and let them scan it and that's it. But you must have it in a box they will print a label for you. Remember that you must distance safely.

I was in a hurry and had to make a quick purchase. I was able to find the men's section and an associate to point me in the right direction. I was able to get an outfit, and the lines were not bad and moving along. The register lady was kind and courteous. Parking was abundant. Prices on some men's items were a bit steep.

I would like to say few words about cashier Myrtie Adjodha .This woman is the nicest person in the world.I never meat before such helpful person.She solved all my problem with credit card being on phone for me for over an hour ,explain everything and help to get a discount.Im so happy there is still people like she is.

I like this store. To me, it's styled after a traditional department store but on a smaller scale. Clothes aren't bad, similar to Target (?), But wait for sales which are frequent. This Kohl's accepts Amazon returns as well. It's fast and easy and a great convenience. I'm typically done with a return within 5 minutes.

I know the pandemic has hurt a lot of businesses but I used to be able to run in Kohl's for a quick last minute outfit. Nice clean Place gentleman at the door treats people very nicely with respect treats them with respect also going in and coming out I would definitely recommend it just not comfortable with the long lines it should be able to go to a cashier not waiting in line to say go to the next.

Kohls is pretty good. I like how they give you a 25% off coupon if you return an Amazon purchase there, but watch out because you won't be able to buy certain items (brands like Lego) with that coupon. They also sent me some Kohls cash but it expired before I was able to use it.

Compared to many other Kohl’s outlets in NY, this has comparatively less items. Especially when it comes to shoes for men. Some items are priced high but could be bought at less if you visit Macy’s. Workers are full of attitude. They don’t like to be bothered with questions.

Went to pick up a few pair of pants for work. The prices are artificially inflated , If it wasn't for the 20 % off and the 20 dollars kohls cash it would have been very expensive.

Great place for shopping. Reasonable prices, always clean, can always find parking, theres amazon drop off ,lines move fast. Sephora inside.

I love that I can return my Amazon packages there. The clothes are not attractive to me.I miss the jewelry section. Don't care for Sephora.
