(Also cross-posted this well-deserved review on Yelp ) I stepped foot into this store for the first time tonight and was sad to see another location not open 24 hours anymore, but that seems to be the trend in this part of town. No biggie. Aside that, in my scramble to get my groceries to the checkout I was long past the 1:00 AM mark and unable to check out, BUT the stocking staff (Miss Zai) and night manager (Dennis) were the most helpful and charming people I have ever dealt with at a grocery store overnight. Dennis offered to keep my cart so I can retrieve it in the morning when they open at 6 AM which works perfectly fine for me and my schedule and I could’ve yapped sweet Miss Zai her entire shift! This is a Monday night and the store was shockingly stocked VERY well. Tonight seems like it was a “truck night” because they were stocking the shelves even more in the non-perishable grocery area. This is honestly the cleanest, well mapped out store I have been in and as much as I've been spoiled by Instacart and other delivery services, I have no qualms about doing my own shopping here at this particular location because of this delightful first impression everyone made today. Edit: I visited this store earlier today as a brand new pharmacy customer through the drive-through to arrange med transfers, etc. Generally this type of pharmacy interaction makes me want to have a stroke anywhere else, however, THAT experience was equally as delightful as my late night, in-store experience. The guy that rung up my prescription not only gave me a cheaper price than GOODRX/Walmart has ever given for my controlled medication, he was able to somehow magically knock off an extra couple bucks which is especially valuable during these economically challenging times. BTW- out of 5 major pharmacies in the area, this is the only pharmacy that had my very common controlled medication in stock for a dang good price. Prior to my pick up I had made two phone calls to the pharmacy and was never left on eternity hold and never longer than 30 seconds before a helpful human that I could clearly understand picked up. Friggin awesome service! Side Note: Keller has the nicest people I have ever met in public places. After nearly 2 years living here I have never had one negative experience in this town compared to where I moved from (ahem..Mansfield )
I tried clicklist for the second time tonight. The first time it took a long time to get the order out to my car but I wanted to give them a second chance. This time went even worse, when I pulled up and called and gave them my name they said I must have the wrong Kroger. I pulled up my order and I was at the correct Kroger so I called again and they said they couldn’t find my order in the system with my name or with my order number so we even tried my maiden name but nothing, they said they’d figure it out and get the order out to my car. No one came, and I waited and waited and watched them delivery another persons order and the girl came to my car and said if I ordered again I could get it tomorrow and they “shouldn’t charge my card.” I then called the store and asked for a manager, she found my order easily with my name then finally someone finally brought my grocery’s out and said “guess there was a mix up.” No apology for their mistake or anything. I was there over 40 minutes, I wish I would of just shopped it literally took longer for their clicklist!!
I initially tried this location out using Clicklist because I did not have time to frolic the aisles. On my most recent trip, I carved out an hour to gander. Using the kroger ap as my guide, because let’s face it an hour isn’t nearly long enough to grab all the necessary things without direction on where it actually is, I looked like a professional! Well, not quite. But I at least knew which aisle contained my precious items and didn’t need to ask for help. That being said, while I didn’t ask for it, a friendly employee stopped stocking the chips long enough to ask if I needed help. I can only imagine the puzzled look on my face to warrant assistance because actually I was confused. Why weren’t the variety packs on the same aisle as the normal chips? No matter, it was just on the other side and the gentleman sweetly showed me, no harm done. I found everything on my list and shelves stocked, mostly. There were only two checkout lines open but I decided I was NOT going to be impatient. Line moved pretty fast considering how many people were in it, easy peasy!
Worst online shopping experience ever! My timeslot was 7-8 PM. After waiting 45 minutes and calling twice, I was finally told to go home and that they will call me within the hour to let me know when my groceries will be ready. I didn’t hear after an hour and a half, so I called them and they said it would be another hour. An hour later, they still had not called, so I called them again and they said they were just about done to come on over. Then sat in the parking lot for another 30 to 45 minutes waiting for them to bring it out. They finally brought the groceries out at 11:30 PM. I did not receive 2/3 of my order - I was told they were out of stock. I do not believe there was an attempt at all to substitute as I find it hard to believe they did not have ingredients such as bacon. I asked for a callback on my survey that night, and to date have never received one. They clearly do not care about the customer, and we will not be shopping there anymore.
I'm not really sure why still shop at this store. Maybe it's because the closest grocery store to my house, but I think this might be my last visit. Maybe one time, have I had a decent experience their. Management is rude... Today they were having a staff meeting right in the middle of a walkway and acted like they were inconvenienced with customers walking by. There's rarely a lane open, ever...I don't use self-checkout because there's a markup on groceries for staff and people need jobs....I might as well be at Walmart. Geez. I tried store pick up once...never again. I told them it was fime to put soft drinks and beer only in the bed of the truck and when I got home, my BREAD and other items were rolling around...see the picture below...And, there were 2 people..one was a 40+ year old woman who I told that to. They need to get it together in a big way. I miss the Kroger in Euless...not all Krogers are created equal. Management's fault all day long!
This location is a very local store considering it is seconds away from residents and seems to be very strategically placed. It has everything you'll need for a grocery store including staying open until 1am. Although it lacks some of the features that other Signature Kroger locations have, it serves its purpose of providing groceries and other items in a very comfortable environment. Not overly crowded on most days (Saturday and Sunday seem to be busiest days along with after work). My only cons on this place is that they seem to run out of stock often when the crowds swarm in. It seems they can have trouble keeping the shelves stocked on wknds. The bakery and Deli seem to be limited. I feel other stories have a bit more in the bakery area along with Fresh deli goods. Otherwise it def. Serves its purpose has a gas station nearby and provides a late night option if needed. Thankful for it being close enough but not too close for comfort.
The cashier Pamela recounted a story to me that she had with another customer regarding formula shortage. I just made it 8 months breast feeding my child, but after he was admitted into the hospital after falling very ill, my stress caused my supply to plummet. And with a formula shortage, this is an awful time to try and transition from breast milk to formula. I grabbed the ticket to give to the bagger to get formula and while we were waiting Pamela was telling me “I had a customer recently that said to me ‘maybe i should breast feed since there is a shortage’” to which Pamela proudly and ignorantly responded “Yeah you think?” Pamela obviously doesn’t have children or I am sure she would know how extremely difficult it can be. And she told me this story WHILE i was trying to buy formula. I was in disbelief that she rly had the balls to tell this to me. Left pretty upset the day before my first Mother’s Day. THANKS PAM!
Any reason why y’all are taking advantage of senior citizens? My older parents ordered groceries online to be delivered bc of health impairments and they can’t shop in your store. Apparently y’all had a glitch in the computer system that day. My mom ordered $363 worth of groceries and it was taken out of her account. My mom called and you guys said that you didn’t have her order, even though you took money from her account. They have limited money and now do not have groceries bc you would not complete her order. She has the order saved and you guys said you don’t have it. She called her bank and the bank said you lied and took out her money. You need to make things right and complete her order. She is filing a complaint with her bank on Monday. If this order is not fulfilled I will go to the news with this bc I’m sure she isn’t the only one that you are taking advantage of.
Picked up a prescription the other day, went to the drive up because there was no line. I usually have to go in because I need prescription cards ran to lower the cost. Albert M. helped me and he was a breathe of fresh air. He actually appeared to be happy to help me. He was very professional and ran each card into the system until we found one that lowered the cost by more than 1/2. It was a 400 prescription. He went the extra time to actually help me, (all the while fighting to keep control of the phone, it kept slipping off his shoulder and falling off the counter) unlike the others I had spoke to earlier in the day, they obviously only ran one of the discount cards I have on file because the price they gave me was only 40 cheaper. Thank you Albert!! You really did brighten my day by providing excellent customer service and and some stand up comedy.
This use to be the place we would buy all our groceries from but we’ve realized the Walmart on Golden Triangle is our new place. This morning my husband and I went shopping, once we were finished we went to the register on the very end by the medications. The two ladies (one behind register and one bagging) were working there. The lady that was working the register came and asked us to go to self checkout because we didn’t have that many items. Our cart was quite full and considering how ridiculous the self checkouts are with they’re beeping, calling employee attendant, or saying we aren’t bagging our food, we prefer not to use them. Well point of review, that was pretty ridiculous. Open up more registers for people that have a basket full of items or respect customer wishes of using the ONE check out lane open.
Terrible customer service. I bought a dessert wine that was on clearance. When I got home and opened it, the wine had completely gone bad and was undrinkable. I went to the same store and talked to the manager Omar. The first thing he said was “we don’t carry this.” The lady behind the register said “well it rings up in our system.” The very next thing he said was “oh it’s cooking wine.” I said no it’s dessert wine and it’s literally in your wine section right now. He totally dismissed me and tried to deny his store even sold this with it still being on the shelf. He then proceeded to tell me he could only exchange it for the exact same thing. Why would I want the exact same bottle that’s still on clearance and been sitting on your shelf for probably a year??? Terrible customer service.
I'm not really a big fan of Kroger lately. It's starting to remind me of a sack n save type of place but without the super cheap prices. They don't usually have many checkout lines open. The last time I was in, there was a pretty long line at the one open checkout with no bagger. Sure, you could self checkout but there's not a lot of room for bagging a lot of groceries. Plus, back to the whole sack n save type place, it's not like I'm getting a big discount here to do the work myself. Pretty much the only reason I still come here is that I can always get a bunch of cilantro, chicken for under $2/lb, and Hormel reduced fat pepperoni. If I need those things, I might do more shopping there but lately I've just been doing most of my shopping at a different store that recently opened.
This location has been on a steady downward spiral for some time. Poorly stocked, items cluttering up every aisle, all the shopping carts seem to have come directly from the junkyard. Usually only two checkout lanes are open, if any (other than self checkout, which I prefer not to use). This evening, my checkout person, J’Anae (sp?) never said one word to me, even when I said “Hello” and “Thank you”. She also had a chance while I was running my debit card to help bag the remaining groceries that I hadn’t already bagged myself, but she didn’t. She just stood there. So disappointing. The ONLY thing that has kept me coming back to this location is that it’s the closest to my home. I will for sure be on the hunt for a new place to grocery shop.
Terrible experience. I will be going to the other Kroger that is unfortunately farther from my house from now on. Asked an employee stocking shelves if she could help me find something and was blatantly ignored. Thinking maybe she hadn’t heard, I repeated my question. She turned to glare at me and then walked out of the aisle. I was dumbfounded. I also do not appreciate the location of the aisles in the store, as it is an obvious ploy to get you to spend more money. I realize every store does this, but the way this Kroger approaches it is NOT subtle. Just out to get your money, no regard for your convenience. Very disappointed. I’ll be taking my business to the Park Vista Kroger, where I receive excellent service.
I was in line at the 15 or less items check out with two patrons in front of me and I was asked the following by the cashier: " Are you waiting to buy cigarettes?" The self check out was super busy since there was only two other cashiers open who had atleast two or three people waiting as well. I did not mind to wait but the untactful question by the cashier I did not enjoy. I answered with a similar sounding answer: " No, I don't smoke!" Selfcheckout can be a hassle if you have an item where there is a birthdate involve so I don't use it when applicable. I prefer the cashier when I have produce as well. It was just weird and she probably did not mean it that way but it came across as disrespectful.
Only posting a review because what happen to me yesterday when an employee was cashing me out, while my 8 y/o daughter was bagging some of the groceries... He took my payment, turned off his lights, left the rest of the groceries on the belt and WALKED AWAY... not a single word to me, no "thank you" or "I'll be right back"... Just walked away. So I asked the cashier next to me if she can get the manager, she asked "what happened, where did he go? I'll get the manager right away" and apologize to me. Spoke to a very young manager who was confused that someone would just walk away, glad he apologized and hopefully management will put in some extra training on customer service...
For the most part my experience with this Kroger has been pleasant. The employees are generally nice, friendly and helpful. I’ve had one bad experience with an older employee who kept haggling me to buy meat in the discount section, but I just tried to ignore him & basically told him I wasn’t interested. I like the convenience of the scanners versus having to stand in line waiting to be checked out. The only thing that is an issue for me is that I usually do my shopping on Sunday mornings and it tends to be difficult to navigate when all of the stockers have things out in the aisle. Overall, this store is good and has a decent selection of groceries.
Major issues with the pharmacy on a medication that is very serious. They wouldn’t allow my husband to pick it up 3 min until close because Kim has already shut everything down. Her response was “if it was so important how did you not pick it up earlier”. Yet she did not know our situation and that we had been in the hospital. The pharmacist asked me the next day when I called to tell her “what do you want me to do about it”. Medicine can be life or death for people and when you decide to take this career path you don’t get to just not care. So thankful for a sweet lady at corporate who actually cared and was apologetic and seemed to care.
It's a nice friendly place with a lot of fresh produce. The pharmacy is also very helpful and accommodating. Being military born into, raised, and then married into and lived then raised my own children in, I haven't shopped at a Krogers in a very long time and to be in a Krogers that was clean and had a lot of variety was very refreshing. The reason for 4 stars versus 5 is that there is a restocking issue. I've dealt with plenty of Walmarts and they restock quickly. Unfortunately, this Krogers does not. If a product is no longer on the shelf there is a wait until it is restocked. Other than that I do enjoy shopping here!
I came into this store today to exchange some Formula that was expired that I bought at another store.. I would have gone back to the other store except they were now out of the specific formula I need for my son. One manager was so kind and came over and said they would do it. Then another manager comes over and says “you have to go where you came from.. otherwise my store will take the hit from this return”. Excuse me?? You’re more worried about your store taking a hit from a return then allowing me to exchange expired formula with a receipt for a very specific formula that the site I normally go to was out of??
Not sure what has happened with the customer service at Kroger Pharmacy but it has gone down hill fast. Automated message said meds would be ready one day. Pharmacy tech promised it would be in by another time and then when my mother went to get the meds she was told it would not be in until Monday ( I had open heart surgery less than 3 weeks so I am not allowed to drive). When my mother asked them to reach out to another pharmacy she received attitude from the pharmacy tech and she lied and told my mother she told me it wouldn’t be in today. Kroger this is why people can’t wait for HEB to open.
I was completely ignored at the seafood counter today. My husband and I were looking at salmon the woman behind the counter never acknowledged that we were standing the. A gentleman walked up she went straight to him asked greeted him and helped him still not acknowledging that we STILL standing there. No "I be right with you" nothing!!!!...i spoke with the assistant manager whom tried to smooth it over stating "she probably didn't see us". Needless to say i will not return. I won't spend my hard earned money to companies with employees that don't treat their customers fairly.
When I moved here four years ago, this location presented itself well and was clean with friendly employees. For the last year, it’s gotten worse and worse. Every cart has trash in it that you need to deal with before shopping. Trash is in the floor of the entry area. Produce is hit and miss. The bakery just wasn’t taking cake orders a couple of weeks ago. It doesn’t seem as clean anymore. Registers aren’t open. It’s just not the same experience anymore. They’ve also massively raised their prices compared to some of the competition. I’ve taken my weekly shopping to Walmart.
The pharmacy here is a joke. My medications for my rheumatoid arthritis are never ready on time. It doesn’t matter how much time I give them. I typically call everything in a week before I need them. I have even called up there to ask what time it will be ready. They give me a time (they tell me 2-3 hours after our call) I get there and my medications are still not ready. They also can’t seem to fill the correct prescription. My dr has upped my dose of methotrexate and I have been sent home with the old prescription twice now. Looks like I will using a different pharmacy.
All the meat at this place is rotten. They wouldn’t refund me my money despite having the credit card I purchased it with and my Kroger card. I’ve worked as a cashier as a teen and we would always refund returns that had the card it was purchased with. They were absurdly rude and disrespectful saying that the rancid meat was edible (the meat “manager”), and insisted on it until we said “would you feed this to your family?” And they finally admitted they wouldn’t. One employee actually stated that all Kroger’s sell rotten food, what a pathetic excuse of a corporation.
Clean store with good lighting. Good variety of products to chose from. My visit was a Sunday morning so Personnel was busy pulling produce items that were not freshness and restocking empty shelves in all departments. Check-out staff was friendly and polite. My concerns with Kroger are with the staff that bags your groceries. Hello people we live in the heat of the south....so please bag my cold/frozen items together! And please stop putting bread and chips with canned items. And Yes, bag my milk.... otherwise it sweats on the carpeting or my vehicle's seats.
This Kroger needs improvement, it is always low on stock, specially on promotional items. It usually has plenty of cashiers open, but for example today ( day before San Valentine's Day) they had 2 registers open and the place has full with customer's, but they had staff restocking the shelves. Most of the times is hard to find any staff to ask a question. And rarely you see a manager at this location. Also the restrooms needs some renovations. Gave 3 stars because the staff at the Deli is very nice, and I guess is less crowded than other Krogers.
I like this location a lot, the parking lot is designed well. The store itself is huge, and overall pretty clean. Great selection of produce, wine/beer, cheeses, etc. My only complaints are sometimes the isles are confusing to find. Also there are a lot of cashier lanes, but usually not many cashiers. So I tend to use the self-check out since there's a lot of those. However, the best part is there is a Kroger gas station right next to it so you can use your Kroger gas points....And a McDonald's if you want fast food after grocery shopping lol.
Waited all day for a prescription for our daughter; the RX was phoned over from urgent care. No phone call to let us know the status. When we finally went to get it, the pharmacist informed us that it would not be available for 3 days. They advised us to call around to find a pharmacy that had it. This was at the end of the day, so we have no options until tomorrow. They did not send us to another Kroger. Now my child is going to be in pain until morning, and I still have to figure out how to get an RX from another pharmacy.
I went to buy patio furniture. The signs state 40% 50% 70%... i will post pictures below. After talking to customer service and the store manager they stated that’s off of retail. How would you know what the retail price was? Not to mention the little green posters do not say off of retail price. This is false advertisement. I spend over $700 a month here and will no longer. They wouldn’t even honor it or take it down. One last note at night you can’t find any register open and that’s when I do monthly shopping.
I was visiting, from Phoenix, and Kroger/Fry's is where I buy a LOT of my groceries. They are set up very differently in TX, or maybe it's just that Kroger and Fry's are set up differently, but I loved this store. Easy to find things, wide enough aisle, not super crowded, good prices, good 'stuff' - their own brand in foods is great, and the same goes for pharmaceuticals and other non-food items. The deals on gasoline prices, you can't beat it if you use your points from shopping. I love Kroger/Fry's.
This location is the closest to my house. We however now only use it like a convenience store. They are always short on stock of regularly used items. My wife and I have started calling it 7/11 since you are lucky if they have 7 of 11 items we are looking for. We drive by this store to get to a better stocked store Kroger at Alliance Town Center. This store has been going downhill for the past year or better. The management is pitiful. My friends and neighbors agree something needs to be done.
Selection is great, service is great at this location along with convenient location. The outside of this location had continued to go downhill though. There is not a day I've gone to this location in the past month where I don't see trash littering the entrance walkways. I've also noticed empty beer cans and single serve wine bottles in the parking lot areas. Not something I like to see in the neighborhood grocery store. Hope they take note to clean the outside like they do the inside.
This place has a really cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The associates are very accommodating when you request for help. They have loads of items to peruse through, although it's important to remember that this is a grocery, not a store. They have food and other home and living inquiries. They're not selling furniture or clothing (although some krogers to sell clothing, but not regularly). Anyways, a great place to shop, so please come over here for your grocery shopping needs.
Kroger needs to train there employees on some basic customer service. I went in to get change for my store and I was shorted 20$ when I went back the lady who gave me change (Deborah) wasn't even at her station I waited 10'minutes till she came and I explained what happened and she didn't want to look stupid in front of people so she put on a show and stated I stole money and she threw the rest of my money at me and said she's gonna be short she needs trainer on human skills.
I started going here as my local store but it just not fresh. Every piece of meat I've bought went straight to the freezer and was bad when I took it out just a few days later. The worst part though, is the flies. There were flies in all of the produce and cheese. I bought cheese and noticed flies in the packaging. When I returned I looked closer at the cheese section and saw how many flies there were. I pretty much through out all of my cheese I had bought. Photos attached
It’s a Christmas miracle! I was at peace with the fact that I’d need to hit up a few stores since I’m shopping the day before Christmas Eve. But my Kroger did not disappoint! I went in with a list of 24 items and they had every single one. The checkout lines were well manned and shelves stocked. Thank you for your hard planning and preparation - it made for an enjoyable holiday shopping experience! My cashier Raynee did great too, especially for her first day!
Store was clean. you can tell that people we're just kind of standing around.the cash register. While she seemed nice but she didn't seem very interested in like helping. She was kind of like okay you're just another customer let me get you done. They seem to be out of a few things definitely people stocking so you can tell they have the sales were good if they're already out of the product but overall good experience just make your cashiers happier.
A year ago I would have rated Kroger a 2 or 3 star because of their high prices. Prices have come down, convenience has gone up and we love the discount on gas at their filling station. Selection and freshness also seems to have improved. Not as low as other 'low price' leading grocers, but given the other benefits they're definitely more competitive. Also their beef and pork quality is higher than all but Costco. And you don't have to buy in bulk.
This Kroger is mediocre if you go into the store to shop, but like another review said, DONT DO PICKUP! They are WAY understaffed. I waited over an hour for my first pickup, but gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again, but ended up leaving after another long wait for order 2 (and the fact that there 4 cars also waiting there prior to my arrival and we hadn’t seen anyone get groceries while we were waiting there). Don’t waste your time!
Shopping on Sunday night at 7pm, only one Cashier doing check out! This is ridiculous, there are 7 people in line with FULL CARTS and there's a line for self check out too. This is Sunday night Kroger, you need to hire and schedule more people for this busy time. I don't understand why Kroger does this, you obviously make enough money to pay more staff but you are just being greedy! This is not a single occurrence, this happens all the time!
Just got a pink tropical themed cake for my daughter's birthday party. I ordered over the phone describing what colors and theme I was looking for. The girl in the bakery who took my order was super friendly and helpful. I picked it up the next day and it was so pretty! She even showed me other decorations I could use for my theme. I appreciate the friendly service! Everyone thought it was a beautiful cake, thanks so much!!!
Very difficult shopping experience for people with limited mobility. Charged electric carts hard to access, charged carts fail, aisles cluttered with displays, apathetic employees, click list workers routinely stage stuff so that one can’t exit out of the TP/paper towel aisle without backing up through tight fit. If you need the assistance of an electric cart, I’d suggest going elsewhere.
Went to get some milk, and there was a hole in the milk, I couldn’t ask someone for help because the other Kroger employee was busy stocking up some meats or something I don’t know so I went to grab it and I got it in my hand and I’m like “oh it’s dripping” so then I get it and it has a hole at the handle, I spilled milk everywhere. Everyone check you milk to see if there’s any holes.
Groceries, Gas and Pharmacy but no General Merchandise. Still great service/value. Pro: -Pharmacy can get near anything in 24 hours -Open to stocking new, unusual items on your request -Great staff with knowledge of he store -Front end help offers special needs persons opportunity for employment Con: — No general merchandise (think: not a Super Target) - Often very busy on weekends
I'm from Cincinnati where Kroger is a staple. I love seeing a piece of home in Texas. It's one of the nicest and cleanest grocery stores you'll visit. The con about Kroger is unless you coupon clip, you will pay a big premium on your groceries. It is very pricey if you don't. It doesn't change my rating but if you need children's suppositories, go across the street to Walgreens.
My wife and I have been shopping here for a year and a half and we are considering switching our groceries to the Roanoke Walmart, which is pretty nice! The reason is it is the 3rd time in recent memory that I have not been charged the correct amount. We spend anywhere between 700-1200 a month here and it is getting old having to check my receipt, go to customer service, etc.
Kroger needs to start paying its customers since we continuously need to stand in long lines at their 12 self check out counters. This Kroger employees 1-2 employees, at the most, for a regular check out line... even at the busiest hours of the day. You almost inevitably will be waiting in a long line. Kroger leadership is providing such poor service for the neighborhood.
Update 8/19. They have moved everything in the store and it’s a disaster. I am open to change but Kroger really messed this one up. We have been shopping at the new Walmart more often. Overall a good Kroger.. On Sundays and Monday's they are out of stock on several items. Coupons they send in the mail as well as digital coupons make Kroger cheaper than most alternatives.
Besides having great produce the employees in that department are fabulous. I’ve had three people working in that area that were so helpful -Alexander was one of the best. So willing to stop what they’re doing and help you find what you need- makes me want to come back and tell everyone to shop here. Thanks Alexander for making my day. They are lucky to have you!
1. The store is very clean. 2. They have really good customer service. I was looking for butter and couldn't find my brand and someone asked me if I needed something, went to look for the butter in the back, and when they didn't have it, told me when the next shipment would come in. I appreciate this kind of service. 3. Get a Kroger card if you want to shop here.
Kroger you are making it very difficult to continue shopping at your store. You have so many displays blocking the alse you can’t to the shelves. Checker are was borderline rude. And I say checker because he was the only one with a store full of shoppers. You have raised prices thru the roof and put in more self checkout really. Fast losing a longtime customer
I have been shopping here for the past 5 years, and finally decided to go else where for our family grocery needs. They are always short on items. No shopping carts on the weekend. You have to go grab one from the parking lot. Constantly asking for donation. I don’t know what’s going on with the management. It’s poorly managed and going down hill every year.
Samuel is the most unprofessional and incompetent child that has ever been a "manager". Bought a non-food item that was "seasonal" as in fall and since it is after Halloween, not even Thanksgiving he refused to provide a refund despite the fact that we spend thousands at their store. Save yourself time and money and shop somewhere else. Incompetent idiots.
Guy at the meat counter was as yt trash as it gets. Also Kroger & Fred Meyer stop relying on customers to utilize self checkout while your employees stand around and do nothing but hover around & annoy us… There should be no reason why there are no employees working a register at any time of day. This is why I shop Whole Foods & Sprouts. Never again.
I shop at this Kroger frequently and have for the past 3 years. Store is always extremely clean and they are always modernizing the display cases. Though there are only a few check out clerks.... the ones there are always super friendly, fast and accomodating..... which finding a human to assist you these days at any store, is a bit of a rarity.
Kroger is going down hill. This store has offered ribye steaks on sale and at 10am not one ribye package. Meat department had very little compared to Tom Thumb and Kroger wants to but out all the other stores. Kroger gets 0 stars. Prices are very high. I will not shop Kroger again. I recommend Tom Thumb or Albertsons even Walmart over Kroger.
Don’t even bother wasting your time. Constantly out of stock of everything. At one point in time a lot of stores had trouble getting things on the shelves. That’s just no longer the case anymore especially when I am seeing fully stocked shelves at another Kroger just across the tracks. They are a bigger store yet always seem to have less.
Great store. Good prices and friendly staff. We definitely take advantage of their rewards program as well. Only complaint is I've noticed an increase in the amount of people who come to this store. This seems to lead to certain items being out of stock when previously it wasn't an issue. Regardless this is definitely our store of choice.
DO NOT do pickup. 2 1/2 hours late and still waiting for them to call me and say it’s ready. Lady explained there is only two of them and they are doing the best they can - I totally feel for them and I’m sure it’s not their fault - but this is a staffing issue! They offered a $20 credit, but at this point it should all be refunded...
They're severely understaffed here. Expect to wait in line for a long time. I'd rather drive to another Kroger instead of going to this one. The selection also seems smaller than at other Krogers. The pharmacy is nice but a long wait even when nobody else is there and they'll turn you away 40 minutes before the pharmacy closes.
I would rather have the 23rd Walmart take this place over rather than deal with the bad service and low stock at this location. It is incredible for how filthy rich Kroger is, yet won't invest in a proper grocery pickup in an area surrounded by homes miles in each direction. Let alone do some kind of updates to the store.
Store quality has really gone down the last several months. I’ve had to bag my own groceries on multiple occasions because there is not enough staff. There are always just a few check out lanes open, and the customer service has been lacking. I figure if this is what I’m getting, I might as well go to Walmart.
At their gas station the pump showed 19.00 spent and 4 gallons was put in but on my bank account its showed 40 dollars was taken out. So I called to see if we can fix this and still haven't found who I need to talk to fix this. I'm hoping someone from Kroger reaches out to help me so I'll delete this review
Update: 11/19 my wife has now sat over an hour waiting for her groceries!! This place is awful. Don’t ever shop here Worst kroger ever. Their produce is disgusting. Last time I was here there were flies in the onions. Also, their pickup is super slow. Wish there was another grocery store around.
Good selection. The shelves are usually stocked, but there have been a few times when I can't find what I need. The lines are normally long and I see a lot of employees standing around talking inside and outside of the building. The prices are a little high, but I do like earning fuel points.
Shame on you Kroger for not even having disinfectant of any kind at your carts last week. Every other grocery store we’ve been to has something to clean a cart but you guys were out and when I asked for more they said we’re out. We can’t come back until you take responsibility during covid.
Odd placement of inventory and signage makes this Kroger harder to navigate than other area signature stores. It's on my way home from work so I shop there when the Southlake store is not on my route. Cashier staffing has improved recently and my cashier tonight was pleasant and efficient.
Very big store, there should be something there for each one of your grocery needs. Most Krogers are laid out in the same manor (or at least similar ones) that allows you to fine what you need quickly. I always prefer their 2% milk, it's what I grew up with and tastes the best to me.
Very friendly, helpful staff..Produce is always great. All food/home departments are wonderful. The deli supplies Boar's Head products, very delicious.. Become a member for free..Build up fuel points and get great fuel (all types), for less cost than anywhere around. Pretty Awesome.
I call this the “good Kroger”. I use to be a personal shopper and would shop at this location twenty to thirty times a week. This store always has friendly and helpful stockers as well as cashiers. It’s laid out well and organized. I prefer it over the other Kroger’s in the area.
I want to say that I am extremely pleased with this Kroger. They made my shopping experience very enjoyable and they helped out a lot. This evenings crew did an amazing job but I can only remember two of the crew members that have helped me and their names are Celeste and Chris.
Never any checkout people. Always a massive line with poor service. Even the self check is half closed most of the time and only one set of doors open after 8 is ridiculous. Been waiting almost 2 years to post this. Please get better Kroger, you are our neighborhood go to.
I absolutely love this Kroger. Friendly, great prices, clean except there bathroom. Bathroom are filthy and always out of paper towels. Trashed bath rooms with slime on the doors. If you can shop without bathroom breaks your fine. Great deals to shop for. Thanks Kroger.
Hands down, the worst Kroger I’ve ever been to. Produce is always bad. They are usually out of stock of things I need. A good manager would know how to order things that are in high demand. This manager, does not know what he’s doing. And it’s evident within the store.
I ordered 50 sandwiches from the Deli for an event and they handled everything from taking the order to having it ready on time perfectly. The sandwiches were made exactly the way I asked. We all were very pleased. The price was the best I found after calling around.
Everytime we make a trip in, the stores are flooded with teens working (which is not the problem) the problem is they all have horrible attitudes and make you seems as you shopping there is a burden. I used to shop there weekly, after many bad visits, we're done!
Just wanted to shout out Kroger and the employees who made it to work today during the ice storm. Its dangerous and I know there are limited hours but to the people that showed up to work, THANK YOU!!! The store was clean, well stocked and always friendly.
Fruits are not fresh always have to pick through blueberries or strawberries. The grape tomatoes are poor quality they pack the good ones at the top and the rest is not good. Also, their Steak is tough have not had a good piece of steak for a long time!
Nice Kroger, but small bakery. Actually, this location has a greater selection of groceries than the other one off Heritage Trace (in Alliance Plaza). More specifically, this location has a large beer, wine, and organic foods sections. It's wonderful!
Had a horrible experience there recently where an associate yelled at me "Do you think you could do a better job than me?" "Do you think your eyes work better than mine ma'am?" Her behavior was unacceptable, inexcusable and egregious. Unbelievable.
always out of stock of everything!!!! Bought some stuff just to find out half of the stuff i bought was expired.. bought yogurt and it was expired by 3 months. Although this is the closest grocery store to me.. I think it’s time to find a new one.
Kroger food seems to be overpriced for no good reason at all, because it certainly isn't quality. The managers are bad, but the workers are pretty nice people. But good lord on basic food items, go to walmart, it will cost you half as much there.
The produce is almost always near expiration or small in size (tiny bunches of cilantro, green onion, lettuce, etc...). They switched brands of croissants from big, fluffy, and authentic to small, dense, and hard. The new ones are way too
Bagged own groceries more times than not. Severely under staffed with indifferent staff. Too many teenage staff fooling around instead of helping customers. Lower prices to match poor service or increase service. Prefer to drive to Winco.
I politely asked the Woman stocking the Pepsi to put on her mask and she refused so I took her picture to show to the manager. The clerk at the self check out said the manager wasn't in. Just then another Kroger employee wearing his mask
THIS STORE IS ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. To start this store as well as several others in the area have ALWAYS for years allowed us to use checks to purchase gift cards to then use for groceries. There has never been a problem with this and
Always clean, great produce, overall great selections and good sales. I still believe this except..they changed the layout of the store and moved things around. Before..I could run in and out..now it takes me forever to find anything.
After moving back to the states it's good to see a Kroger again! Nice home/kitchen goods department, everyone was friendly, customer service didn't feel phoney or in your face, store was clean...this will be my Kroger from now on!
Watch out this krogers isales expired milk, I tried to inform the manager was informed he did not have the time for me, Spoke to a nice lady named Amanda informed, If my family gets sick Not the last they will hear off this.
Store is always clean and usually stocked well with sale items. They don’t clutter the aisles with displays so it’s fairly easy moving around with carts. Produce and meat can be hit or miss though so check those thoroughly.
Always clean and not too busy. Love having this store around the corner from my neighborhood. They do a great job of keeping the lines short at the front and are always quick to open up new lanes when needed.
Great prices everyday! The only bad part was that when I had to take my daughters to the bathroom they were unisex restrooms so boys / men has tinkled all over the seats and toilet paper was EVERYWHERE
They have alot of great deals! The staff are caring and they assist you when ever you're needed! Especially great deal on the meat sections, dollar deals on seasonal food, affordable wine section too.
Good grocery store. They are slightly more expensive than Walmart, but they have a better selection of groceries. There is a Starbucks in here. They also have a decent toy aisle, including Legos.
My cashier Celeste, is such a model employee. I seem to go to her line often and she always brightens my day. Sometimes great customer service is hard to find. She nails it every time!
Just experienced the worst customer service from the woman running self checkout tonight at 9:18PM. Not friendly service at all. We love this Kroger and she has ruined this for us.
Do you guys realize that there has been a car parked in your parking lot, in the same spot, crooked, for over a month?? Probably needs to be removed. Real easy to spot.
The service was excellent! One employee stocking the meat greeted us and another employee at the self checked helped us multiple times and she was also very friendly!
Is near my house the variety of food is amazing. The merchandising is really good. The employees are very costumer oriented. They have a Starbucks. Is clean and neat.
