I am from the US and while I was visiting Medellin I decided to get LASIK. I highly recommend this place for this procedure. Everything was explained to me in English and the clinic was hygienic, clean, and very impressive. The doctors were professional and they didn't waste my time or money. I made a consultation appointment and had a bunch of different tests run, and after, I met with the doctor to talk about my options. I had the procedure completed the next day. It is a scary procedure because you have to be awake and obviously your eyes have to be open, so you have to watch everything they are doing. But the surgeon and his staff were very supportive and one of the nurses even held my hand when I got nervous. The procedure itself took maybe 10-15 minutes (very short, practically no time at all). Within a few hours my vision was clear and I could see perfectly! Understand, I've had glasses for most of my life and my case was exceptionally severe. It is so bizarre that I don't need glasses or contacts anymore...but I love it! I'm still in the 'recovery period,' so I have to put special eyedrops in my eyes a few times a day, but I'm not in any discomfort. If you are considering this procedure, go here. You won't regret it.

As an American, traveling abroad to do my lasik eye surgery in Colombia I was a bit hesitant. I had several friends who had done their lasik eye surgery in Medellin, Colombia and had great experiences so trusted I would as well. Upon arriving to Colombia for my appointment I was set up with a driver and someone who spoke Spanish to attend the appointment with me. Upon arriving to the clinic, it was very modern, clean, up to date just like back home in Florida. All of the assistants and Dr. Jaramillo were so kind and helpful from beginning to end. In Colombia the culture is much different than in the states, they genuinely take their time with you and listen to you and take care of you. If you have any questions following the procedures the doctors give you their information so you can personally reach out to them! Nicholas was so helpful with all my questions months prior to any procedures and still continues to answer any questions I may have. Colombia care is very professional and perfect for Americans who do not want to spend double or triple the price for a procedure done back in the states. Thank you Colombia care! :)

I couldn't be happier with the process and the results! The entire staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. The actual surgery (LASIK) took about 7 minutes. Less than 24 hours later and my vision was better than 20/15 approaching 20/10. I should have done this sooner. It's an upgrade to my life, it's like switching from HD to 4k, but for the whole world, not just my tv! Not having to worry about glasses and being able to go to the store and buy any sunglasses I want is a dream come true. I had my surgery around 5 on a Friday and woke up the next day feeling fully recovered. It feels like you have a little bit of sand in your eyes for a day or two and you have to use eye drops and wear sunglasses in bright areas. I highly recommend this to anyone.

I highly reccomend LASIK Colmibia Care! Everything about my experience with them was exceptional. Gabriel assisted me through the entire process from enquiry to after care in perfect English. He was helpful and responsive. My doctor Miguel was wonderful, again, superb English, and made me feel very comfortable. Nic, the director even popped in during one of my visits to assist with my payment as the receptionists had trouble with English. The clinic staff were friendly and patient with me, considering I don't understand much Spanish. Of course my surgery was a success. All in all I am very pleased I chose LASIK Colombia Care and would reccomend them unconditionally.

I did PRK surgery at Colombia Care last November. It's been three months and I couldn't be happier with the results! The eye surgery is seriously life changing and I recommend it to anyone who has sub par vision. I flew down from Arizona, US and I was a bit nervous but the doctor spoke English and made me feel very comfortable and even excited about the procedure. The whole staff did a great job of taking care of me and you can't beat the price! Plus I got a trip to Colombia out of it!

This was about as easy as a surgery could get. Colombia Care provided transportation to and from my eye appointment, as well as the day of the operation. The operation took about five minutes and I was seeing perfectly in two days. It has been about a year since I had the surgery and my vision is still 20/20. I would highly recommend Colombia Care for Lasik considering it was easy and extremely cheap in comparison to US prices.
