Lee, hands down, has to be one of the best stylists I have ever worked with. She's a true artist with her craft and was able to transform my Level 2, jet black Asian hair, to a Level 9 Platinum in 9 patient hours. She starts you off with a detailed consult letting you know what to expect and how the process will go. All my previous blonde already grew out and trimmed from the pandemic and I've managed to resist colouring it the whole time because I didn't want to have to deal with a colour correction issue, which means Lee had to do it all from scratch, which isn't an easy thing to do because just about every stylist I've ever worked with have told me how thick my hair is! And yet she still made sure to mix so much batches of lightener because she wanted to ensure that my hair would be as clean and even as it could be. Despite all the bleaching, there was hardly any fall out at all and the integrity of my hair is still as strong as it was when it was virgin. I look more like myself again and I owe it all to this brilliant woman. She's extremely meticulous and attentive the entire time, and you will never feel neglected in this salon. LJ Hair Group is a highly professional, skilled and beautiful hair salon which I have followed to Burwood from their CBD location. The staff are amazing and super friendly, and work wonderfully as a team. Lee and Albert provide a sit-down consultation to discuss the process involved and expected results, and their passion for beautiful healthy hair really shows through. Other hair salons have not been able to lighten and colour my dark Asian hair as well as Lee has, whilst still maintaining its health and integrity. This is certainly testament to LJ’s high level of technique and knowledge in preventing damage and understanding how to manage different types of hair. Lee has given me the best hair colour and cuts that I have ever had, and is very attentive and thorough to your preferences. Benson is excellent too! It’s no surprise that at each visit I have always been amazed and blown away by the results (both colour and cut), so I refuse to have any other salon colour and handle my hair! I had zero experience with bleaching and colouring, so I came in with a few photos. Lee then sat down with me for consultation and walked me through the process to achieve a particular look. She mentioned up front with the colour I’m asking for and my current hair, the result would come up a bit green. She recommended some looks and colour, we settled on pink/purple. I was unsure to be honest but I have decided to trust Lee and glad I did.. must say I love it now! Lee also taught me how to style and curl the hair and readjusting the cut because she found out I also like to tie my hair up. In general, Lee was very accomodating, honest and up front (not only style, expectations but also price), funny, and foremost professional hair stylist.

Not sure where to start but I had the best experience getting my first digital hair perm (also cut) done by Lee! The service was excellent and the result is exactly what I wanted! I was so unsure before I did it but Lee was so patient and explained everything thoroughly not only that, she's also honest with my hair condition and wants only the best for my hair so she also explained the commitment that I need to do to maintain this beautiful perm! She did everything very meticulously and she's the most fun and friendly hairdresser ever! I can't recommend her enough to anyone who's wanting to get their hair done! <3 Ps. This was my first time visiting Lee and I was astounded by the service! I was completely fed up going to miscellaneous hairdressers every year and was so glad to found Lee. She is incredibly experienced in hair colouring and is upfront with everything. She will tell you we’re damaging your hair, but she will also use every effort to minimise this with the highest quality products. We targeted colour correction for this session however achieved beyond expected, and I’m so impressed! Admittedly, Lee costs more than other hairdressers, however you certainly get what you pay for! If you’re tired of terrible hairdressers that ruin your hair and want to achieve brilliant results, I recommend Lee!

I’m so happy with my hair . Lee was really attentive and understood exactly what I wanted. She really delivered on everything I asked for during the consultation, she also thoroughly went through what to expect and how to take care of my hair afterwards. She really prioritised my hair and scalp health. The appointment was very enjoyable and Lee generously made sure I felt cared for and comfortable throughout. It’s such a nice feeling to have a professional with ample experience dye my hair, especially as I wanted a more unique colour. She is a bit pricey to book, however her work quality really speaks for itself.

Lee is seriously the best hair designer you can have. Being really fussy and pedantic about my hair, I’ve left many salon’s unsatisfied. Not only is her service top notch, she takes time to consult and plan your hair journey in the longterm. My hair was balayaged poorly (black and orange tiger stripes)and box dyed multiple times. Lee is truely the best colouring specialist. As always, she provided very thorough consultation before we started. She fully explained what I could expect from my current hair. Even though my hair was very dry from the beginning, she put my hair health as her priority and chose the products and colours very carefully. Lee is the most professional, friendly and caring hairdresser I have ever met. I tried her for the first time almost 5 years ago and she's the only person I trust to do my hair now. It was my first time getting my hair professionally done so I was a bit nervous but I didn't need to worry at all! Lee is by far the best hair colourist I've encountered! She was able to return my hair back to its natural dark brown colour and leave it feeling and looking so healthy after many years of damage from bleaching and colouring by other hairstylists. It was obvious from my hair consultation with her at the start that she is very experienced and knowledgeable. Lee is amazing! not only did she achieve an amazing result in one sitting of a colour correction from years of box die but she also put the effort into adding extra treatments into my hair to fix how badly damaged my hair was and recommend products and well as educate me on how to keep my hair healthy without pushing products onto me like other salons do. she was upfront about all the prices and my options. Lee strategised my appointment to ensure low maintenance colour which will need less appointments for touch ups.
