I was passing through the city from Long Island and wanted to see the NYE prep excitement. So I ventured into the chaos of Times Square. Having just received a Loft gift card, I walked into the beautiful store just off Broadway. I needed long pants. I was politely told they don't carry women's tall sizes in store. I decided to browse then order something online. Having found some pretty good sales on winter clothes, which being a native Floridian I do not own yet, I decided to use my card right then. It's pretty confusing. Identical items in different sizes had vastly different prices. A dress in size large was $99, while the same identical dress in a small was marked $38. I went to purchase a white and blue striped sweater that was $59.99-50% off in small, but saw a Medium for $24.88 final sale-60% off. That was a great deal. I'll take it! Realizing that petite clothing were different prices than regular clothing in an identical style, I thought this was the norm here. I chose three sweaters and a pair of lounge pants. All on sale. Once I got to the front, nothing rang up as marked on the tags. The blue and white striped sweater that was $24.88 +60% off in a size medium, was not honored And I was practically accused of switching stickers. When I told the manager that the entire section of mediums were marked at final sale prices and should be an extra 60 off, she proceeded to bring up an arm full of smalls at the $59.99 price and try to prove me wrong. I knew the smalls were marked at the higher price which is why I wanted to purchase medium. I was insulted. I told her she should go now and remove those from the shelf so other customers aren't disappointed and rebuffed. She did not. She wanted to hold tight to her tone of accusation that I did something wrong. Not her employees. I'm hoping that this stores policy of shaming customers before problem checking facts or the possibility that incompetent employees mismarked clothing prices, is unique to this location. As my first shopping experience at Loft, this was a huge fail, and would deter me from coming into the store again. The other employee that was helping me at first was very kind, but she had no influence over the manager that was dead set on treating her customers like thieves. Needless to say I will not be going back, and I will be returning the one sweater I bought so the bad vibes don't cling to it. Hoping the store I go to next will be much friendlier.

One of the staff workers was rude to me, she wore a leopard print top. I was genuinely interested in trying out three pairs of joggers there and was in the fitting room and wanted to also try on something that I had just bought from the previous store. I asked my bf to give me the other item from his bag but since I was already in the fitting room he needed to relay it to her to give to me. She assumed I was only pretending to be interested in the joggers and kept asking me in a not so friendly manner if I was interested in the jogger pants and threatened to take them away. I told her I haven’t tried them on yet. After trying them on, I put two back and took one with me because I wasn’t sure if I was going to buy it. She proceeded to follow me and scolded at me saying if I wasn’t interested to give them to her at the fitting room and to try out clothes I buy at other stores at home. If she was so bothered by me trying on clothes from other stores then she could’ve just told me no instead of allowing it and then getting mad and scolding me and assuming I was there just to do that. Will not be coming back.

I went to this store yesterday to get a jacket I've been eyeing for literally months. I couldn't find it on the floor, even though it said it was in stock online. The team that worked there went above and beyond to find the jacket in the stockroom, bring down two sizes, and help me decide on which one fit better. It was such a great experience... I've definitely been to stores where you are ignored and the team is not helpful, especially in a crazy busy place like Times Square. I work right by there and will definitely go back. Plus, the clothes are really nice and of high quality.

Just so so...was looking for a couple of novelty knit tops...store was jammed with product and lots of sale merchandise , but not terribly inspirational. Most of the product was a little quirky or in odd colors. And when I did find a couple of great tops on sale....there were at least 3 dozen of a style but all were size XS or S! The buying team needs to rethink how they buy to size...need more mediums and larges. It is said that the profit margin an apparel store is based on what price the last 20% of the inventory is sold after markdowns.

Well stocked store with great selection and kept neat. Experienced terrible customer service tonight. Near closing time and the person on the floor kept harassing how it was closing soon and not to mess up the clothes folded. Tried to tell cashier and she ignored me and didn’t even respond. I was out before closing. No need to harass if you want my business. Most people will hurry along when reminded and told once nicely. Even a gentle apology or smile from the cashier would have been nice. We all have long days.

Great place for high quality clothes with reasonable price! I found my business casual clothes and luckily they were on sale (in the end of August). Staffs are friendly and willing to help, always offering the best they can. Carla helped me find different types of pants and blazers in the right size. LOFT and Ann Taylor are sister stores so you can use the same card to accumulate points. The price in the store matchs the price on their website, better try the clothes in the store before making orders.

Yesterday I was there doing an exchange the cashier was a white guy who had on turtle neck shirt. As I handed him the items he said the return date has passed and you can’t exchange this. I said I bought it just two weeks ago. He then looked at the receipt and said oh. A few moments later a white girl was returning her items with the cashier next to me and she didn’t receive that type of racial discrimination. Not sure if I would return or continue to shop there.

This was the most wonderful shopping experience I’ve had in months. I went to the store with a service dog and not only were the staff incredibly accommodating about putting my items in the handicapped stall but they also offered to bring him some water and asked if I needed the flickering light turned off without asking about my disability. Thank you to the wonderful staff for being so helpful and to the manager for training your staff so wonderfully!

I visited this store at 42 & Times Square for the first time by "accident". I was walking to the store at 47-50 Rockefeller Center but my map took me to this store which is really big and have lots of sale items. During checkout the sales person informed me that the other store was closed permanently. I mostly shop online and will occasionally return an item at the store. Luckily for me and Google maps I found this store and I made some good purchases.

Went to The Loft Times Square make a return. While I was there, I saw the scrunchies on the table. So I purchased it. During the purchase, the cashier (Asian) had the scrunchie in her hand and kept playing around with it, stretching it and flinging it around. I should have not purchased it because when I got home a string came out from the scrunchie. She was so bizarre, why would you play around with an item I’m purchasing?

I usually shop Ann Taylor online so It was fun to visit an actual store while I was visiting NYC. However, as is expected, the selection and size range was far smaller than I'm used to finding online. Also, in true NY fashion, there were far more styles in size 00 than XX. On the plus size, it was nice to be able to try things on before buying, and also the cashier gave me a nice discount when she rang up my sale.

Fatou was very kind and patient as she helped us look for an outfit for a special occasion. She helped put together the look with accompanying accessories that just make it look amazing. The fitting rooms were spacious and this store is much bigger than I had imagined it was on the inside. It was such a great shopping experience I look forward to more trips here

This store is huge and organized, so if you're a LOFT fan you'll really enjoy it here! I was impressed with the petite selection and also visited during a huge sale so loved my visit here. Spacious store, plenty of fitting rooms. Customer service at checkout could have been friendlier, but overall the staff were friendly and helpful.

Frequent traveler - this location is right near Madison Square Gardens. They were two stories and had tons of selection. The staff was very helpful. I had to walk because getting a cab or Uber was impossible at that corner. My concierge told me, you are better off going a street away from this corner to get a cab.

This is the "Flagship" for Loft. It was a beautiful store. The staff was friendly and professional. However, twice I looked for my size and there was none. I suppose it just wasn't my day, so I decided to just browse. The store was well maintained and it was a great opportunity to see the new colors and styles.

Nice place to get cloths and accessories for women. Its an affordable store for working class women and young ladies in New York. Available are casual wears and official dresses for corporate and simple get to go. The staff are lovely and supportive. Customers are freely allowed to go in and out of the store.

Went to this location twice within this week because I was in the area. Both times, the cashiers were impatient, they don't want to do/say/answer anything other than ringing up purchase. The store was almost empty, there were no line. Considering the pandemic, I thought customer service would be better.

This location is their head quarters located in times square. They have a large petites selection here and always have the latest most up to date selection of their clothes. I gave 3 stars because going to times square is the worst. Other than that it's a nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

The racks were thoroughly abused by a lot of ‘done-ups at fifties’ but the fashions suited my not-quite-forty’ well enough that we emptied the change purse on new gear that she’s over-the-moon about. There was enough staff to handle the line-ups quickly and they were all friendly.

The customer service was very good. I went there because they had a sale a couple weeks ago but unfortunately I missed it. Nice quality clothes. However they need to carry one size bigger in slacks. Their styles can compliment women who are in the next size from what they carry.

Stopped in one day, put some clothes on hold, and when I came back later, they weren't up at the front desk, but Ashley was so helpful and patient and thorough and eventually found them in the fitting room! Really appreciate how friendly and helpful the associates are.

Good sized store. An employee offered to help me find my size. Clean store and not overly crowded at the 6oclock hour. A slight "downstairs" area with petites and clearance that is like 2 steps down from the main floor. Nice open well arranged space.
