Okay to start off the manager Shelly is amazing!! She goes far beyond to help all residents in everything she can. She checks on the elderly who live in the community to make sure they are doing fine. She is always encouraging all residents to come into her office whenever they have an issue. I have lived in this park for almost 3 years now and the park has never looked so good. She is working very hard in getting the park the best it can be. I have read some of the reviews and honestly cannot see why anyone would call her a racist. The people that have been having these issues with her is because one they don't pay their rent or they were told to keep their yard's clean. I do not know why such a small issue can escalate to so much. It's just as simple as to following the rule no one wants to live in a place that does not look clean. I think this is just common sense, also just pay your rent no one will let you live for free anywhere you go! As you can see by name lol I am Hispanic and really get along with Shelly. I specially love that she is always out driving around checking that everything is fine. The lighting issue had been a problem since before Shelly even arrived at the park and while she's been here she has actually put some more lights around the park. I really love living here and as a mother of 2 I really enjoy the our manager is actually out and about and trying to meet every resident and their children. Keep up the amazing work Shelly. You are amazing as a manager and as a human being.

I have lived here a year now and it has been a pleasurable experience for me even though the management has had turnover. It seems they have gone through the transitions Well Nick, who is our current manager has been nothing but pleasant. He has been attentive to listen to any concerns that I have and addressed them in a timely manner. He is always available. If I leave a message he gets back with me The same day. He never makes me feel like I'm wasting his time . He will stop and listen to whatever I have to say and he's always very polite and I feel he's doing a very good job and I am very grateful that we have him as our manager. It's nice to know that I can contact him at anytime and it will always be a positive experience !

Horrible el trato de la manager Shelly ,,,, y además horrible en el frío , las tuberias siempre se congelan y cuando no están congeladas están arreglando algo,,, siempre hay problemas con el agua . La manager es racista , trata alas personas muy mal ,,, y si tienes alguna pregunta siempre te responde de mala manera. Amenaza con echarte la policía o correrte del lugar en 30 días ,,, es una persona despota grosera y racista,,,,, cuando alguna tubería de agua se rompe aunque no sea en tu espacio te hace que pagues mas dinero al mes,,,,,, bienes pagando hasta 500 dlrs enren la renta del terreno , el drenaje y el agua eso es lo que se paga aquí desde que shelly llego como manager.

We paid to move in on the 1st of the month didnt get to move in tell the 13th and it was there fault the lights could not be turned on because the meater was stolen and the gas line needed moved because of the hook up was not where it needed to be then on top of that our sewer has been backed up for weeks and they said we could have our dogs but now we are being kicked out i mean my son is 7 months old could not give him a bath beacuse the sewer was backed up in our was backed up into the bath tub the did not fix it and they are rude when you are stating facts there house was not in a bad shape and the sewer smell is out side i would not let my worse enemy live there

This goes to everyone on the management team and ownrs.....the one star rating was noting but short of a accident do to a Google maps experience I had coming back from Kansas City Kansas..I am not a resident at this fine park but i have dearest and wonderfull friend who live in the resort and she is very please with staff and landlord she never once had to complain about any issues the truth matter is she hasn't had any yet and do believe that from a well ran park so if my friend is happy then im happy it differently a 5start review for me yet again sorry about the mix-up and keep up the good work......Thank you

One of the worst trailer parks in Kansas City the owners and manager is on there to anybody and they do the wrong things to improve the trailer park like there has not been any street lights in five to six years and they keep coming out with new rules contradicting the old rules and when you go to the office to complain they don't do anything unless you're Mexican and if you do something wrong they get on to you about every little thing and most of the people are Snoopy and complain about little things that you would be doing in your own yard or home I would say one of the worst mobile home parks in Kansas City

Not gonna lie I think the only thing since I've moved here a month ago was how much I had to spend to get in here for a one bedroom which is destroyed and I'm fixing up cause I've let Erica know and nothings been done so I've been fixing things next is this hole in the wall and all the doorframe that are missing and nails exposing gotta fix that. I spent 2 ½ grand to move into a one bedroom for 825 a month it's more then I think it should be but if that's all I got to deal with that's wrong so be it this place gave my husband and I a second chance after our mishaps and I couldn't be more grateful

A very conscientious manager is on top of the visual of this community, come take a look & become a part of this neighborhood, you'll b glad u did. New homes, laundry accessibility for tenants (Bluetooth app), internet accessibility, hear & see fire works from the stadium, staff responds to tenants needs, shares resources, & design community gatherings for children & families. U can also get to expressways & shopping districts from your home in less than 10 minutes & KCI in 26 minutes or less.

LIES LIES LIES the new manager is a racist and blunt about it I had a $1300. Money order to move in Sep 1 and she said " We will not take you or your money order "" qoute"" because you do not have an application now mind you she at this time had my money order. I showed her my fee receipt for the application. I had past the back ground check. She did not want to speak with "just at me" she also made me miss 2 days of work. But that's OK because she will not last, some one will tell her off one day. Just happy got my money order back. Just a hateful old woman that has never known love.

Lived here a long time. Every 12 months they bring in new management that seems to know less than the last. Latest is an undocumented teenager. Confidence inspiring. "Landscaping" and park maintenance is handled by what appears to be a revolving door of meth users. They did bring in a few FEMA trailers this past year. The majority of which are still vacant. Maybe folks want a little lawn instead of uneven gravel pits for a yard? The good news is they seem to make up for being inept and unresponsive by raising fees every few months. Good times.

I've been a home owner here for a number of years. Watched ups and downs of the park with ownership changes. Park is on a nice upswing last couple years. Lots of infrastructure improvements. Some new homes coming in and lots more neighbors showing pride in their homes. Management team is quick to respond to any issue big or small. Friendly and helpful maintenance staff. I can get anywhere in the city quickly from here. Freindly neighbors, safe, and quiet. Come check it out and see for yourself.

Good afternoon i live in La Casita for 8 years. Never have we had problems like now. Theres a management problem that needs to be fixed immediately. SHELLY THE MANAGER is not qualified to be manager because doesnt not fix any problems since shes always being rude and has digusting behavior. She is racist and people cant speak properly with her she gets alterated . Its urgent to have a confrence or a meeting or something to fix these problems . I am not the only resident wanting to speak up .

I have friends that live in this park. I think the new manager Shelly is going an outstanding job. This park had needed a tough manager. The park looks great. She had really cleaned up the place. I have talked to several residents and they said she is always asking us to clean up our yards. Well that's her job. It was really just a trailer park until Shelly came. It is now a mobile home community. I think the residents that are complaining are just lazy. Great job Shelly keep it up..

Shelly has been great to work with when choosing our new home. I've known and worked for the community for a couple of years now and I could tell the positive changes that has taken place . I truly believe Shelly has done a great job in cleaning up the community, if I did not believe this we would not have just moved here and I would not have accepted the maintenance position here . Management this time around is great! The girls are amazing and try their best to make this place feel like home! They are always going above and beyond to help fix any issues within the park while enjoying themselves at the same time. It makes it alot easier to speak out and voice your opinions, thoughts or concerns. Theres been alot of great changes happening to this park, i cannot wait to see what the future holds in my new home!!

The property management team are friendly, eager to work with you, and knowledgeable. Voucher programs are accepted. That was great news to me. This is a veteran friendly community and they have been critical in helping me, a transitioning Veteran find stable housing. I highly recommend them; if you are looking for housing, I hope for your sake, that they have a vacancy available for you!!!

I have lived here since May of 2016. This place has good potential if the owners invested a little more love and care into this community by adding street lights and by picking up the trash. I love my home and try to take care of it, but pulling into the park is depressing when I see trash and overgrown grass on almost every street. Hopefully new management will make this place shine like the diamond that it can be

I love living here! I literally started over with nothing due to family issues & when I say I walked in & talked with Erica she made me feel at ease. I've been here a year this month. Anytime I have issues Erica & maintenance are on it ASAP!!! I honestly can say they actually do care. Erica doesn't play, when it comes to her tenants well being. Some may see a "trailer park" but this is home & we love it here!

I moved from California and after staying with my cousin, I was able to buy my own place. I have been in this park for few months and I LOVE IT, ME ENCATA. My kids go to the local schools and many people take the city bus right outside the community. My kids enjoy living here with so many other kids. We have many Hispanics in this community and this is a great location with everything so close!!!

Lot rent from 290 2015 to 495 now. Been here since 06. 60 dollars rent increase for free Wi-Fi. Seriously. Highway access cut off, now all uphill between cars and water ditch to cross. Crime is doubled here putting up prison next door. Constant harassment from the coming and going management every year to fix up your trailer and lot although the empty lots and trailers are not fixed.

A lot of people who neglect their animals. My neighbors keep their dogs out in kennels or short tie outs. Owner threatens people who feed the starving & skinny cats. There’s a crazy lunatic on Crystal Ave who’s constantly fighting neighbors and people in the street, waiving his gun and whatnot. This place is definitely not safe after dark either. Trash is strewn everywhere.

This place is a very affordable. I've been living here for about 2 years and I am very pleased with the management. It is a very quiet community and has great location. Shelly is the new management and has improved the park so much since she's been here. I love to see her out in the park working on things! It's refreshing to see an enthusiastic face in the office.

Hope has been a joy to work with. From our showing to our application to our move in she has helped us out every step of the way and really takes alot of time explaining things and helping us out. We are so excited to be here at La Casita and are very grateful to have a manager here that cares about the property and her residents.

Worse place to Live. Plumbing sucks I have had standing waste outside of my window for 6 months. I called fox 4 and a lawyer and because of this I was released from my lease. Office staff is rude their is no maintenance man on site. The manager for the complex is in Texas and they never answer the phone. Do not move here!!

I have lived here 2yrs and i like it. My only problem with this place. NO INTERNET!! I personally have contacted every provider in town AT&T SPECTRUM XFINITY GOOGLE TIME WARNER They all said NO. I mean inmates in prison get internet. guess we have to go to prison just get decent isp (internet service provider)

My experience has been very pleasant. The management was very friendly and professional. I looked at a couple of homes and found a real affordable , gently used home. I've been here a couple days and it's so quiet here I feel like I'm in the country lol. I look forward to living here.

The Park Manager has worked with the agency to place a potential resident. The Park is looking better now than it has in years. The manager is very strict yet compassionate. She tries very hard to maintain the integrity of the Park and yet work with residents.

Lived here for 4 years, terrible place because it went under new management 3 times and the regulations changed soooo often. Nobody could keep up with the rules because they were related to trash disposal and porch cleanliness and whatnot. I'm glad I left.

I've been here now at LA Casita Home Park for 3 1/2 years. Since I've been here they have done major improvements.They staff are very friendly and take the time out to assist any of my needs. The place looks great. I enjoy living here.

I will be turning in my paperwork for renting here in a couple days. I will tell you it's a good fit for us. You can actually feel life there and omg the children there is wonderful. This place has changed ALL for the better

Property manager burned me for $2400. Put $2000 down on purchase of her trailer and $400 lot fee for first month lot fee. She sold the trailer to another person and refused to return my $2000 down payment and $400 lot fee.

Shelly is one of the most hardworking, never sleeping, people I know. She will not sleep until the job is complete and has her approval. It has been great working with her and watching her change the park into greatness
