I'm so happy I found this place. For those in the know, La Islena is a really superb butcher shop and grocer! Always fresh meats, seafood, produce, and cheese. I have tried almost every item, and it is all better than the supermarket. The produce is ripe and inexpensive. Seafood ceviche is incredible. So are the wonderful variety of salsas. I think they are a family recipe. They have almost every ingredient you could ever need crammed into a tiny space. You might have to look around or ask for help but chances are its going to be there. Love it.

They have it all from sweet breads, beef ribs, skirt steak, flank steak, short ribs, tenderloin, sirloin cap, Italian sausage and blood sausage. Located in the N.W. part of town, on the corner N.W. of Smoke Ranch and Rainbow, this little gem of a store is a treasure for everything that you need for your next (parilla) grill, with family and friends.

The best Carne asada ranchers so far in the NW region of Vegas, a bit pricey bit it's because I ordered 8 pounds Wirth when I thought it was 3, it's ok because it was well Wirth the hefty penny!!! I also got some Pollo Loco (marinated chicken) can't wait to see what that tastes like!!!! And next I will try thier salsas, oh I also got some panels cheese and that was on hit too, so happy I found this gem!!!

Best Grade Carne Ranchera Preparada in all of Las Vegas no exaggeration. 100% approved. Give it a try and I GUARANTEE you won't be disappointed. Had high expectations from other reviews, bought this "ranchera" the smells is horrendous. Very disappointing. *UPDATE they can't refund when you pay with card so I got mangonada, elote, horchata, and pepino which were all really good so changing from 1 star to 3 stars

It's a great little market with a really good Carniceria. It's the size of a small convenience store but The folks there are nice and the prices are great they even have some produce you'll be surprised, I was very happy with the carne asada and Pollo asada I got there.

went for chicken fajitas for grilling and everything I got was great! great flavor. got some chips, salsa (hand made!) and dessert (hand made, authentic) as well. kind of weird looks for not being their usually clientele but everyone was nice enough :)

This store is a like a hidden little treasure. Lots of Hispanic foods available. Sweet breads and original Mexican snacks. Freshly made salsas and guacamole, all taste homemade. Their already seasoned chicken and beef are delicious. I

I amazed that this place is still open, I bought imported item and they were expired, the isles are packed to the ceiling, no room to walk around, the meat counter smells disgusting to say the least...

I love this market! They never make me feel out of place, and the quality they sell is fantastic. The prices are great too! I bought chicken fajita mix for $1.99lb and al pastor for $1.50lb on sale.

Not sure who is the owner, but the store is a mess and so dirty!! My husband bought eggs and tortillas and they were expired and smell really bad! There is no room to walk.
