Honestly, a nice and wholesome library. Not much more you can ask for. Although, I don't personally go for the books. I'm actually a major fan of their DVD collection. As a matter of fact, my most recent rental, "Foodfight", came with the "Shark Tale" DVD also in the case! But hey, who's gonna complain about a double feature? ;)
This has gotten to be such a nicer place to be now that I no longer encounter the worst of the gossips among the older librarians. I don't know if it's because my schedule changed, or she decided to take her attitude elsewhere, but now this library is one of my favorites.
Every staff and volunteer that works in this library are just the most wonderful people. The bookstore volunteers always make me feel welcome and help me find what I'm looking for. Parking can sometimes be tight but if you keep driving north on Draper you'll find spaces.
Cute library, we come here often for Story Time with kids. However what I and other moms really don't like is the iPads in the Kids' section. We come to the library to enjoy reading, but what we get is fighting with kiddos to leave the screen! So annoying...
All the city libraries are pretty nice but this location is especially wonderful. It's a great location and there is always a wonderful breeze and the sound of seagulls. It's very peaceful. The staff are always very friendly and helpful!
I loved this great gem of a library. They boast a college prep room. They offer prep backpacks. Inviting childrens areas with current and recent books. The Womens Month displays were plenty. As well as the Black History month displays.
I love our library system. The website is a little difficult to navigate, but "practice makes perfect." If you cannot find what you are looking for, put a hold on it and it will be delivered. It has the small, quirky movies too. I had
They now have a rude obnoxious jerk named Sean managing this place. I tried to check out some issues of the New York Review of Books, a weekly periodical that can borrowed from libraries across the country, including this one until
Not impressed, the place is so old and poor interior design. It's like they don't know what to do with the space they got. They should have try visit new port beach library and get some inspiration. Friendly staff though.
Perhaps the loudest library in San Diego, but it is kept clean. Helpful staff and cheap books for sale. You can also donate used books at this location. But if you come here to study bring some ear plugs.
I love the La Jolla Library. Everyone is very helpful and nice especially librarian Kelera. Kelera was very helpful with perpetual smile, which made my trip to La Jolla Library enjoyable. THANK YOU.
Great library with a large children's area. Lots of books for sale at very reasonable price. Staff are wonderfully helpful. They have a great art class there for kids also.
Clean, friendly staff, huge selection. Great children's section. Check out the Children's Activities, great storytime with Miss Teri on Thursdays. Highly recommend.
A great place to just sit and read in cumfy chairs. Art shows, concerts, lectures, flower arranging, book sales, kid's reading time .. So many things to do.
Great library. Beautiful building with three floors of books and media fir all ages. Friendly staff and programs that both entertain and educate.
Great place to read a book and check the surf all in the same day, one of my favorite places to chill when I’m in downtown La Jolla
Great library. The is short time parking for you to stop and drop things off. There is a voting ballot box out front
Massive two floors and helpful librarians. I go there every month for the teen book buzz and love the experience.
Old, not enough seating. I gave it a 3 star because it’s clean, but that’s about it.
